“We ordered the chopped brisket taco. It was very good. I got mine with slaw which was also very good and I'm picky about slaw. My husband got fries which came cold, though they weren't bad for cold fries. We tried the scratch made "banana pudding". NOT grandma's recipe! Didn't find a banana in it. It was just a fluffy banana flavored pudding with some stale cookies pieces on top. Absolutely not worth the $5 we paid for it. For $5 I expected Grandma's recipe or at least some resemblance to a traditional banana pudding which actually had bananas in it.”

“Some of the best Italian food I've had! We were greeted with smiles and seated promptly. Our server Sergio was excellent! Was helpful and attentive. He's a people person and it shows!! Our food came out quickly and we could taste the freshness. Portions are very generous. Overall a fantastic dining experience! I can't say enough good things about our server and the place as a whole. Will definitely return!”

“On a Bluebonnet day trip, stopped in here for lunch. We just beat the rush and ordered. After we ordered we realized they were really short staffed. Not our servers fault but our food came out cold as it had been sitting at the pickup window for a long time. The manager (?) quickly made it right and it was delicious.”

“Apparently they think way more of their food than I did. It was OK but definitely nothing to write home about, all I'm saying is if other people hadn't been involved there is no way I'd have stuck around to pay $11 for Frito pie? That was mediocre at best(for $11 I expect a little bit of flair). The service was good which I would expect at the prices they're charging $10 for a smallish roast beef sandwich and a wad of mixed greens with two Tomatoes thrown on top as a side salad(served in the basket with my sandwich). Overall I left unimpressed and not feeling very "Sozial".”

“On a day of shopping, talking, and walking in downtown Fredericksburg Texas, we made a return visit to "Burger Burger." We had a choice of outdoor or indoor seating on this beautiful spring day. Inside it was well air conditioned and a light sweater would have been cozy. Wait staff were very attentive and made us feel welcome. There were three of us. and we each chose a different perfect hamburger and sides. Thanks and blessings "Burger Burger".”

“Small town restaurant. The locals I ran into whilst working suggested I try the place. Spacious & comfortable seating at first glance. Chips and salsa served as you sit and drink order filled fast. Try the green sauce they serve if you like spicy. Food was tasteful and served hot. A little on the pricey end but worth it. Will definitely visit again when in the area.”

“This was an amazing experience. I got to sample every beer they have for $10. Loved all but 1. My favorite was the IPA, the Pioneer Porter; it starts off tasting real bitter and the next thing your pallets adjust and it tastes almost sweet. The bartender was really nice as well.”

“My wife and I found this place while passing through Fredericksburg on our way to Austin. We heard the live music and walked into the patio and were quickly seated by the owner. He was very friendly and service was incredible. We had three different desserts and were super impressed with how tasty they were. We also had a beer and margarita. The band was terrific playing classic rock. Overall, we would definitely recommend this place, as a matter of fact when we got back home to El Paso, we recommended it to our neighbor who is planning to visit Fredericksburg a month from now.”

“I had a simple meal, trout with steamed carrots. Both were cooked near perfect. House cab was good. Atmosphere is a little lacking, but the food made up for it!”

“It was a good place. We dance a lot and the dance floor was a little on the small side. But we got our dancing fix. Crowd was good. Karaoke singers were entertaining. It is a smoking (inside) bar.”

“Good sandwich in an even better venue. The staff were very nice and efficient. The star of this place is really the antique shop. I'm not generally enthusiastic about wandering thru antique stores, but this one is exceptional. It is so large, you can get lost. The items for sale are historically interesting and seriously makes one consider changing your home decor to include this old stuff.”

“Absolutely fantastic yet simple burgers. They have great seasoning in addition to the smoke flavor, rather thin and eat-able compared to Burger Burger’s giant unwieldy burger patties. This place has fresh veggies and cold drinks and decent shakes (only tried the chocolate). The employees I encountered were very friendly and helpful and patient. 5 stars easily.”

“GREAT service! We sat down, ordered our food & received our meal in less than 10 minutes. My husband got the Catfish, which was the special of the day & said, it was good. It came with 2 sides for $11.99. I ordered the Chicken Salad Sandwich & French fries. The sandwich was good, could have done with less mayo, but was good & very filling. Our waiter was extremely nice & friendly. He told us about their weekend buffets, as well as there lunch specials for the weekend. Great salad bar along with a delicious dessert bar! Would definitely go back when in Fredricksburg.”

“Not bad. Obviously trying to be trendy for millennials. Good food but nothing outstanding. Waitress was nice and helpful, but was more attentive to the larger parties (I was by myself) who would be bigger tippers. Spent too long waiting on her to give me the check and process my charge. Probably won't go back”

“Good barbecue not the best but certainly very tasty. Had the marbled brisket, sausage & ribs which I enjoyed the best. Only thing is I wish the portions for the meat were a bit more generous for the price I paid. Overall better than most bbq places in San Antonio, and it's cool the restaurant shares the same name as me!”

“Definitely worth the drive while visiting the hill country! Small, family owned Tex-Mex since 1973. Excellent food and very attentive service. Try the #2 Enchilada plate or the chicken or pork Pepper Plate. Salsa is fresh & chips are always warm. I hear the chicken-fried steak is great as well. Beer only but who needs anything else w/ Tex-Mex? Cash only and crowded on the weekends.”

“Good sized portions. Had live music on the patio. My husband loved the pork medallions. We also discovered the roof patio which was great for conversation. We had a birthday boy, but unfortunately this restaurant didn't offer anything to make his day special. Otherwise, service was friendly and accommodating.”
