“This is a nice family-owned restaurant on Hwy 126 (McKenzie Hwy) in the Willamette National Forest. It serves lunch and dinner (breakfast has been discontinued). The food is good and the tater tots are perfectly crispy. They batter their fries, which I like. I usually order the BBQ chicken chopped salad, chicken strips, or pizza. Salad bar is temporarily unavailable. Prices are reasonable and the staff are all friendly locals. It also has a gift shop. Great place for refreshment when traveling on Hwy 126, with a gas station, mini-market, lodging, and activities center nearby.”

The menu describes some of the process, but if you're confused you will need to ask for a tutorial as one is not offered. Lots of options on the menu and a small bar of serve yourself accoutrements were very nice. The restaurant was dead silent when my party of three arrived and it was a bit awkward, music would be nice. The overall experience was okay and I plan on trying this place again soon.”

We have eaten here over the years infrequently as we do not live in this town. And I recall enjoying myself every time. This time it seemed like the staff were tired. I ordered scrambled eggs with ham and cheese. I felt like I had ordered scrambled cheese with egg and ham. Too much cheese. I ordered coffee with cream and sugar which they mixed for me. The coffee was extremely weak with too much sugar. I asked if I could have another And I was told that I would have to pay for another cup. It wasn't the best experience.”
