“The freshly made parottas are very soft and delicious! The fish masala and fried chicken are also very tasty. The food quality and service are excellent. Order ahead and your food will be ready for pick up at the time they provide.”

“Great hidden gem! I almost didn't leave a review so that no one else would know! I was being selfish for a bit, but once you eat here, you will understand my logic! 😆 I had a feeling, my first time here was on Mother's Day...ballsy,.. I know, but my gut feeling didn't let me down.. so I awarded my gut with delicious 😋 food! Enjoy! 🥳”

“Stayed in Scotland for 3 months and dined at the gdk there every week. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out they have a location here in the S. The bread/pita was on point, with a crunch on the outside and a softness in the middle. They didn’t have beef when I was there so I ordered the chicken, which was a little too salty for my liking. Hopefully the next time I come they will have the beef!”

“The food was absolutely delicious. I tried the skewer platter, chicken, and by recommendation from the owner, the braised lamb. Both meats were flavorful, and the lamb was the best I’ve had. Hummus and pita bread were great, as was the little cucumber salad. For the price, the plate portion and how delicious everything was, I feel it was worth it. Owner was super nice, and I like how clean the whole restaurant was, and I mean that, because the tables were spotless, the light floor could qualify for the 5 second rule, it’s hard to find a restaurant that’s this clean. I’ll be back for sure.”

“I've been wanting to try a new Sushi spot for a while so we gave this place a shot the other day. Located in the old Spice Lane restaurant on William's Trace & 6, it's been completely redesigned. Nice, clean restaurant with a chill atmosphere. My daughter loved the wall of cats🐱 We tried a couple if different appetizers and two rolls. The Agadashi Tofu was good and we'll presented. The Baked Mussels came out hot and were good size, but there something about them though. They were good but I prefer the ones at another establishment we frequent quite a bit. As for the rolls, the presentation was 👌 and looked like art on a plate. They were good as well but seemed a little small to me. I didn't feel like I really ate anything after I was done and I ate 75% of both, my wife had the rest. If they were a bit thicker and maybe a couple of pieces longer I would've felt full. On the service, it was good. The waiter checked on us throughout our visit to ensure we didn't need anything. My only complaint would be that it took a bit for someone to greet us after we were seated, otherwise everything was good. There's more than enough parking and handicap access as well. If you have kids, unless they eat this type of food, I'd make sure they were fed beforehand. Unless I overlooked them, I didn't really see any children's options on the menu. Again, this is a nice little spot but if I'm dropping over $50 on a meal I want to feel full when I leave. That and the greet time delay are the reasons for the 4☆'s.”

“Excellent service! Ambience is good, very clean and tidy setting. I loved the chicken Tikka and Beef Behari pizza! They do half and half, which is a plus, so we tried both flavour in one pizza Espetdda was good, but usually, it's made of chicken thigh pieces while there is of chicken breast But taste was good Rice was good, and we loved the crispy peri Peri fries”

“Our first time here! There was no line and the cashier was nice and tentative to us. She gave us time to look the menu over before making our decision. Food came out in a timely fashion and everything we had was delicious and flavorful! Definitely will be back for more to try all the different dishes!”

“Super delicious food, and very friendly service. Would absolutely recommend getting the iced thai tea and crispy catfish. The red and green curries are also great- a really good variety of vegetables and good flavor. Drunken noodles were also a must. Tom yum soup great as well, but don’t get it too spicy. The restaurant is new but getting popular, so service might be a tad slow, but nothing ridiculous. The servers are all super kind and attentive.”

“The food was good, size small for a burger place meat good but not seasoned, the sausage had a smoky taste with perfect spicy jalapeño kick. My lettuce was a leaf 🍃 size literally. Drinks okay, shakes are good. The fries I enjoyed crispy perfection not drowned in cheese to make them mushy. The hot dog alright. The avocado bacon chicken sandwich was good with a nice piece of chicken. The bun was good tasted like Hawaiian king sweet rolls.”

