“Whilst in Fredericksburg on business, I did a quick search on Asian restaurants in the area. I was immediately drawn to this place 1) because the reviews were phenomenal and 2) the name is just ridiculous. The restaurant is not real fancy, but its nicely decorated inside. They had a variety of cuisines from Japanese and Thai dishes. I ordered the Thai Cashew Shrimp with extra veggies in place of my rice and extra spicy. My food was very good, but it wasn't at all spicy. Carry your hot sauce in your bag. The place has a lot to offer. A pretty nice sushi menu and lots of good appetizers. They also have a kids menu with chicken tenders and fries for the picky eater.”

“I had not been to this old Americana family style restaurant in about a decade, but was pleasantly surprised that basically nothing had changed. The traditional southern cooking was evident in my mac and cheese and collard greens! And the pulled pork sandwich was absolutely delicious. Allman's continues to get it right when it comes to American barbecue. If you are visiting Fredricksburg, or even just passing by on I-95, it's definitely worth the stop (just 3 or 4 minutes from the exit ramp). Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, and the prices are appealing especially for the quantity you receive.”

“This is literally the best place to get sushi in a 50 mile radius. I keep coming back, and am never disappointed. Staff is attentive, service is fast, and quality has always been superior. I've tried every single item on the all-you-can-eat sushi menu, and have disliked nothing! Decor is simple, and the atmosphere is well suited to singles, and groups alike. Location is phenomenal, and I seriously think that if they were to double the size of the building, they could easily keep it profitable.”

I often go here on Saturday nights when I'm over at DANCE FXGB for swing dancing, and I'll normally have big crowds of people follow me to go on a getting pizza adventure. No one gives us dirty looks for filling up the store, and they get the pizza made quickly in my experience. It's really good food for $5.50 a pizza.”

“I've been going here since I was a kid and always have a good experience, my last visit wasn't as good as usual but I've found it's the norm when I ever order steak at restaurants anymore. I asked for medium and first steak was almost well, I usually don't ask for steak to be redone since I just believe it should be right or at least close the first time. The second steak was barely medium and as far as I'm concerned was a completely different cut of meat. Waitress and manager were very nice about it. Salad bar was great as always.”

“If I could give 10/5 stars I would! The service was AMAZING My daughter and I went out to eat with my parents and when they came to visit. We got the buffet and my daughter ran to my mom and wanted held the wonderful waitress helped my mother fix her plate while my mom held my daughter, how wonderful! Their food was absolutely PERFECT! The buffet had so many options and each so delicious! The tea offered at the buffet is delicious and our water was always refilled when needed. They always made sure we were doing okay and greeted us as soon as we walked in the door! We will be back and will be recommending this place to everyone! It was perfect- if I could I would go there every day(: also the price was not bad the buffet for the three of us was $40 which included entree, drink, dessert loads of food!”

“I arrived for lunch before noon on a weekday and it was already pretty crowded. I was a little turned off at first when I realized it was a chain, but decided to try it anyway. The place was modest. It was clean and the staff was friendly. I like that the waitress asked me if I wanted a straw with my drink instead of just giving me one. I don't ever use them and they just create more trash. Anyway, I ordered a special Chicken Salad Melt. This was an open face sandwich with two pieces of toast and cheese melted over the top of the chicken salad. It was very good. Almost too much food w/ the added side. The waitress remarked that the dish should be on the menu, because they have it as a special often and sell a lot. Maybe try it if you see it on the specials board. I will definitely return when I am in the area. Can't wait to try their breakfast.”

“I went with my family on New Year's Day. However, considering that we went later in the day and the place was not particularly busy, we were seated quickly. The food of itself, at least what I took tasted fairly decent. I did notice that there was a piece of hair in the coconut shrimp that I love to eat at Asian buffets so I did not touch it at all because hair or anything else that is inedible in food for serving is big no-no. One thing I keep in mind about any buffet is that depending on the time of day you can either get great quality food by buffet standards or mediocre food by buffet standards. The servers were gracious to us. I would reserve full judgment for another visit that is more in line with either a typical weekday or weekend or a busy holiday and see if there are bigger concerns or what I experienced is a fluke.”
