Upon entering the restaurant, we were promptly greeted by friendly service and smiles. Soft jazz was playing and the tables were decorated as this was Mother's Day weekend. The aroma of fresh homemade cooking filled the air. We were seated quickly and service was prompt. I ordered the baked chicken, homemade red beans and cabbage. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Probably the best baked chicken I have ever had. The meal was complete after trying their fresh peach cobbler! Dee-licious! “This is an amazing restaurant, a hidden gem!! The atmosphere inside was so inviting, but we chose to sit on the patio because it was a beautiful day????. Our waiter, Chris, was amazing and the menu item, pulled pork tacos, he suggested was amazing!! The blueberry/blackberry mimosa was delicious. The service was outstanding and he was very friendly & personal! We enjoyed it so much that we returned the next day for brunch!! My wife and I both had pizza. She built her own, I go the works. Both were EXCELLENT. They do not skimp on the toppings, crust was great, and pizza sizes/prices good. We both got smalls and still left with left overs. Great place with a hometown feel and great food.”

The ladies that work here knew exactly what he ate as he was pulling into the parking lot. Now that he is passed my husband and I will come and eat occasionally. It is always so good and the girls/guys who work there are always so friendly and ask how our family is doing. They always make me feel so welcome!”
