“Hawaiian Style is a food truck that recently made the jump to brick & mortar kitchen by moving into the Rodeo Corner convenience store. The menu consists primarily of Kahlua pork, teriyaki chicken, and teriyaki steak - served with macaroni salad and sticky rice. They also have tasty burgers made with local beef, and you can even sometimes order musubi or loco moco (oh, and the fried okra is top shelf). There are a few small tables, so you can eat there like I did today, but understand that even though it’s a nice space by convenience store standards, it’s still in a no-frills convenience store, so don’t go expecting any different Lee and his crew work hard to get your food out fast, hot, and fresh. Give them a try if you live in Guthrie/Edmond or if you’re driving down I-35! You won’t regret it!”

“It’s was just ok. I feel like they have a lot of kinks to still work out. Or maybe drinks are more their thing. We both got the burger baskets to try & keep it on the cheaper side. We don’t have a lot of extra money to eat out but we wanted to try the new place. I want to be supportive but it just wasn’t that great. The fries were ok, they were seasoned like Arby’s fries but waffle shaped. My husband got the truffle fries and I tried one. They taste like garlic, Parmesan fries. Now to the burgers….they were just thick and dry & maybe they haven’t figured out how they are going to do their burgers yet. Because I heard a lot of different things about them. They don’t put the sauce on the burger but that’s ok. However, I don’t understand why they put a pickle ON TOP OF THE BURGER? Why? It kind of makes an already soggy situation, even soggier when you are ordering to go. My husband asked for an extra patty and all the veggies on his. He gives it 3 stars as well. There was a $5 tip automatically added. Not sure why, for a to go order…… bringing our total to $35 for an ok burger. When I called the order in, the ordering process was not smooth at all but I understand they’re new and probably still are training. I’m not sure if we will be back. They need to consider lowering their prices or raising their quality. Edit: 2 hours later & we are hungry again. It’s like a burger you make at home & sometimes you need 2 to be satisfied. We have tried a lot of burger places in Tulsa and around the Drumright area. We have found much better for the same price or less.”

“My aunt is from Louisiana and put my husband and I onto this spot. Today we stopped by for the first time and it was delicious! I’m from the east coast, so of course I tried the crab cake and I was blown away. It was probably the best one I’ve ever had. We ordered the shrimp Alfredo and that was so flavorful and had a nice spice. The boudin ball was spectacular as well. This place will definitely become one we frequent, staff is super sweet as well! “I'm not being biased because it's in our home town but because the food is fresh. She makes her hamburger buns, sandwich bread, fresh meat, not prefrozen meat Patties, fresh okra and hand cut fries. Everything else I seen passed out looked plentiful and delicious. They serve fresh homemade desserts and you should see the size of her cinnamon rolls 😳. The staff is friendly and it's clean. The new menu item of Khao Soi was pretty authentic and had a nice addition of star anise flavors similar to masaman curry. The Spicy Basil Noodles though were very Americanized and far from the flavors usually found in the dish having more of a bottled sauce flavor.”
