Giuseppe's Pizzeria

Address: 268 Freeport Rd, Blawnox, PA 15238, USA

Restaurant

“My new favorite pizza shop in the area. I had a large pepperoni and it was loaded with cheese and a little salty…just how I like it.”

Pho and Roll Vietnamese Kitchen

Address: 216 N Highland Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15206, USA

Restaurant

“Pretty good! Soups were very filling and tasty. The fried tofu was terrific. I had a spring roll, which my kids shared, and we all loved it. I wish I had tried a few other rolls, but I can only eat so much. The one staff person we interacted with was friendly. We went on a Wednesday, and it was not crazy busy, but there was a steady stream of patrons. The place looked clean and the decor was very attractive and interesting. I would definitely go back. Would like to try the Vietnamese wings.”

Sia's Garden Grown

Address: 220 N Highland Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15206, USA

Restaurant

“Sia’s has quickly become my favorite place to eat in Pittsburgh! I’ve had the cauliflower mufuletta probably 10+ times and it’s an absolute masterpiece! Well-balanced flavors, super fresh, and the portions are perfect. The sandwiches are hefty, and that’s exactly how I like them. The dill potato salad is also straight delish! I’ve brought a lot of family here and they have really enjoyed it too 😊 the owners, Anthony and Diana are awesome folks. Very kind, mellow, and welcoming. And the restaurant has an airy, relaxed atmosphere that I’ve enjoyed dining in while getting some work done. Highly highly recommend making a visit. I haven’t found another place in Pittsburgh that has this kind of food and vibe! 😁😋🙏🏽”

Fresh Prep Pgh

Address: 6515 Saltsburg Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15235, USA

Restaurant

“Excellent smoothies!”

Beto's Tacos

Address: 100 Fifth Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, USA

Restaurant

“I love the tacos from this place 🌮 in particular the birria quesadilla comes with a side of “consome”where you can dunk it in the traditional way! 👀 the rice that accompanies the taco is very tasty too and the price is great! without saying that the service is angelic ❤️”

@ Eleven Wings & Cuisines

Address: 100 Fifth Ave, Entrance on, Graeme St, Pittsburgh, PA 15219, USA

Restaurant

Mad chicken

Address: 535 Liberty Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, USA

Restaurant

“Stumbled upon this chicken joint and let me tell you it was the best chicken sandwich and "mad fries" The chicken was incredibly moist and the portion size was very large. Price was super cheap for downtown Pittsburgh. The total came out to be what you would pay for a drive-through sandwich. You can taste of the chicken is fresh and good quality. A true hole in the wall and totally worth every second”

Café Momentum Pittsburgh

Address: 268 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, USA

Restaurant

“We were looking for a great dinner out in Pittsburgh, and Cafe Momentum delivered!! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Things to know before you go: 1. The food is absolutely FANTASTIC!! So flavorful and beautiful. There are some dishes that stay on the menu and others that change based on what the chefs find that week. My husband had the smoked fried chicken and he enjoyed the unique combination. I had the pork chop with buttered popcorn grits and I had to restrain myself from licking the plate! 2. The servers are interns, young men and women learning new skills, so if you go in with the right expectation, you'll have an enjoyable evening. I suggest reading up on CM's mission on their website! 3. The restaurant is BYOB (the interns can't serve alcohol) and I don't think they have soft drinks. They do have still, sparkling, or bottled water, and the adult staff can serve you whatever you bring along. Overall I enjoyed Cafe Momentum so much - the warm lovely atmosphere, divinely delicious food, and wonderful mission it's based on are spectacular.”

The Warren Bar & Burrow

Address: 245 7th St, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, USA

Restaurant

“Justin the bartender was awesome. I had him make drinks of his choice and he came up with some delicious bourbon based cocktails. He has his own concoctions that are great! We were in town on vacation and looked for a small local bar with local vibes. This place was perfect, even being downtown in a tourist area. Highly recommend stopping in for a drink or two. Thanks Justin, Cheers!”

