“Our server Casey was very nice. However, she took her sweet old time doing anything. When I ordered a drink she was waiting at the bar for the drink with our appetizer. Why can’t you just come drop off the food then go back and get the drink? Same thing when my friend ordered a Sierra Mist. We ordered two Caesar salads which took a little bit, and when she brought them she finally came with the Sierra Mist too. Like I said she was nice, but definitely needs to pick up the pace.”

“Hillary and Jada are awesome Bartenders. Extremely polite, courteous and always upbeat. They ensure our beverages are always served cold and promptly. They take our food orders and make sure it’s correct, hot and too our likings. My wife and I been coming for over 10 years because of the service and being treated like family. The manager staff like John, Anthony, Rick and Leo are also worth mentioning. All of them are extremely friendly and care about their public relations. Also the door hosts like Bill are extremely polite and courteous. This restaurant sets the stage for all others to emulate. The quality of their food is off the charts and if something isn’t right, they’ll gladly fix it! The outside landscaping is always clean need and fresh. Great curb appeal.”

Tastes great everytime. They have plenty of other breakfast items and biscuits too, cheap. Even have oddballs like brains and eggs if you're feeling bold. Lunch is hit or miss. I've been enough times to say stay away from the hamburger steak, they're fries are pretty bland, and some other sides ain't no good, But the country steak is good, turkey and dressing on Thursdays is good, fish is always tasty, just some things for lunch are home made and some things are obviously canned or frozen. If you don't know, just ask the waitresses are all friendly. Great little local joint.”

“Classic case of not judging a book by its cover. The outside of the restaurant looks pretty sketchy, but we gave it a try anyway. I am so glad we did because the food was delicious!!! We have been back several times since then, and we always leave happy. The service has been excellent each time, and the server was incredibly attentive to all our needs. It is one of my favorite places to eat in Jacksonville, and the menu is extremely accommodating. There are gluten free sauce options as well, for those who may need that.
