“Tio Dan Cafe came from another older store down the street from Round Rock Donuts. It was greasy, and dated, and I LOVED IT! The new store is pretty, clean, and the food tastes a little different. Probably needs a few years to get that greasy spoon flavor locked in. The food is still good, it just lacks the greasy spoon depth that you get with older restaurants. Had their menudo for the first time today. It was good. It needed a little salt, and maybe a few more hours, but it was good. Their dishes are plentiful, and the fish tasty. Breakfast is adequate. No complaints there either. Pricing is good. They're not trying to take you for everything you have. Clean bathrooms. Plenty of seating. You never have to wait long in line. Always courteous staff. Tio Dan's is still a winner.”

“Standard Tex Mex. Nothing really stood out as being especially delicious, but nothing was horrible either. They've got decent burritos on the cheap if you just want to get full and don't care how it tastes. The tres leches was not good and tasted like plain white cake.”

“Their food is really good! Even though it's a Mexican food restaurant, I ordered a hamburger and it was surprisingly one of the best ones I've ever had! All of their food is really amazing and I especially recommend ordering the burger. It's big and the buns are toasted. 10/10 would really recommend!!”

“Fish taco was hard and dry. Like it sat out too long. Everything else was perfect. Sourdough burger was all good. ????”

“Best burger around. I try to come here whenever I'm within 10 miles of the place. They have a huge diverse menu, and I tried a couple other things before like chili dogs and they were good. But they have Mexican food, seafood, breakfast, and it all looks good not to mention it's like a little bit country in there, wooden booths and cowboy murals and such. A fine place to eat!”

“My go to Chinese restaurant when I need everything to be perfect!”

“First time visiting and I can say I will be back. I got the Santa Rosa pizza and added jalapenos. The pizza was great, crunchy crust, fresh toppings, and good cheese. They have several beers on tap and a wide range of liquors. I love that they have game nights throughout the weeks. The interior is super cool and unique, nothing I've seen like it in Round Rock. I visited during a very slow time and the owner I was served by was super friendly and informative. He met all my needs and even checked on me during dealing with vendors. A+ on the service and food. I look forward to returning during a poker or game night!”

“Great stop over place for good Latin food in a pinch! Much improved recently and it's always a sure bet for an excellent ham and egg sandwich and a wonderful cafe con leche!”

“This was a first-time visit prompted by a Christmas Gift. We were here for a special event that filled the entire restaurant. The staff was very nice and the food was superb and some of the beers were one of a kind (limited production). It was obvious that extraordinary planning and attention to detail went into this meal. I won't go into the menu because it was for this event, but if this is an example of what they can do then it is definitely worth a visit. We live north of Round Rock so we will be trying the new Georgetown location very soon.Keep your ear to the ground since they will be doing events at both locations and if they can keep them to this level they will be selling out often.”

“I can’t understand the low reviews on this place. It’s in small neighborhood Chinese restaurant that we’ve been going to for close to 10 years. I understand it’s under new management in the last year but we still patronize this establishment at least 1 to 2 times a month. My children like the food, the service is wonderful, they are very accommodating and you can pick it up or have it delivered. They remember me when I call, they are sweet people and the food is good. I have been late and they have stayed open for me. I have changed orders at the last minute and they have always been accommodating. My children are always delighted when I suggest Chinese food for dinner and they are the very pickiest of eaters. This is their favorite neighborhood Chinese restaurant and they eat everything on their plates. Tonight we are celebrating the Lunar New Year with dumplings and sweet and sour chicken. Simple fare that I know will satisfy their hunger and will be eaten. They even eat the vegetables so this momma has zero complaints and a lot of praise for this restaurant where the owners and staff always remember me, the cost is reasonable, the food is consistently good and prepared quickly.”

“It was an absolute pleasure to dine with family, here. Even with the few hiccups that come with the opening of any new business, we had a great time. As soon as we walked through the door, Gino himself greeted us like old friends. The servers, managers, and owners all seemed to have a great relationship and that made sitting at their table just like sitting at home. Though the servers are still trying to get their feet under them, they're all very polite, and truly glad to be at work. The food, as others have said, was fantastic, too!”

“You guys are the best but come on put in that work and get your hours changed on Google so it can reflect better on your business because the food and service is already outstanding. I'm upset the last couple times I've missed out on satisfying my craving, despite checking on Google to make sure you're open (I come out from palm beach gardens).”

“After seeing all the talk on Facebook about this place, my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try. The owner was very nice, made us feel welcomed from the second we walked in. She took the time to explain the menu to us being it was out first time. We ordered tacos to go, they were fresh, hot, and delicious; made with homemade tortillas. Although, were kinda small, they were really great priced. I will take a smaller taco with a homemade tortilla rather than store bought tortilla any day! FYI this is a breakfast/lunch place only. They do close at 1:30pm, so if you want tacos don’t be too late! Overall very satisfied!! Thank y’all for being so kind!”

“No complaints at all about the food. Truly some amazing Pizza and my favorite Stromboli. The last star is taken away because of the terrible drive through process. They ask you to pull in front of the restaurant when there is a line which you might need to pull out into the road for.”

“Golden chick is great. Always have the best biscuits and chicken. The okra was also good and I normally am not a fan but they had it cooked just enough that's not too goofy. Self serve ice cream cone was the highlight and an awesome desert. I love the fact the ice cream is no charge when you dine in!”
