“The Pumpkin Patch is a GREAT place to visit on your own, or bring the entire family. It somehow feels like home. There is a farm store that sells amazingly great produce that's all grown on Sauvie Island, they have frozen grass-fed beef products raised on the island, a great gift shop, a tiny zoo, and during the holiday season, a huge corn "maize" (maze), and places to get lots of seasonal treats (corn on the cob, fresh-made kettle corn, elephant ears, etc.), as well as the usual pumpkin patches, hayrides, etc. There's also a dining area that's open the entire time the Pumpkin Patch is open (early Summer through Fall) that offers great food and refreshments at very low prices. Parking at The Pumpkin Patch does not require a Sauvie Island parking permit, which is a nice touch.”

“Easily this is one of the better places to shop and E in the city of Portland. I have been visiting this place since it opened and the food carts are always top notch. The owners of the meat store and the market are amazing. The way that the owners are trying to bring about cultural knowledge of Hispanics. It is a vibrant place to visit with delicious food from all Latin-American cultures. My favorite taco places are the blue one on the end and the yellow 1 on the other end. Definitely give this place a visit.”

“I come here for dessert at least once a month. There's a great variety but the raspberry gateau is to die for! Dense, dark chocolate and light fresh raspberries. I've tried a few other cakes that are delicious as well! Tiny little place in southeast, but worth it for the ambiance and dessert. Or order to go! But definitely check out the cake/ dessert display when you're in there!”

“So delicious! All the bubble tea is vegan and made with coconut milk. The tea is so creamy and full of flavor. I got the honey lavender and my husband got the original milk tea. Both with boba and both were amazing. There is a ton of seating and the environment is great with plants and cool lights. This is our new favorite bubble tea place, and we will definitely be returning.”

“Bob's Red Mill oatmeal for $1.75 ???? every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday after the gym. You will not find a better price on steel cut oatmeal anywhere - even the Red Mill Cafe in Milwaukie. And the breakfast sandwiches hand made with care by Ronnie are great. ????”

“I’ve been wanting to check this place out for a while, but with everything shut down, that seemed impossible. But then I thought of them for the perfect picnic fare and I was not disappointed! Online ordering is super easy, and pick up is safe as can be. Feels good to support small and local in these times. The tea sandwiches are both delicious and darling, the scones are top notch, and to-go orders are thoughtfully packed, including moistened towels to keep sandwiches moist. Can’t wait to come back and check out the darling dining area.”

“Great breakfast. Nice people. Drip coffee was a bit bitter for my taste, but the matcha latte was great! ???? Indoor and outdoor seating, including bar seating inside by the window. Not much of a view, but nice on a cold or rainy day.”

“Great lunch/brunch spot. Restaurant is small and a bit loud, but very homey feel. I ordered the danish pancakes, hot dog, and daily soup which was split pea and bacon. The danish pancakes were fluffy and delicious! The hot dog tasted good, but it was very messy to eat which was frustrating. There were also too many pickled vegetables- they were very overpowering and also not listed in the ingredients on the menu. The soup was delicious and hearty with just the right amount of carrots and bacon.”

“It was quick ordering and quick to pay. Not recommended if you have multiple people in the same car that want different things, it takes a while. But food was decent like McDonalds is. Pretty good McDonalds.”

“Always super friendly staff. Yummy drinks. Coffee is great and organic. My favorite drink is their rose matcha. Sandwiches are simple and good, probably the best is the grilled cheese and add on bacon or tomato or both! Great vibe.. plenty of room to hang out with a friend or study date. Grab a table and a puzzle ( they have a bunch) and stay for a few hours.”

“Got an annual for my Surly. Got it back the same day. My baby shines! But more important, the gears are so freaking true. I can use everyone and the shifting is crisp and sure. The staff were all great and responsive answered my questions and got the job done on time as promised. I love that it’s walking distance from where I live making it really convenient.”

“Cute little bistro in the middle of a pretty residential area. The food choices are not vast but what they do offer is prepared well. I had a soup and salad combo and everything tasted nice. It was served with some bread and butter as well. The pricing is also fine, for the quantity provided. Its a nice cosy spot to visit with a friend for a meal. The decor inside is eclectic with antiques and curios, a kind of vibe that I like. My server was very friendly.”

“It used to be more Bohemian with music in the evenings but now it's the closest to Bohemian you can get nearby with some very kind staff. Black Sheep Bakery is an old Portland standard that never disappoints. The fact of their coffee being alright and their service great as well as diverse comfortable seating and print media is a plus. I do miss evenings at the former venue which is what brings the rating down from 5.”

“It's like Christmas morning in the form of food. Words can't really explain how amazing this place is! My family and I went to Proud Mary's for our birthday brunch and simply couldn't stop talking about how amazing our experience was. Be prepared, there is likely ALWAYS going to be a line/wait but it is well worth it! It's always a bit of a gamble when there is a long wait, hoping its THAT good... well it is!! The atmosphere is fun and inviting. It is a bit different in the sense that there are some shared tables, it's cool, make new friends!! Each family member had a different dish and each one was simply delicious. The flavors, rich ingredients and true art from the chefs was apparent and lend itself to the fact that this is probably one of the best brunches I've ever had. Menu is full of many different options from sweet to savory, all of which you want to try a bite of each!! Bloody Mary was so good, oatmeal was out of this world, pancakes were perfect and that is barely scratching the surface. Rose was our waitress and she was wonderful. Super kind and really sweet. At the end of our meal we were all so impressed that we went up to the chefs in the cool open kitchen set up to not only thank them for sharing their amazing art but also to give them a standing ovation!! Don't take my word for it, go try it for yourself. You won't be sorry!”

“Good, straightforward bubble tea. Not the biggest menu, but can’t complain about that too much from a street vendor also serving other options late at night. We tried the taro pearl milk tea and enjoyed it. Definitely on the sweeter side, even when asking to have it made “less sweet.” Otherwise good experience, though the vendor could have been a little bit nicer!”

“This McDonald’s is usually accurate with orders and quick. Often though I’m forced to park on the waiting space for 5+ minutes for my meal. The line is always long because it’s so popular. It’s a good McDonald’s, and always our go-to. Easy parking.”

“Loved the Whole Farm burger so much we bought one to share and decided to go back for a second. We’d drive back to Sauvie Island just to eat here again because it’s really that good! Add to that the atmosphere, shops, produce, etc that’s available onsite. Can’t wait to go back!”

“The place was not clean no where to sit. My soup was pure broth no chicken no noodles. My daughter's salad was super dry. I wasn't able to get a different soup without a hassle so I just ate salad and left. The establishment in Vancouver is nicer cleaner and great service. Krep in mind we ate here at approx 830pm. Not impressed.”

“Custom made bacon quarter pounder with cheese. Fresh, hot, and delicious! McDonald's has stepped up their game by offering fresh, never frozen, patties. And unlike many fast food burger joints, my bun is never smashed and soggy. The only gripe I had with this location was the fact that there were many transients hanging around inside and some had pets with them and were trying to keep them concealed. I question the cleanliness and allowing this behavior.”

“Some of the best fried chicken in Portland. SERIOUSLY. Real deal collards. The kind of fried okra you want to never end... and I lived in Georgia for years, so I consider myself an authority. Their breading is a cornmeal mix so it was never greasy or overly salty. The MAC was INSANE. I loved their ribs. And really, beyond great comfort food and will make you happy the people at Po’Shines are truly sincere and kind. I can’t recommend this place enough.”
