My husband and I ordered smoothies for the first time today- and it was definitely worth the wait! The PB Cup smoothie was AMAZING and perfectly sweet without being super sugary. I am obsessed with the coconut whip on top- so much better than your standard whipped cream! My husband got the Orange Dream smoothie and sucked it down in record time. He loved it! The pizza was not oily or greasy unlike some local places, the amount of sausage and pepper was just right, and I especially liked the crust which was lightly crispy even after driving home. I had the beauty Alaskan roll with black rice and it was SO GOOD. I love that they offer black rice which has a great texture and is very healthy. “Stopped in with a group of friends for dinner tonight, we ordered bunch of appetizers they were all delicious. I'm going to recommend the macaroni cheese add the beef, loved the drunken shrimp and do try the truffle fries. We wiped up the drunken sauce with the truffle fries until the plate was cleaned. Smokehouse burger was so yummy my friend finished it in about a minute. I want to recommend the prime rib sandwich served French dip style. What a large tasty sandwich, comes with fires. I was so full and just keep eating it until my plate cleaned off.”

“Really solid food! Super nice people working there. Sam's is in the same spot that Vinny's (and the 1st Bella's) used to be. The inside of the restaurant is almost the same layout however it is freshly painted and has a much cleaner look. The menu has a LOT of variety. First visit we got a small steak Stromboli, which was super tasty and enough for two people. We also got a "Chicago style" pizza. This pizza was super large with nice thick crust. It didn't quite have the "Chicago" crust I was hoping for--the crust was kind of more like a round Sicilian pie than Chicago--but was still really good. The sauce on it was great! We're going to gladly add Sam's to our Pizza Spot rotation.”

“I tried the Buffalo Crispy HipCity Chicken Sandwich from their Chick'n menu. It wasn't the top five chicken sandwiches I got from around the city and it was their grand opening so it could've been allot going on. But it wasn't bad. I've also tried the Blackened Chipotle Fajita Wrap, this was better than that chicken sandwich. Nice burst of flavors. For the price, the portions and the transparency(HipCity charges a pandemic surcharge because of the rising prices of food) this place is another hipster fast food resturant that has taken over the Fresh Grocer. I'm not going to yuck your yum, but if you have the time there are better options in the area and further in the city. But if you need to feed the beast right then and there, go for it.”

“All this place needs is word of mouth. The setting is tranquil, and the tables are graciously spaced. I recommend upstairs for added atmosphere. We had a table of four and everyone was able to find something exciting on the menu. If you enjoy authentic Mediterranean cooking, you will be impressed. I thought it was a risky order as it was the most expensive thing on the menu. In fact my son pointed that out to me subtly. The price was worth the flavors. The lamb was amazing. It was plated so well, it worried me; I was worried it wouldn’t be as good as it looked. It was quite simply, the best I have ever had. I was not the only one at the table that left impressed. We highly recommend this place and hope you will experience a meal as fantastic as we did.”
