“I originally was going to go to Matt's BBQ next to this truck, but; they had sold out. Thank goodness! This place is wonderful! Some of the most flavorful food cart food I've ever eaten; She could only get better in a permanent location. The lemongrass Thai peanut sauce on the chicken was transcending... It has so much flavor. Simply delicious. The Laotian beef jerky was also very good. Deep Asian fusion flavors of garlic and fish sauce with a bit of heat on the back note. The coconut shrimp were good, but I did not care for the remulade dipping sauce. I felt it over garliced and took away from the shrimp. I give everything a 9 in total. I'll definitely be back.”

“One of my favorite burger spots in Portland, especially their Cheeseburger. The bun, meat, cheese, veggies, and special sauce just make the perfect combo. I usually add some fries and a Mexican Coke to make it a meal. The fries are just ok. All about the burgers here. I have eaten here a while ago, probably early last year but I never posted a review, I was just speaking to my husband about their food and decided to come write a review for them, so that must mean their food is good. “I lived in NE Portland for a short stint, and I can definitively say that Rico’s Burritos was the best part about my time in the PNW. The Mexican food here is the absolute bees knees: my favorites are the pastor burrito, Chile relleno breakfast burrito, and chicken breakfast burrito (they’ll add whatever protein to the breakfast burrito– just ask!). Coming from LA where Mexican food abounds, this place hit the spot and then some, beating out most of my favorite spots from the homeland. The owners are so kind and the food so good, this is a local gem that is severely underlooked and under-appreciated. Pack your sh*t, get in the car, and get to Rico’s ASAP.”

What's nice is there's a hiking trail along the river if you enjoy hikes. “Nearly all of the reviews about this hidden gem indicate that this is not an ideal place to go. As of this morning, 15 April 2021, I can tell you that THIS IS NOT THE CASE!! The menu selection is just what you need for a quick bite of food. I had an English muffin breakfast sandwich (made to order) and some fresh fruit, along side a sugar-free Redbull. Coffee, cappuccino, espresso etc are available and soft drinks are plentiful. This cafe is not a huge establishment so seating is not available do to stupid Covid, but hauling your items back to the hotel is easy and quick. There is also the river to watch as you eat your food and drink your coffee. I watched the Portland weather report while I waited for my turn in line. I'm at the hotel next door (Rivers Edge) and just passing through. You should definitely check this place out. It is always good to support the little guy, especially now during these 'uncertain' times. To the owner: Thank you very much for the excellent experience! I'll see you in May, when I pass through again!”