Gyro Guys

Address: Sixth Avenue &, Wood St, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, USA

Restaurant

“Needed a quick lunch while running an errand downtown. Noticed this food truck on Wood Steet and the photos of the food looked great. Talked to Wajdi the owner and he was very friendly and walked me through what he had. Picked the halal chicken on rice with salad. Let me just say the lunch was awesome, great spice and taste and the quantity filled me up and I felt satisfied. If you are in town and want something found in Manhattan but now in Pittsburgh, then visit this food truck for sure. I will try the lamb next time I go and the falafel.”

Pasha Breakfast & Lounge

Address: 808 Ivy St fl 1, Pittsburgh, PA 15232, USA

Restaurant

Madero Cantina

Address: 5505 Walnut St 2nd floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15232, USA

Restaurant

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Madero Cantina, where the culinary delights were a highlight and the ambiance created a pleasant atmosphere. However, I couldn’t help but notice some hiccups in the service. While the food was unquestionably excellent, our experience was slightly marred by a bit of an odd service situation. When we first arrived, a waiter promptly greeted us, but a different server took our orders. What struck me as slightly uncoordinated was that the initial waiter returned after a considerable wait to inquire about our order status. This minor confusion aside, the flavorful cuisine and overall enjoyable setting made the visit a positive one.”

KuJiRa Sushi & Bar

Address: 736 Bellefonte St, Pittsburgh, PA 15232, USA

Restaurant

“Love the food and atmosphere! Great service as well! Sushi lover’s heaven with such a fair price! Highly recommend their chicken wings and squid sushi! Will definitely come again with friends and family.”

Sultaan’s Bowls and Wraps

Address: 4600 Fifth Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, USA

Restaurant

“Solid little food truck for Mediterranean meals. Essentially everything is made in house (although, I’m not sure about the bread/tortilla/pita). I tried the tandoori chicken wrap as well as a dessert wrap. The tandoori chicken wrap was good. A bit small maybe, but still solid. The chicken itself is nicely spiced; it is definitely flavorful, maybe even a bit too spicy for me. Good texture, well cooked. I asked for mine without lettuce. The tomatoes were juicy and very good as well. There’s nothing really special about the bread. Just average. The sauce was good as well, nice kick. The dessert pita was interesting. It had a lot of nuts, bit of coconut, Nutella, chocolate spread, and maybe a few other things as well. Kind of a random concoction of sweet items in a tortilla. It’s good, and I really liked the Nutella especially. But, a bit odd and the tortilla tasted somewhat stale. All in all, a solid spot. Decent prices, okay portions. Quality halal food that’s made by the owner.”

BAO (CMU)

Address: 400 S Craig St, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, USA

Restaurant

“I recommend trying the pork soup dumplings and the water celery with tofu. I do NOT recommend the basil chicken, as it has too many bones, making it difficult to eat, and it doesn’t have much meat. Grapes fruit tea with milky foam is was alright 2.5/5. It was too plain, and the milky foam is not as good as other places.”

CHiKN

Address: 411 S Craig St, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, USA

Restaurant

“Please DO NOT get the Damn Hot flavor. It got an order of damn hot tenders. It is incredibly, incredibly spicy to the point where my fingertips burned my eyes when I was putting in my contacts even days later. All it causes is suffering and pain. And I am pretty good at handling my spice. Never have I ever had so much hubris, I regret all my decisions. The chicken overall is pretty average, not the crispiest but not awful. The place is really clean and has nice seating even though I got take out. The ordering is done through an order tablet, which makes it so convenient!”

iNoodle

Address: 4902 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, USA

Restaurant

“The boba is okay and so is the food. There could be more vegetable options. The biggest issue is how crowded it gets! It's a popular place for lunch.”

The Underground

Address: Morewood Gardens, 1060 Morewood Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, USA

Restaurant

“Nice renovated spot on campus. Cheap coffee (and probably other food too). Not as crowded as other spots on campus, so it's a nice area to hang out.”

