I could tell the manager knew exactly how to handle this situation and responded perfectly. She knew how to ensure to the customer (myself) that the store could still provide anything and since the system would take some time to restart after losing power, the drink would be complimentary as to not take away and of my time. “I love the donuts but this location was a bit of a let down today. They were busy but only 1 employee was running the register and helping customers. She was visibly stressed and asked for help from co workers and got none. The donuts that were not hot and fresh looked old, the frosting was cracking showing their age.”

“If you like good ole', down home, southern cooking, and lots of it, this place is for you. The choices are too numerous and the portions are more than enough. But make sure you save room for dessert, there's always some great choices in desserts. The last time I was there there were at least 12 or more choices. And all of them looked fantastic! After a huge meal I had to stop myself from getting more than one. The service is excellent and the restaurant is always clean.”

“Stopped in to pick up chocolate and peanut butter ice for my moms bday. They were out of the prepacked, but happily packed a quart for me. Everyone was so nice and super helpful. It was around 7pm on a Monday and not busy. Parking was easy. Inside was clean and I appreciated the 80s pop music that happened to be playing while I was there.”

“Food is delicious. Portions are huge. Seriously, these slices are huge. Seating is very limited, so it's best to get it to go. Only reason I can't give 5 stars is there is no kids menu, and it's annoying to have to order a $12 huge order of spaghetti for a 3 year old. Granted you have leftovers, but if you are out and about for the day, it's not ideal and has prevented us from going for lunch some times.”

“I usually like Bruegger's Bagels in Wakefield. I pass other bagel places on my way to Bruegger's just to get their bagels because I think they are better. Early Sunday morning is when I like to go because it is less crowded, the bagels are still warm and, well...it's Sunday morning. Over the last months I've been disappointed several times because they are out of the most popular bagel...everything bagels. The last two times in a row unfortunately. The person in line ahead of me also had the same complaint "Two days in a row No Everything Bagel's" I let the staff know that I was disappointed and they were polite enough and apologized explaining that "The everything bagels go so fast" but I still had no Sunday morning bagels. I thought to myself...If a bagel shop owner knows that a certain flavor bagel sells much faster than the others why wouldn't they make enough of that particular flavor to meet the constant demand? Sure, there were other bagel flavors available but lots of us like everything bagels and that's why they are sometimes out of them. If this was an isolated experience I would not have taken the time to post this review. In fact this is the first Google review I've ever written. I just thought if nobody says anything the manager may not know to do something about it.”
