“If you plan to use the drive thru and it's busy you may want to enter from the back entrance and it is HIGHLY recommend that you u turn so you can take a right into the restaurant. I probably only attempt to visit this location every few weeks but it seems many people missed driving etiquette ...... Very rarely will anyone ever let you turn left to enter. Good place for road rage to break out. Today alone there was at least 4 of us that just drove off after the line hadn't moved for almost 10 minutes. Then when it finally did drivers who fell entitled just block you to get in first..... Very poor design since this is a newer location and they are very aware of the traffic they are capable of.”

Thomas (our waiter) took it back and brought back a perfect stake and comped a desert for me. I never had to make a fuss, they just handed it. “I have been to many famous breakfast restaurants with hours of waiting time, but the Breakfast Bowl from RVA Cafe beats all of them. It was very simple, but made fresh with perfect execution. The place is small with few tables, but very clean and cozy. Owner/chef Daquan made the Breakfast Bowl himself and all other people’s orders. He scrambled the egg and cheese in a small sauce pan, cooked the meat in a separate sauce pan on the other burner. Because I ordered it to go, he stored the biscuit, scrambled egg with cheese in a bowl, and kept the chopped ham and gravy in two other bowls. The presentation might not look as nice as if it was served at the restaurant, but every bite was flavorful. Truly enjoyed the simple breakfast. Cannot wait to try their other items from the menu.”
