“I'm so glad this place is in my neighborhood. The coffee is the best (white chocolate latte is *chef's kiss*), breakfast tacos and croissants are fantastic, and the donuts are always delicious, too. Seriously can't be beat.”

“Went here today before doing grocery shopping. The food was decent, with large portions. We each had green onion pancakes and dumplings. I also had the beef noodle, although I missed the oil noodles on the menu. The noodles were tasty, although I would have liked more beef in the bowl. Complaints are, the service was slow although it was mid-day, and the server sent my wife's dumplings to the wrong table, so we had to wait extra time for hers. Hence their losing one star on my review. Other then that, we enjoyed our lunch. One last note. You place and pay for your order at the counter and then they bring it out when it's ready. The server does NOT take your order. Almost like a McDonald's. But not quite. Next time I'll give the oil noodles a shot.”

“Our new favorite coffee shop/cafe in Houston. We got a Lavender/Vanilla Latte with Oat Milk and an extra shot of espresso, and it has changed our lives. Went two days in a row for this deliciousness. You must try the Brussels sprouts, white mushroom truffle mac and cheese, and the Lox tartine! You can thank me later. Worth seriously checking out.”

“Went here to meet up with a mate of mine to catch up. Counter staff were super friendly and helpful with getting a beverage selected, as well as a light bite. I got the vegan taco tray with the habanero sauce. Nothing mind blowing, but a solid trio of black bean tacos with potatoes, the cold brew was rich with a hint of a fruity character. We sat outside and that was a super chill, roomy area. They even have a speaker that is just the right volume to not disturb conversation, but you will definitely hear when your order is up. I would surely visit again.”

“Hidden Treasure! We had six different people order six different things and not a single item was anything less than great! You cannot order bad food from here. Our service was great! We will be back. The only downside is that they have no interior space. I hope they move to a location with seating. I'd be there even more often.”

“Have been receiving nothing but positive reviews for the cake I picked up yesterday. We barely cut into it today and the bread is still moist and tastes really fresh. Overall presentation and cake is really good. Highly recommend.”

“I don't often write reviews, but felt that this place deserves it. Not only is their customer service great - and quick to help me pick my goodies, their products (I got quite a few to try) are really good and tasty. I'll definitely be going back!!!!”

“My experience here was incredible, and it was definitely in large part by the staff here. The manager made sure we were attended to and she was very attentive to our needs. She was very helpful in finding something off the menu, as we had never been here before. The food was out in a timely manner and the interior was dutifully cleaned. My one recommendation would be for the store to put on music in the background.”

“Food tasted great! Each item was labeled with the name and what it contains. You grab a tray and a pair of tongs to grab what looks good. 4 stars cuz the customer service was alright. I had ordered a cold brew latte and the cashier didn’t know what it was. She poured straight espresso in milk.”

“Beware that parking is almost nonexistence. They have a small lot in the front but don't count on it. This place is always packed! Your next best bet is street parking. When we walked in, the line was almost out the door. However, it wasn't too bad and it moved quickly. They have every goodies imaginable. As you go through the line, just point out what you want from the display. They will give it to you on the spot. They have a variety of desserts. A-must is the chocolate chip cookie and the pistachio croissant. The cookies are super chunky with bits of walnuts inside. I love the pistachio fillings inside. Just the right amount of sweetness. The blueberry cheesecake is also a-must with its rich flavors. There was a few cakes on display, ready to buy. The cakes were beautifully decorated, one of them was a unicorn theme. Great choice for a birthday cake. They also serve lunch and dinner here with coffee and lattes. Water and utensils can be found by the windows. They have a good amount of tables to sit. Overall, I'm loving the baked goods and desserts here. An ideal place for breakfast or brunch.”

“I came and got these cupcakes around 7pm. The red velvet was the only one that I would get again. You could tell the cupcakes had sat out for a while. The staff was very nice. I will come back but not close to closing, parking is HORRIBLE when the club next door is open.”

“Although what I did get of the burger tasted good, it was not made as excellent as it is described in the menu. I had no time to go back after sitting down and opening my burger to eat so I just ate it as it was made. I ordered the Chipotle Black Bean Burger. For starters it was not put on a ciabatta instead was just put on toasted white bread. Second, I asked for light chipotle mayo and it had zero. Last, the onions were raw and not pickled. Like I said, good taste, but would have been great to get it made exactly as stated in the menu or at least told they are out of a certain item to make it as such. Will still give it another try.”

“Breaking down my review of Common Bond: Cakes and tarts: 4 stars Pastries and cookies: 2 stars Coffee: 4 stars Common Bond is a very popular bakery in Houston and after going many times, I think it merits the popularity in their cakes and coffee. However, every time I get pastries there I have been highly unsatisfied. Personally I believe the filled pastries to be overfilled, to the point the croissant flavor and craftsmanship is lost to the amount of Nutella or pistachio or almond filling. The fillings are also extremely sweet. The cookies also overly sweet and dry. If you are looking for a simple croissant or pastry, know that their fillings are extremely "extra". Their pastries are very photogenic and will look great on social media, but the taste to me is not on par with the appearance. I would like to love this place since it is so popular but Houston has high standards for food and I think Common Bond just needs to cut down on the amount of sweetener and filling they use.”

“I’ve been eating blueberry cake donuts for about 35 years now. I have a very deep and genuine love for them. Having recently moved to the area, I’ve been trying to find my “go to” spot to satisfy my blueberry cake donut yearning. That search ended this morning when I found Christy’s. This donut was not only cooked to perfection, with a wonderful outer crunch and soft moist inside, it also has a beautiful blueberry flavor that puts this donut at the top of my all time list. Yes, it really is that good.”

“Happy hour at weights and measures was great. Highly recommend the strawberry Margarita but ask for it spicy with jalapenos. The oysters were a dollar each and honestly weren't the best quality but I didn't get sick and it took care of my raw oyster craving. The carrot Pizza was so yummy, as well as the meat (not pictured). Will definitely be returning to frequent this establishment.”

“We love Danielle. She is very kind, attentive and funny. She took our order with all the patience in the world. The food was really delicious. Bayou goo pie and lemon icebox pie are scrumptious. You have to wear your mask to enter the building. The restaurant is very clean and well organized.”

“This is a nice place for crepes. The chocolate shawarma was decent. It was quite sweet, but not very rich. The Arabic coffee was good and was spiced well with cardamom, but you just get a small sip of it for three dollars. It’s not like a carafe, where you can keep getting more. Overall, it’s a nice place to try.”
