And then when you get to the cash register you can see the cooks working and your mouth starts watering immediately. You place your order, you go get your drinks. Then you notice they have a nice selection of condiments and barbecue sauces that you can arrange while you anxiously anticipate your name being called to retrieve your order. Once you hear your name it is like the whole world is silent for a moment as you realize you have been chosen to receive a great meal. Has you pick up your tray savoring every inch of your meal you walk it to your table as you feel honored to carry such a meal to a table. You sit down and you still can't help but look at this wholesome plate of goodness that you have received. Then the most difficult choice is facing you; where do you start? Sometimes you just want to go grab a quick burger from McDonalds, or Burger King, or Wendy's, and these are not the end-all be-all of hamburgers, but sometimes they are comforting. I enjoy these types of hibachi places for similar reasons: They are quick, reliable, affordable, and if you go to another "Japan Express" in another town, you can typically expect both places to be fairly consistent with regards to both quality of food, and menu selection.”

Upon visiting the website I was very happy with the user experience, though a bit disheartened that Sandy Forks Road. is outside the delivery zone. I settled on a classic cheese pizza with fresh basil. I figured if they're calling themselves "Manhattan" Pizza then I have to see what the classic cheese tastes like. Hot damn! They did not disappoint. The fresh tomato and basil flavors complimented with the cheese and dough. So simple yet so delicious. I'll definitely be coming back!”

“My family and I were recently at Toot N Tell for early dinner and boy were we happy we stopped in. We ate off the buffet and there's a lot of good food to be had there. The fried chicken was honestly the best I've had since my Grandmother's and my wife also raved about it. Our daughter ate a whole plate of mixed entrees and she especially liked the chicken and dumplings. The desserts were fantastic and clearly all made on site with pride. The lemon cake and strawberry cake were very good and the chocolate pie and banana pudding were as good as I've had in a long long time. The decor is nothing to write home about but it's what you'd expect from a hometown restaurant that's been in business for 50 years or more. While its look is dated everything was clean. But probably the most important thing about this restaurant was how friendly and kind everyone working there was. And folks let me tell you after working in a variety of food service and retail operations from Mom and Pop sized to mega stores when employees are that friendly that means they're happy and the ownership is doing right by them. If you looking for down home cooking stop in Toot N Tell, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.”

“I recently hosted a Family Reunion (30-40) at my home. Carolina Barbecue of Garner was the caterer. I gladly give them a 5 star rating because everything went perfect from the initial contact with the caterer to the time the food was delivered. It arrived at the scheduled time, was well prepared and hot. There were some items I was not expecting, i.e. ice for the tea; and an appetizer. The guests were extremely pleased with the food and asked for the name of the caterer, which I was pleased to provide. “Our family loves LC and the one on our side of town closed so we come here. Lately the employees have seemed to slack off. I say this because my husband and I swapped out waiting for our food so I could take the kids to the car and he watched the employee at the front counter give away our order. When he asked where our food was (because people after us had come and gone) he watched said employee go tell the on shift supervisor that she gave away our order “because the lady left.” They immediately parceled our other orders to make up for ours but I don’t know what happened here because a few months ago this place was busy and bustling.”

The food is always great, even the salsa is usually top notch. Food is nice and affordable too!
