“Stopped in randomly before appointment near by. I was hungry they had food and snacks. The doughnut amazing! Didn’t even make it to my car. It was soft, but the poki stick gave it a crunch, the taro flavor was sweet but not overpowering or too sweet. Now these Korean corn dogs…i didn’t hate them. I did eat both. And i would definitely try more and go back to this place if i was ever hungry again and in the area. It just wasn’t the greatest. I think it’s great for kids or folks that like finger food like this. It just wasn’t for me. But again didn’t hate it just wasn’t my favorite thing. I’d be down to try it again maybe a different flavor. The service was quick and efficient. The server seemed nice enough and knowledgeable.”

“I would’ve never come to this place if my husband and I weren’t ravaged with hunger. We turned the corner and there it was. The rolls are excellent and great sized portions (I could only eat half of my small hoagie). The tuna tastes like my childhood. Really good lunch meat on the Italian. The people that work there are nice. I wish they had more a storefront/presence so people could see it and go there. Give this place a try ASAP! Now, let's get to the food, while it is expensive it is worth it. Odds are you've never had pita bread or middle Eastern food, and you may be intimidated, but it's excellent. If you like, hummus and steak, this is your place. The flavors are excellent, and the food is cooked to perfection. The location is fantastic. You can eat excellent food right by the creek and enjoy a truly ascetic experience. While you may be intimidated by the new ethnicity of food, it's well worth the eating experience. I can't recommend it enough, 10/10.”

“I was looking for my seafood spot and noticed it was replaced with this one, decided to try them out anyways .. very welcoming people, and the store is clean.. I got curry shrimp, Mac and cabbage. Everything was bomb, full of flavor 😙🤌🏽 no food left behind .. I’d say my only gripe was expecting a heavier platter 😅 can’t wait to see how much better they get, I gave them four stars since they’re new, the store is still bare so they still have room for atmosphere improvement.”

“Not sure why this place only has 30ish reviews. That’s crazy. I had to take a picture before I polished the rest. I got the crazy calabrese with extra pepperoni and sweet sausage. It’s toasted to perfection , crisp. The flavors are on point. However , I didn’t notice I ordered a pizza without cheese 😅, but I’d def order the same thing again. With cheese next time ! (Also, North Jersey here, we take out pizza very serious. )”

“Empanadas United is a really great addition to East Falls! I got a three empanadas: chicken and cheese, a ham and cheese, and a guava and cheese. The food came fast, the empanadas were hot, the dough was crispy and flaky, and the cheese was melty. They make them very mild and have a variety of dips, hot sauces, and spicy mayo, so you can adjust spice to your taste. All three empanadas were yummy - my favorite was the ham and cheese. They even threw in a free little pudding treat for valentines day! I will definitely be going back.”

“I wanted to like Eda’s more than I did. I truly did. I tried while my family was in town and ordered 3 pies. - [ ] New Haven tomato - because we had to try it - [ ] One pep - [ ] One sausage They have heart and are trying to make a New Haven pie. It is just not there. There were some dark spots, but it was so limp and had a slight crispiness to it we all felt disappointed. And it was missing that distinctive char. They don’t have coal-fired ovens, a prerequisite for a NH pie. The next day, I heated it on 550 pizza steel, and it crisped up nicely. Maybe they rushed to get the pies out on a busy Friday night. I wish they had a clam pie to try, and the guy said they are hoping to get one. There’s something about the original Frank Pepe’s ovens that can’t be replicated here in Philly. Don’t get me wrong, it was a solid pie but maybe call it “New Haven” with the quotes to warn those who know what New Haven pizza is so they go in better armed. For the area, I would go to a few other places first, Paulie Gees and Pizzeria Vetri, to name a few.”
