“What is not to like about Wee Winks? This is the perfect one stop shop in Duck, NC. Their selection of beer, wine and cheeses was all I needed to make a charcuterie board and pair it with excellent wine and beer. Also, great selection on breakfast and lunch to go. Everything in the store is well stocked and organized. Felt pretty safe inside, and much better than going to a big supermarket with tons of people around and long waiting lines.”

“Excellent little Deli. They have good food options. Their staff is helpful, friendly and quick. They are located on the east side of Duck Road ( Hwy 12). They have plenty of parking. They get pretty busy in the summer, but it's easy to get in there in the off-season.”

“We always love our coffee stops while on the island. They start with a great bean and they brew it exceptionally well. I'm especially a big fan of their cold brew coffee. The granola and yogurt had been a long time favorite on a hot summer morning. The biscuits are large, fluffy, and delicious. There is nothing on the menu that I can't recommended. The atmosphere is very much in the name, treehouse, with both indoor and outdoor seating.”

“We dined at Heart with our kids while on vacation in Duck and it was fantastic! The service was excellent and the food just as good. The ambiance was just what we were looking for - nice and relaxing, but not beach casual. The kids meals were on point - both of my kids had chicken poppers (can I get an amen for not cutting up chicken fingers?!). Main dishes were very good and a decent drink/wine menu. We will definitely return in the future.”

“Great pizza and drink options. Local beer on tap and good beer available in cans. Indoor and outdoor (boardwalk) seating overlooking the sound. We went here twice during our recent stay and didn't have to wait for seating either time, around 6 p.m. Helpful, friendly employees and a well-organized menu board, shown in the photo.”

“It was very good. A very different place. Everyone got something different to eat and everyone likes what they got. They also had an outdoor bar area that did not open till 5. That was very enjoyable. I highly suggest it. Lunch ran 10 to 12 dollars and we had five adults and two young kids.”

“We ordered chicken strips, burgers, and fries. Food was fast and delicious, service was great, too. Liked the old-fashioned decor, baby blue, pale yellow, and white, with little yellow duckies. Sounds childish, I know, but it's not. They have hard-dipped ice cream and old-fashioned milkshakes too. Highly recommend!”

“The staff was so friendly and helpful. The interior is a little dated, but the product is killer! Warm donuts on a stick with ice cream?! Yes, please! And don’t let the idea of a donut milkshake scare you. I was skeptical too, but it was kind of a cookies and cream texture, once the cookie gets soft. Total meal replacement!”

“On the way back from an off road trip, we stopped in for a bite to eat. The location is awesome with the water view and out door tables. The food and service were good. The prices are reasonable and the portions are good size. I am confident you won't leave hungry! We enjoyed the fish tacos and the fresh made guacamole. There is a ton of parking in the retail area. The restaurant is located in the back and can be difficult to find. Make sure you walk to find it. Enjoy!”

“Our group of 10 was wanting an outdoor venue where we could enjoy seafood as well as a view of the sunset. Our hostess got us a great table and was able to seat us right away. Our server Todd, was very friendly and took great care of us all night. He made our evening very enjoyable and went above and beyond in making our experience a good one. We thought the seafood, in both the appetizers and our entrees were all very delicious. Our group would strongly recommend this place.”

“The red snapper was really delicious. Any of the seafood, I believe, is a great bet here. The burgers and steaks in our party were also quite good. The crab cakes were very good. The service was excellent! The French fries were the only thing we really could not brag about- they were not very warm and were a little tough. The starters were excellent, including fried pickles, caramelized onion dip, hummus plate, and fish dip. Overall - a pleasant experience.”

“Would have been a 5-star experience if not for the rude customer service of the host/manager. 8 minutes late for 7:15 reservations, due to traffic coming from Nags Head and stopping outside for 3 minutes to take pictures, and he told us it was “7:30” and that he had to give our table away. Super smug like he wanted to punish us. The couples before and after us also had to wait on their reservation, including those who arrived on time. There were tables open from the time we arrived to the time we left. Seemed like a pretty transparent ploy to increase drink sales by making guests wait so they sit at the bar. Left a foul taste in my mouth as we made 7:15 reservations specifically to watch the sunset for our anniversary. Honor guests’ reservations. Aside from him, our waitstaff was fantastic. Made a great recommendation about the duck. The food was excellent and the view was fantastic.”
