The price are extremely reasonable, and the quality is unmatched. I watched him help customers with were not knowledgeable about certain vegetables and he gave them advice on how to cook them. He and the staff will help you with your groceries to your car. That is so refreshing, like the old days. “This shawarma place has just opened! It’s located in the same building as Checkers pizza. First, the customer service was great, the man I spoke with couldn’t have been nicer. The meal wasn’t too expensive, and portion size is good. I hadn’t had shawarma before, so I can’t speak to authenticity, but it was delicious! Perfectly cooked, and the meat plus sauce and pickles was a delightful flavor combo. I also got to try the rice which was exceptionally flavorful, the chicken kebab which was tasty as well. I was provided a few sauces to try and I would recommend them all! For dessert I tried the baklava and I’ve gotta say it’s some of the best I’ve had in Raleigh. This new spot is awesome and a great addition to the myriad of restaurants on Hillsborough street. Highly recommend checking it out!”