Au Bon Pain

Address: 5000 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“Food review of The Good Egg Sandwich (without avocado) The yolks of the fried eggs were the perfect texture, so soft that if they were cooked slightly less then they would be runny; the cheddar selected had a slightly smoky, meaty flavor that complimented the eggs well; the tomatoes, spinach, and lemon aioli sauce harmonized with all the other flavors perfectly; its only flaw was that the ingredients kept falling off, but that is user error and not the fault of the expert artisans of Au Bon Pain.”

The Exchange Restaurant

Address: 1st Floor, Posner Hall, 4980 Margaret Morrison St, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, USA

Restaurant

“The finest food experience on CMU's campus. Well worth the trip. Friendly knowledgeable staff, pleasant atmosphere.”

The Edge Cafe & Market

Address: 5125 Margaret Morrison St, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, USA

Restaurant

“Best pizza in Pittsburgh! Super friendly staff and amazing food”

Dollzsc

Address: 2119 Park Hill Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15221, USA

Restaurant

Jersey Mike's Subs

Address: 3975 William Penn Hwy, Monroeville, PA 15146, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“Yesterday, I had a hellish experience at an unnamed sub shop. My family decided to chance this place, as it had great reviews. Best decision ever. The food is good, the service is good, everyone is friendly. My only complaint is that the food is a little pricy, so we can't afford to do this often, but it will be a nice treat when we do. PS: try the rosemary parmesan bread!”

Ebbie’s Craft Kitchen and Catering

Address: 4366 Old William Penn Hwy, Monroeville, PA 15146, USA

Restaurant

“Ebbie’s hosted my bridal shower brunch, and everything from the space to the food to the staff made it perfect! Highly recommend. DELICIOUS food (caprese chicken crostinis, bacon, quiches, French toast casserole, and much more), really great displays and options for our bar mixers, really clean and bright and adorable space, and the team provided really nice touches from the entrance sign to flowers on tables and more.”

Poco loco at Dormont Pool Concession Stand

Address: 1801 Dormont Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15216, USA

Restaurant

“The food here was decent. The prices were also fair. We were very lucky that we got here a little early because the lines were huge after we placed our order. The reason I gave the concession stand only 3 stars is because after ordering ( only 3 people ahead of us), we had to wait almost 20 minutes for French fries. The raspberry ice tea tasted so watered down, not sweet and didn’t really taste any raspberry. The veggie cup with ranch was pretty good. The soft pretzel and nacho cheese were good.”

Fired Up Brick Oven Tap House

Address: 2749 Noblestown Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15205, USA

Restaurant

“The food was absolutely delicious with daily specials. The waitstaff was very friendly and the owner was congenial. What a great atmosphere, good food and good music! I highly recommend this place. We'll be back next weekend 😊”

Game On Pub & Eatery

Address: 1001 Washington Ave, Carnegie, PA 15106, USA

Restaurant

“I have been in here a few times now since new ownership took over. Finally a cool little sports bar type atmosphere in the area. The wings are some of the best around. Prices are reasonable and great service.”

Levity Brewing SSW Dog Park

Address: 2706 S Water St, Pittsburgh, PA 15203, USA

Restaurant

“Great little beer pop-up with a dog park. Has a nice little patio for drinking your beer or some tables in the dog park if you have your doggo with you. Nice selection of beer available in cans or on draft. They have some merch available. Not a lot of shade, but a great stop! Also very close to the bike trail.”

Spork Pit

Address: 2339 E Carson St, Pittsburgh, PA 15203, USA

Restaurant

“We loved the doublewide, but the sporkpit food is even better. Excellent, and still a casual, relaxed atmosphere.”

The Speckled Egg SSW

Address: 428 S 27th St, Pittsburgh, PA 15203, USA

Restaurant

“The space is modern with clean lines and neutral colors but it is VERY loud. The music was set too loud for a space that lacks anything to dampen the sound. It gets expensive quickly, but I suppose this is a function of the current economy. Through the Garden toast ($14) was tasty, with quality ingredients. Hen's Hash ($15) was bland and sparse in the advertised vegetables. Additionally, I ordered ONE house-made sausage patty ($4), which was very good. Service was great!”
