“Two Sons Bakehouse is delicious! The service is wonderful, the restaurant is beautiful and clean and is located in the charming village of Hyde Park, which neighbors the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail (literally one minute walking distance away). “Mildly irritated by having to tip for service before any service was rendered. Options when ordering are 18%, 20%, or 22% (what I consider a "good tip" rate), and then all they do is bring the food to your table and never check back. That's basically "to go" service (10%). Raise your prices to include what you expect to make in tips, and then stop accepting tips. It'd be more honest. Note: The staff was great and I'm not complaining about any of them; I'm just objecting to the procedure.”

I personally prefer a thinner style of bagel, but any of the sandwiches can be made on a wrap and they're always delicious and filling. It can get really busy but they're always staffed up with friendly, hard workers and the line moves quickly! Great local coffee too 🙂”

“I just stopped in the East Burke Market this evening, and I was taken by surprise. I was greeted as warmly as I could imagine. I was walked down the aisle as if I were a neighbor in need. They are thoughtful with the groceries and necessities that they offer, including local produce, syrup, etc. In fact, when I recommended that they transition away from an unethical company as their provider for chocolate chips, they immediately assured me that they would add another option just for me. I could not imagine a more wholesome and pleasant experience.”

“Ever since the online ordering they have always gotten the order right and on time. I go about once a week as a treat to myself or if I am on my way out of Burlington. I recommend taking a look at the system and ordering since it it easy, has plenty of options (what does a triple toast look like?), and easy to do from a phone, but I tend to just do it on my laptop. Nice little spot since the cheapest gas in town is across the street and I get a slushy with my bagel... Can't recommend enough and go Everything (toasted) with the Maple Walnut cream cheese!!! M”

The entire kitchen staff gave short notice while the owners were on their honeymoon so the restaurant was going to close. He was fantastic, though and the food was excellent.
