Today, the lady kept her conversation going on the phone the whole time. GREAT JOB ???? Great customer service is really about customers perception. If you're busy on your phone, all that says to me is you're too busy to take care of me. We were there only ones in line, and the only customers in the restaurant. Put the phone down, or get someone else to take customers while you handle business.”

“We were coming through town from the beach and just happened to see this place when we stopped for gas. They were about to open and there was a line at the door - always a good sign! We decided to get some lunch and were not disappointed. The pork was simple - not overly smoked nor spiced, but just delicious. My wife said the collards may have been the best she's had. The baked beans and BBQ potatoes weren't my favorite, however. I am so glad we found this place and will definitely stop again.”

“It's amazing how just a few miles of distance can determine excellent pizza and food vs hardly edible rejects. This location gets it right! The food is fresh, hot, fills the whole pizza and is pretty evenly spread. The employees also do a good job of helping the customer find the best deals. I could have it delivered from another location, but it's well worth the further distance AND the inconvenience of picking it up, just to get fresh, hot, good food.”

“I just have a quick question. Does the fry seasoning come out of the employees pockets? Like, if they use too much in a day, they pay a fine or something? Because the past few times I've gone, they got nothing on them. And if you politely ask that THICK sista behind the counter if you could have some more, she looks at you like you asked her for twenty dollars. And you already owe her twenty dollars. It's actually pretty great. That's why I keep going back. My wife doesn't give me the attitude she used to.”

“I stopped at Hwy 55 on my way to and from a convention in Greensboro. The staff is personable and attentive. They remembered me from when I had been there two days prior and genuinely seemed to care about where I was coming from and how I was doing. “Very excited to have discovered this local gem! Be aware that chef Alex runs his restaurant a bit outside the norm so be sure to read his website and look at his hours. Because we didn't ... However, we got lucky to walk in for Sunday buffet dinner, and Alex welcomed us with open arms even though we didn't have reservations. Dinners are reservations only. My husband is a carnivore and loved the food! The 'meatloaf' and gravy were outstanding. The mashed sweet potatoes, noodles, zucchini bread, regular bread, roasted veggies, bean dish were a hit. Everything was tasty and we'll done. The buffet was gluten free. I'm excited to have found a place I can get healthy take out too. Also very personable and friendly.”

“OMG, Miguel and Carlos are amazing. I knew as soon as I met with them that I needed them to cater my wedding and hired them to host cocktail hour as well as service a plated dinner. Not only was the service timely and amazing, the food was delicious (braised short ribs in mushroom gravy & pork loin stuffed with apple and bacon). I was so happy to have a duet plate and knew I needed to socialize with my guests, but I just couldn't stop eating! Guests are still talking about my food and how delicious everything was! Friends and family are asking for recipes the food was so good and when I host another event, I will definitely be reaching out to Miguel and Carlos. I highly recommend.”

“This was one of the best McDonald's I've ever visited. The food was hot and fresh. And my order was completely right and everything was in the bag and I went through the drive-thru. And the people working at the window were very polite an efficient. When I go to Raleigh to my doctor's appointments I always go out of my way to stop and eat at that particular McDonald's because I can depend on them to have fresh food. I don't usually say much about a fast food place but this is one of the best McDonald's I've ever eat at. And anytime I've ever been inside it's been very clean as well. I don't know any of the staff personally but I've never run into one person in that place that was anything but friendly. And I've never had a wrong order which is very unusual for a fast food establishment of any kind.”
