“My wife and I and family had a large group for one of the last Lobster cruises of the year in 2019. Food was spectacular and very well presented and organized. Staff was amazing and paid close attention to all details. Bathrooms were spotless as was the entire vessel. Great dj on both floors! I would highly recommend the Spirit of Ethan Allen for any private family function or corporate event. Topnotch organization!!!!”

Splash At the Boathouse

“Everyone was super friendly! We sat next to Jimmy Buffet (well a guy that looked just like him) and a former radio announcer for sports. Lobster roll was very good. A bit different than the warm New England one but delicious! View was spectacular!”

Spot on the Dock

Address: 1 King St, Burlington, VT 05401, USA

Restaurant

“Wildly popular, and only open during the warmer months, this waterfront outpost of the popular Shelburne road eatery is definitely worth the wait. Located on the water in the marina, the daytime and sunset views are amazing. Good pub-style food. Full bar. Friendly people. Hint: if you have flexibility midweek and can hold off until about 2:00, things are much quieter.”

Shanty on the Shore

Address: 181 Battery St, Burlington, VT 05401, USA

Restaurant

“This is the first time we had been to the Shanty since their remodeling and we like the new look. As always the food was great and timely. However, the best part was the waitress we had. Mia was excellent - attentive, but not over bearing, she spoke clearly and at a pace a Senior Citizen as my self could hear. She is a real asset to the Shanty.”

Restaurant

St Paul Street Gastrogrub

Address: 205 St Paul St, Burlington, VT 05401, USA

Restaurant

“I really enjoyed hanging out here on a Friday afternoon. They have a small drink and food selection but everything seems to be on point. I had two beers and they were both delicious, and my dining partners both got the spiked lemonade which I had a taste of and was also awesome. We shared a plate of truffle fries, which we devoured quickly within minutes - sooooo delicious! We posted up at a table and played Trivial Pursuit for two hours, with our waiter occasionally checking in on us. Overall the vibes were relaxed and friendly and I would definitely be back.”

While training and racing in triathlon for the USA, it was Tomgirl juices that helped me stand on podiums. As a registered dietitian/nutritionist, I can enthusiastically recommend all the products. If Tomgirl Kitchen's incredible products have helped me thrive through my great challenges, imagine what they can do for you!!!. I am forever grateful to Tomgirl Kitchen. Thank you for blessing my life. I love you all! xoxo Karen”

Citizen Cider

Address: 316 Pine St #114, Burlington, VT 05401, USA

Restaurant

“We stopped for a late lunch. Engaging atmosphere, kind staff. My wife had a sandwich but substituted tofu for the chicken. The tofu had very little flavor, hidden by sauteed hot peppers. Any marinated flavor would have been lost in the heavy bread bun. I ordered crab fettuccine priced at about $14. It was served on an 8" salad sized plate. Good flavor, rich sauce. Just a very small portion for the price IMO. We did enjoy a flight of their ciders which was fun.”

Dedalus Wine Shop, Market & Wine Bar

Address: 388 Pine St, Burlington, VT 05401, USA

Restaurant

“This is a great place to try new cheeses. There's always samples out and there are so many new to me items that I've purchased for an at home or party cheese plate. You really can't find the selection anywhere else. I'd say the same for charcuterie selection. If you get items in their wine bar and like them you can purchase them right in the store. The wine selection is amazing and don't be intimidated thinking this is too expensive for you, which was my initial sorry, there is a very large price range. The staff is full of recommendations based on your likes/dislikes and are happy to assist. A must try. You'll become a regular.”

Every time I’ve been there if they don’t have what I order they always apologize and offer something extra. I’m huge on customer service I will not come back to a place where I don’t feel welcome but I am so pleased with this dunkin!!”

The Spot

Address: 210 Shelburne Rd, Burlington, VT 05401, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“Fish tacos for breakfast, would you have ever even imagined that??!!! They are way better than you think!! I came here because I was in town visiting and my friend was at work so I needed to do homework and have breakfast. Unfortunately I couldn't do homework because then I would of had to move to the bar area to use my laptop and quite frankly it didn't look comfortable so I just decided against it but it was probably the most disappointing part of my visit because it caused me to feel rushed. The service over all was okay, the waitress was attentive and didn't miss a beat. I wouldn't say it was the most welcoming environment but they did their job and they did it well enough. I ordered coffee, an apple cider mimosa and fish tacos for breakfast. For my first apple cider mimosa I think it was pretty good, kind of more tart than I expected but good nonetheless. The fish tacos were huge but only came with fish tacos and nothing else however it filled me up with just one of the breakfast tacos so having no sides didn't really matter. The fish was like a backnote of the tacos with beans and eggs taking most of the space but the flavors melded together so well. It definitely wasn't one of my top places for breakfast during my last trip into town and I may come back here next time I'm in town for the tacos but that would be my main reason to go.”

Nomad Coffee

Address: 208 Flynn Ave #3i, Burlington, VT 05401, USA

China Express

Address: 295 Shelburne Rd, Burlington, VT 05401, USA

Restaurant

“Simply put, this is real Chinese food. I wasn't expecting to find real good Chinese food in Burlington, Vermont. The decor and infastructure is a bit lacking, but the food was good, and they give generous potions for the price. They also have great service (take out and eat in) I'd definitely come back, but maybe I'd ask for a bit less sugar/sweetness. Overall 8/10.”

Union Jacks

The Vietnamese iced coffee was very well done too. Good prices for what you get. I’m coming back when I visit the town again.”

Chipotle Mexican Grill

Address: 580 Shelburne Rd Ste 14B, Burlington, VT 05401, USA

Restaurant

“This restaurant is really busy even more than the others because of the students. I went twice in three days, once around 8:15 pm and the other at noon. The night time visit, the bowls were almost empty and we waited a good 10 minutes and two days later ( 9/12/19 ) at noon, the bowls had more stuffing it but we did not get more than the first time, at night. I have been in several Chipotle and I can honestly say that that store is cheap! ( Burlington Vt )”
