The flavors were exquisite, and the level of spiciness was just right for my palate. “First time here and honestly I have mixed feelings about the place! Servers were courteous but lack serving skills. And they were short staffed. Place was full for lunch and then I realized they close at 3pm which means their peak hours are lunch. Place decorations and settings were plain/ eclectic style but I liked they have cloth napkins! That’s a plus. The food was delicious! It took a good hour for it to come through but taste was really good! We had some pistachio cake which wasn’t bad, it was fluffy and light and now thinking about it I think it would pair well with ice cream. So having said that, will I come back ? Doubt it, maybe for takeout. Service is key to have a good experience and hopefully they will take note of it!”

My husband had the Manager's Special which was a sampler of fried fish, fried pork chop, fried shrimp and fried chicken wings with 3 small sides. Pork chop was great! Seasoned to perfection! Although the food was good, the front desk service was lacking. Not personable at all. Could've had a more welcoming demeanor, especially for first time customers. The young lady, who I assume was the cook, was very friendly and inviting. She also checked on us during our meal. Overall, I was satisfied and will go back.”

“The best cake is made here! We ordered our wedding cake with Virginia herself and couldn’t be happier. We had over 60 people fly in from different parts of the US and everyone loved the cake so much. We didn’t have any left to take home or throw away. With their packages, we received an extra top to eat or freeze and one year from our date, we get another top cake made fresh for our 1 year anniversary. Virginia was easy to work with and her staff made it very easy to communicate any changes I needed to make. I’m very allergic to chocolate and I felt safe to enjoy this cake on my important day without issues. Over all, I was pleased with the start and completion of ordering a cake from Virginia’s.”

“What an awesome little cafe! We live across town but noticed the shop while driving through and decided to stop in on our way back home. We had two pastries a cookie and hot chocolates, everything was incredible. Especially the staff! Super friendly and helpful, explained what everything was and helped us pick out some cookies to take home. You don't get great service everywhere these days so I am always impressed when people act like they actually WANT your business! The woman who helped us and made our hot chocolates was so nice, patient and attentive even though it was nearly closing time. They also have an incredible selection of breakfast and lunch options including awesome avocado toast made with gluten-free sour dough bread, Belgian waffles with pure maple syrup, sausage stuffed biscuits, and baked goods, including scones, muffins, and cookies. Their wonderful lunch options include a variety of salads and wonderful panini sourdough sandwiches. Gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free options are available as well. I have a family member with many food allergies, so I always appreciate restaurants that are mindful of these and offer alternatives. I was impressed by the concern and accommodations for those with food allergies and sensitivities. The owners went the extra mile in sourcing excellent, high quality and healthy ingredients. The Cup is warm and inviting with a relaxing ambiance, gorgeous handcrafted wood decor, and beautiful artwork. It would be a great place to meet up with friends or even a group, as it has lots of room. They have a separate meeting room with a TV that would be perfect for a small business meeting. A spacious outdoor area has plenty of tables to host a larger group or gathering. “This Starbucks is BY FAR the greatest in El Paso! They greet you with such positive energy ask how you’re doing and best of all make everything truly with love. I lived on eastside my whole life had plenty of Starbucks over there, moved to central tried new Starbucks on that side, and now I have a class at epcc near outlets and finally tried this Starbucks and I was completely wowed never experienced such great service and drinks. Definitely worth the drive!”
