“4 stars because the baristas are gems & customer service has been good. Our drink orders have been messed up several times, usually they are correct when I order ahead on the app. This morning the batista actually recognized that my order had been put in incorrectly & verbally confirmed the correct order with me before making the drink, I really appreciated that. This location gets very busy but the baristas do their best. The cleanliness of this location definitely gets zero stars, needs some major clean up!!!”

“This is one amazing place. Incredibly rich history extremely well presented through markers and a print guide. This is a hike though lava need terrain, so it's not flat, and you need good shoes. There is a .5 Mile version and a 1.5 mile version of the hike. Most of the historically significant markers are on the short hike, but the extended juke has a lot of way cool terrain that i personally enjoyed more.”

“Just wow! Recently discovered this place and I can't say enough about how great it is! The breakfast burrito is absolutely delicious and massive. The special I had today was a pomegranate pork burrito, which was incredibly unique and tasted amazing. The owner is as friendly as it gets and I felt their passion for the restaurant they take purpose in. If you haven't tried this wonderful gem of a cafe just go do it. “This place is close to Lithia Park. It is so cute, and they have a big selection of tea and tea cups. I was surprised that they even carry one of my favorite teas of all time, the sticky rice pu’er. They brew all of their teas fresh. I ordered a bubble tea and a rooibos chai. The bubble tea was nothing special, and the bobas didn’t taste that great. The chai was the best chai I’ve tasted in different coffee and tea shops all over the country. It makes a huge difference that it’s high quality and freshly brewed, vs in most places they make it from concentration. I love that all their drinks are so fresh tasting and not too sweet. If I live in Ashland I would come here all the time!”

“I want to acknowledge the phone attendant that took my order this morning 7/10 at 7:40, whose sound training showed. It started by some frustration being in line in the drive-through for much longer than usual. As I was ready to give my order I was asked to wait, which took a long time, and after the car ahead of me moved on, I followed without giving my order. After apologizing, the attendant gave me a reason (“one of our machine is broken, can you believe it?”) in a lighthearted tone which immediately calmed me down, from being close to irate to becoming totally understanding. A way to handle a difficult situation that should find its way in all good customer service training!”

“This was the first Human Bean location I visited. It happened when I took a middle of the night, 5 hour spontaneous roadtrip North and ended up in Oregon. What a great discovery, this simple yet cute coffee kiosk was and thank goodness there are locations in several different cities in Oregon and in the Northern parts of California, beyond the Bay Area. The customer service is always met with a smile! :) Each time I have a chance to visit a city in Oregon, this little coffee place is on the agenda. It's cool that they try to give back and care about causes too!”

“I always get some iteration of a chai latte. It's always good. Most days excellent. I really appreciate the consistency. It takes a lot of stress off knowing my coffee is going to be good every time. Friendly staff. Comfortable seating. Outdoor seating available. “We stayed in Jacksonville for 4th of July weekend… came to this little coffee shop almost everyday. If you’re driving by or staying nearby, check them out… yummy, super cute, friendly staff. You can order at the drive thru, eat it on their little patio or drive up to Buckley park about 1/2 a mile away and enjoy your coffee and snacks by the river. We had their coffee hot & iced, pickle lemonade, two-top nachos, breakfast burritos, bagels and their soft served cones”