“High quality food at this spot. The wood ear mushroom salad has a lot more flavor than I’ve had elsewhere. Spice level for the spicy and sour dumplings was just right and the texture was perfect. The sesame sauce noodles were also very tasty with great texture on the flat noodles. Highly recommend this spot for the Sugar Land area.”

“I've been coming to this store for the last 25 years.. and NOTHING COMPARES. I've been to dozens of other Shipley stores, and this one has by far been my favorite! We did have a slight hicc-up this last visit, where the milk we got from the fridge in store was spoiled, but that's the first time something like that has EVER happened. The milk was not expired or opened in any way, so there was no way for the employees to know. We grabbed two right next to each other, and the 2nd one was just fine! Donuts are always top notch, and the warm glazed.. are out of this world!”

“This was our first visit here and all I can say is, come hungry!!! The portions were absolutely HUGE. I had to ask my wife 3x if she was sure she ordered a Small Fried Rice because it was so much. My plate was absolutely monstrous! Add that on top of the chips and our appetizer and it was way more than enough to eat. As for the service, it was on point as was the atmosphere. Our Server was friendly and attentive. The staff made sure the chip bowl stayed full and drinks topped off. The restaurant itself was very clean and definitely kid friendly. The only thing I would say on the downside is that if you or anyone in your family is Vegan, make sure they eat beforehand. They don't have any options, which disappointed my wife as she's Vegan. If you're in the area, and craving seafood, it's definitely worth going. I can't wait to go back!”

“Crawfish 30-March-2024 Crawfish: $10/ lbs. Medium size. Not fishy. No straight tails. Overcooked 5 minutes and some getting squishy so 3 stars. Boil mix is buttery and good flavor. I told 2 staff members to let the kitchen know the crawfish are borderline squishy (overcooked). I'm not sure they took me seriously to improve. We enjoyed the 4 lbs ordered but need improvement on the boil/cook time.”

“We are here at Sweet pot K-kitchen for Father’s Day. The hot pot is delicious and the staff are friendly and very responsive. The Korean fried chicken is amazing for all the food options and drinks and condiments for dessert. It’s a great experience to share with family and special events.”

“Love their fresh melt in mouth donuts. Their spinach feta is my favorite. We have stopped going to any other donut shop. They also have many halal options. Give them a try and you won’t be disappointed :)”

“I gotta start off with recommending the brisket & cheese kolaches— WOWWWW!! 🤩🤩🤩 I typically don’t eat meat, but give you don’t find a brisket & cheese kolaches often, I HAD TO TRY IT!! I’ve gotta say, even though in the day I visited, they prepared it with different dough and had more of a pizza consistency… the flavor & fall off the bone of the brisket was worth it. This is probably some of the best brisket I’ve had in awhile, including some of the steakhouses I’ve visited in the past. The customer service is on point & makes me want to return again. They provide the warmth, family-oriented service you don’t typically find, reminded me of good ol’ Sugar Land businesses from when I was growing up here.”

“I came here on a whim because I was nearby. No regrets. This mom and pop shop reminds me of my early years growing up in Spring Branch - big Latino culture. Also to my happy surprise, they serve breakfast plates all day! I got a Salvadoran breakfast and my husband ordered a Tex Mex combo. Everything tastes fresh, absolutely delicious, and homey. They’re also getting an alcohol license, so it seems like margaritas will be present in the near future!”

“Tacos $3 each, standard size tortillas. Tortas $9 each, also standard size, Cajun Pasta $13. I had the fajita and pastor meats. Both were moist and soft. Good flavor but I think a little more seasoning would make it better. The grilled chicken was dry and disappointed but it came with rice and charro beans, both were great. The Cajun pasta was delicious and you get a large portion.”

“Food was okay. Would avoid the queso, tasted like it was out a can. Rice also had an odd texture and was bland. Salsa was pretty good, had a nice kick to it.”
