“This was one of the coolest hotels I have stayed in. Great location and a really neat decor and theme. There is no front desk and no staff that I saw, but the rooms were well stocked with amenities and snacks (for free) with more available in a common area. The way the hotel blended into the furniture gallery and restaurant was really neat. This isn't the place for you if you want to see staff, but if you are okay with a virtual check in, this place is great”

“I had an amazing salmon rice bowl with arugula. Only complaint would be that the dressing was described as a chili citrus but it was not spicy, just sweet... When I requested hot sauce a girl told me they did not have any yet but someday they might. Next time I'll come with my own Tabasco cause I'll be back for that delicious salad 🙌”

“I had the most amazing and hilarious encounter with two employees named Caroline and Liv in the drive through! They complimented my hair and were just little rays of sunshine that Completely brightened my day. I felt bad ordering such a complicated drink and they were out of peach but the employees were very sweet and accommodating and even gave me recommendations. Super awesome employees and the drinks are great too! The inside of the store is also very spacious and pretty!”

“We stopped at Chris's for breakfast on our way out of Roanoke heading home to CT. It was the perfect stop to end our week long road trip through the Blue Mountains. An employee held the door for us as we arrived and again when we left. He was helpful in telling us what the different food items in the case were. My spinach croissant was delicious and the cold brew chocolate chip muffin was one of the best muffins I've ever had (wish I got a second!). The service was quick and the space itself was beautiful. We only had time to get food to-go but would have loved to sit and eat in the beautiful dining room. Will definitely be back our next time in VA! Thanks for the great service.”

“Staff here is functional, not friendly. If you accidentally miss it driving by, don't fret, there's another Couple blocks down on the opposite side! However, at this 711, both the Coke and cherry flavor slurpees are always working, which is the most important aspect for me. They also have gas pumps. And there is a Redbox, so there's that.”

It had a hint of a kick to it that I really like combined with the other flavors in the soup. I did the choose two and ordered a customized tuna fish sandwich on a croissant along with the soup. Their tuna fish is made just the way I prefer it-mainly tuna without any large, chunky pieces of onions and etc. mixed in.”

Was hesitant about it because of all the bad service I have gotten from other McDonald's (Verona) anyway my food was hot made the way I asked and delivered in a timely fashion. Employees were kind. This took me back to late 70s early 80s growing up and what I ordered tasted like I remember as a child. To all that was working that shift...Thank you and keep up the good work. “This is a surprisingly upscale - great food, great finds and terrific feel good place as all proceeds from sales go to benefit the local homeless shelter, which also provides a medical clinic and recovery program. Orvis is a partner so you may find terrific deals on high end discontinued dog beds, clothing etc. Also has a gallery portion of local and regional art and craft, jewelry, woodworker artisans. Enjoyed strolling this and the thrift store after having a generous sized mandarin Chicken Salad.”
