“My fiancee and I stopped in here today and I'm glad we did! We were originally going to grab brunch at Baker's Kitchen, but there was a long wait. So, we decided to try something different and instead grabbed lunch here. I got the Fish and Chips and she got the Unsalad. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The catfish was absolutely amazing and the salad greens and other ingredients were fresh and looked great. Service was spectacular and friendly. Will definitely be returning in the future!”

“A very busy place, but got a table after a 40 minute wait. The mini croissants they bring out are delicious. Our server was great, and had a good sense of humor. I had the salmon and baked sweet potato that was awesome, and my husband had the meatloaf, which came out lukewarm so he asked to have it warmed up, which is why the 4 stars instead of 5. He did like it after that! Highly recommend Morgan's!”

“After a long hot tour of Tryon Palace right up the road, my family and I decided that we wanted to eat somewhere other than the typical fast food drive-through experience. After Yelping different locations in New Bern, I decided to have some seafood at The Stingray Cafe. Upon walking in, the dimly lit environment and wooden decor was a welcomed change from the bright, hot outdoors. We were seated immediately by a very friendly and courteous greeter. After we were seated, our waiter (who was from Florida) welcomed us and answered all of our questions about the menu thoroughly and professionally with a smile on his face! After getting our drinks he presented us with the best tasting hush puppies that I have ever had in my life! A little while later, our food arrived. I had the 1 pound of North Carolina shrimp with seasoned fries and potato salad. I have to tell you, I was very disappointed when I finished my food, because I didn't want it to end! It was THAT good! We live an hour away from this place, and I am planning on making this restaurant a monthly visit! If you plan on eating anywhere else in New Bern, you're silly. Go to this place instead!”

“Ate here tonight with the family while on vacation here in New Bern. Lovely city. Kyle took care of us. He's top notch! What a great personality. The burgers are awesome, the decor excellent. The atmosphere was really cool. Had the Alamo, but changed it up a bit with avocado and pineapple and no Sour cream. Came out great. Kyle was great with suggestions and helping the family with their decisions. My son had the hot dog which he loved and my daughter had her first cheeseburger and actually ate most of it!. There were 5 of us tonight. Closed the place. Well worth it!! Thank you!!”

“The service was outstanding, friendly and timely. I ordered their "shrimp diablo" as I love hot food, it definitely delivered on the heat and the flavor was excellent. There were two in my party and the other guy got taco's and he exclaimed that the flavor was "on point" and "far exceeded expectations". I might add that the house margaritas were very good and made my list of go to place's on the east coast. The price point was very affordable and well suited for families of any class.”

“Whenever a new restaurant opens up, I've found that it's a good idea to allow time for them to work all the kinks out before going. So, I've read most of the reviews for this one and it appears that one person will really like it and the next one really hates it. So, I decided to give them a try anyway because opinions are subjective. It depends entirely on what day it is, what time it is, who's working, and what kind of day their having. I've eaten here five times and had a great experience each time. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was delicious. No mistakes with the orders. The atmosphere is relaxing because I like New Orleans jazz and Zydeco Blues. You won't get that at Bojangles' restaurants.”

“I had a hankering for some ice cream so went to downtown New Bern to visit the Cow Cafe on Middle Street. A small homey shop with a hand written main menu serving handmade ice creams made on site. They also serve some fine meal items if you are there for a full dining experience. I ordered a Chocolate Mint Sundae with 2 scoops and the whipped cream and cherry. I was surprised by the large scoops of ice cream with a little chocolate fudge topping, plus the generous whipped cream, a little chocolate syrup lightly drizzled on top, and the cherry, of course. Had to dig in quickly so it wouldn't melt over the sides of the dish. Very creamy, cool, and tasty.”

“We had lunch at The Chelsea and it was absolutely delicious. Our waitress was so kind. We had the fried green tomatoes (my favorite food of all time) and they were to die for. I followed that with the BLT (like I said, fried green tomatoes FOREVER) and it was perfect. The house chips are crisp and delightful. The setting of this restaurant is so charming. We had lunch among a room full of southern women celebrating another trip around the sun and it made me wish I lived here and could also grow older while eating the fried green tomatoes on a regular basis. Highly, highly recommend The Chelsea.”

“I don't go to taco bell often but I was craving a power bowl. I add lettuce and get rid of the rice and beans to make it a salad. That was the BEST power bowl I've had from any taco bell. They even separated the lettuce from the chicken so it wouldn't get soggy. The gentleman through the drive thru was super nice and friendly. Absolutely delicious.”
