“I have been going here for over a year, always great service. Been away for over a month and I do not know if owner has changed, but there are fresh faces in there. The reason for 3 stars is because the fruit quality is no longer fresh. The acai bowl I ordered tasted extremely different. What happened?”

“It's a chain restaurant so you know what to expect. The food is good the prices are okay. There don't seem to be many options in Houston for cold smoked salmon so I come here. They're serving Caribou Coffee now so that's an improvement.”

“Friendly staff. I like that. I think it's real important to greet every customer with a smile, and that did happen on my visit. So that was great. Good job. The food was fine, wish they had put a bit more dressing on the salad, but I'm sure if I had asked they would have. No biggie.”

“I'll go ahead and preface this with the fact that that they have amazing lunches - I've never been disappointed with their food. And I've had cookies which were good, too. That being said, I've had two out of two bad experiences with the cakes. The first one was several years ago - we ordered a custom cake for a retirement party which was kind of a big deal for our company. It was delivered and we realized it had a misspelled word as soon as the driver left. When we called, they couldn't do anything about it and weren't really willing to credit us much. Basically too bad, so sad. It did taste amazing though, so that's the memory I went off for my next purchase. I also bought a wedding cake because honestly I figured that the first cake mess up was a one off. I was supposed to have a wedding but it got rescheduled and I completely forgot to cancel the cake, so my bad. I had called on a Thursday night, but I think they had all gone home for the day because no answer. They called me the next morning, a day before the original wedding date, and said I still had a balance so I asked them if I could just have a credit from the deposit and the lady said yes. Great! Except she called me back and said it had already been made so I still had to pay for it. No big deal. I picked it up and paid for it anyway because who doesn't love cake and it was really my fault for not calling them earlier. It wasn't really what I expected, though. It tasted like it had been sitting in a refrigerator for an entire day already... think onions. The inside was good, but the outside was a little lackluster in looks as well. It was supposed to be a navy blue fondant, but was a royal blue buttercream. I guess they also put a bead of frosting between the first and second layer, but it was kind of sloppy. I'm kind of glad now that my wedding date got changed since this would have seriously upset me. If I had hired a friend maybe, sure, but I paid $400 for a fairly simple cake design and it didn't really meet my expectations.”

“This location is my favorite. They go above and beyond to satisfy their customers. Always very nice and friendly, and trust not all Kolache Factory products are made the same..however, this location takes pride. I NEVER have to worry about runny eggs..LOL..seriously though..????????????????????”

“Discovered Cleburne Cafeteria in 2010, had it often till I graduated college and left Houston. Upon my return this year I decided to come back and although it has been rebuilt following a fire, this place is still just as amazing as it used to be. The staff is very friendly, attentive and willing to help. The food is so tasty and the portion size is very generous. The desserts are like heaven, the meringue is as tall as a mountain and the cakes so sweet. This is forever a Houston classic!”

“I find that each and every one of the employees at this store give excellent service. I have seen them being steadfastly calm and polite to people screaming ridiculous demands and even threatening them. They know the regulars. They do a hard, thankless job and deserve our thanks.”

“I would've put 5 but the wait time when we go was not good. Other than that, we love Dunkin' DONUTS! Don't change the name, make a drink special that IS unbeatable.....simple. Good coffee for cheap....have $1 coffee day once a month. Once a week special maybe. Also, more flavors...make a different creamed coffee or espresso. Step out of the burger joint eating areas. Class them up a little. Build a comfortable and inviting area.”

“I've been here twice for a business brunch and both times we had to wait 20-40 minutes to be seated in our reserved room past our scheduled time. The first time was because the previous group refused to leave the room and the second time was because the room was not ready. With my first and second experiences being so disappointing, it's hard to imagine that I'd schedule any sort of business events here. I'm not going to takeaway from the fact that this is a beautiful space albeit a bit unprofessional. The food was on point (which could be because I was starving both times) and the servers were sweet. I'm hesitant to recommend this spot for business brunches but I suppose it will be okay to visit the bars that are located there. Parking was easy. You have the option to valet or search for parking within the plaza. I believe valet is $10 and, if I remember correctly, you have to pay cash. So to summarize, lovely place, great food, just needs to work on customer's experience.”

“I stop into places all over the city and I look for the best at great prices. This place is a true gem. All the ingredients were very fresh and the presentation was very decent for the $. First I have to comment on the peanut sauce or paste that comes with the shrimp spring rolls. Above and beyond anywhere else I have been. The combination of the sweet peanuts matched with a hint of curry heat was hands down a triumph for who ever brought those two together. On the the main entree. I had the lomein with chicken to have a control dish to compare to other restaurants. The big portion along side the slightly seared veggies and well marinated chicken were fantastic but what really drew me in was the hints of ginger root dashed throughout the dish. Not only did it make this seemingly flat dish more noticeable it also changes it from a heavy dinner into something light and refreshing without having to go overboard on cilantro like so many other places do. The mothers (brown) sauce was extremely well balanced and added a sweet savory splash to the entree’s main ingredients. My next time here I will try their curry specialties since I am already wanting to have more of those noodles even though I am still full. The restaurant is very spartan but has a warm and clean appeal that I liked. Oh and the best part, a sit down meal with app, entree, and a drink for under $20. The quality of the food is worth much more than the asking price and I am sure you will agree once you try them out. Thanks for reading I know it was a long post”
