“The Observatory wasn't what was expected. In my opinion, it was better. A small, quirky, restaurant with separate bar and outside eating areas, it's atmosphere is inviting. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and down to earth. The food is amazing! Well worth the moderate price. I had the Lamb burger medium rare and my friend had the Elk burger also medium rare. We shared. Both were cooked to perfection and both were so good we could not stop eating! We also had ordered the Oregano fry bread which was superb. Another hole in the wall to add to my list of favorite places to eat.”

“Whether the enchantment was from the quality of the food or the first sit down restaurant experience in the past two years is hard to say - perhaps both. The food is excellent and worth the (slightly higher than order up) price. The spring rolls are the best I've ever had, period. One of owners spoke humbly of the spring roll wrapping, but just as much magic is found within. Very highly recommended for the food robots alone (are they going to tax those things like people, or what?!). What a wonderful experience.”

“Fireside was excellent. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor each table has a heater, indoor there are several fireplaces and the whole ambiance was quite inviting. The food, however, was amazing. My entire party had the NY Strip and it was wonderful. It comes with delicious sauce and carrots. We were able to get seated right away inside (requires proof of vaccination). The staff was super friendly and we had a great experience overall!”

Suddenly I go in and the bartender Brittany I don't recognize her but she asked me to leave and says she's not gonna serve me. It was interesting because never been cut off or asked to leave this bar or any bar for that matter. Like I said been a lot of casinos and bars and all kinds of States and cities and towns but never been asked to leave a single place but this one. At 32 years old it makes you question some things About this one particular bartender.”

“If there IS some sort of spiritual paradise on the other side of all this, and if that place had a restaurant, it would probably look a lot like Lazy Susan. Everything about this lovely little brunch spot is executed perfectly. Somehow simultaneously modern yet classic, cozy yet airy and open, minimal but oh so satisfying. It is all so effortlessly kept in beautiful balance that one can’t help but lean back and just relax. Enjoy the experience. If you don’t, you did it wrong. I had the burger. Again, an absolute classic. Like the burger that all other burgers everywhere esteem to be. Served with crispy, addictive hash brown patties that are worth the price of admission alone. My partner had an exceptional vegetable hash. I loved that there were thumbnail sized slivers of gently sautéed garlic mixed in with all the super seasonal veggies. The Bloody Mary is a must if you’re doing that. If the coffee were served anywhere else in the same way (bottomless, vintage mug) I would have expected something more like coffee-flavored water. But this stuff was strong and potent, and just like the rest of our experience - perfect.”

I forget the name of the dish I chose but it was absolutely delicious! Good portions, yummy food, very affordable. Next time it's been suggested I try the Montavilla Roll. Clearly I'm going to have to visit several times as their vegan menu is rather extensive which doesn't always happen when s place has vegan options.”

“I tried their German style Pilsner. Very crisp and pleasing. I cannot attest to the quality of their IPA, though I was tempted to try. Great food. Great service. Would give 5/5, but Redwood Curtain Brewing exists and so far it cannot be matched. At the Cascade Station satellite pub, the ambiance was akin to an upper class fast food restaurant, though I am sure the original brewery is more to boast about. I dig the wild boar taxidermy here though.”
