“Holy cow! This place totally exceeded my expectations! Not only do they have a large collection of awesome pins and arcade machines (in good repair, that's important), there's an awesome little garden and patio area, and a stage where they have some live music. Place felt clean, fresh open air, and I couldn't have been more stoked. Big time five stars from me.”

“Came in on a Sunday afternoon. For two we ordered and shared a large #12 pho which had a good amount of sliced beef and meatballs. Broth was flavorful and not too sweet in my opinion. We also ordered the combo sandwich bread was a bit puffy and had egg rolls which were really crispy and had a good taste. Overall I would come back again, they constantly refilled my water and were attentive in their service.”

“My friend and I came in for a quick lunch and the food was super great and delicious. We got the beef bulgogi combo for two people and the price was reasonable for students like us. The restaurant is a little bit small, but clean and well-decorated with Korean cuisine pictures. The staff was fine, attentive and hospitable to customers. Overall, I highly recommend this fantastic restaurant to anyone”

“A true local spot and my favorite place on the ave for late night eats. And lunch. Service is always friendly. I recommend a beef Arabic shawarma, with an extra cup of garlic sauce, and the Greek fries. I could eat it every night for a year. I may have done this exact thing.\ EDIT: I've moved out of state but I still fantasize and wish I could find food like this where I live. If you're a uw student as I once was, I wholeheartedly recommend making this place your after-party stop.”

“Overall- would order again. Ordered: 2 golden chicken sandwiches, 1 spicy chicken sandwich, and 1 popcorn chicken (with bbq). Golden chicken sandwich was crispy but pretty bland. The spicy chicken sandwich was delicious. The sauce didn’t come with the popcorn chicken but they were crispy and tasty.”

“New favorite place on the ave! Loved the Koren Style Ramen with dumplings - the broth was so good. Also loved the menu selection. We also tried the breakfast burrito- which was a great deal. Great full menu with breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and dessert! The service was fast and great. They also have a coffee bar, which was delicious. We loved both the drip and the mocha. I cant wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!”

“Food is great, probably one of the best in Seattle, a city that for some reason typically has terrible Indian restaurants. This one's an exception. Seating/ambience is alright. Doesn't but should have outdoor seating considering how crowded it gets during peak hours.”

“This spots pad Thai is honestly one of the best I’ve had in a while. & their food & apps were really good too! I definitely will continue coming back here!”

“Pretty average Thai food for a decent value, but restaurant could use a little work. This was one of the few spots open for Thai food on the Ave when I went. The restaurant overall seemed a little rundown and could use more work with cleanliness but seemed what you would expect for the location. It’s pretty large inside with plenty of seating. There are a lot of options, mainly the traditional Thai food. I got the yellow curry combo as it came with curry, rice, and pad Thai. It tasted good, and was not too sweet, but the curry was a little salty. The portion size was large and filling, and fair for the value. The Thai Iced coffee is ok but there’s mainly ice in it. The staff is nice and service was fast. Overall, it’s just an affordable place for Thai food and good for quick bites.”

“Good breakfast, made fresh Drip coffee, espresso, and non coffee options available Alt. Milks available Drip coffee is done well, not bitter or left to perk too long Single person bathroom for customers. Lots of tables, along the wall there are power outlets WiFi for customers, fairly quick, password at the counter Music is loud compared to a chain coffee shop. Headphones recommend, as the music changes often, and you may or may not like it. Parking is on the street, or in paid lots.”

“Solid pork bulgogi, and a very generous portion; enough to take home. You get a free soup as a starter, too. Very good pricing. Edit: upgraded from four to five stars because I confused dish being reviewed. This indicates blood was flowing to my stomach, which is good!”

“I’m told to never visit Starbucks while in Seattle because other shops are better. But since the company literally started in this town, I see no better time to stop here. And given how busy this store can be with the throngs of students at all hours of the day, the people working here certainly deserve five stars. Good job!”

“Cafe Solstice is a Seattle institution of coffee. They have been around almost 30 years bringing unique, down to earth yet cool vibes in contrast to this city full of many uptight or lesser established cafes. The food and coffee/tea are delicious and well made. They bake their pastries and sweets fresh daily and prepare their own sandwiches and wraps with skill toasted to perfection. The staff is warm open and professional - always taking care to keep their guests smiling and the cafe spotless. The art and music rotation is on point. I feel like I am entering a secret hidden club of awesomeness whenever I come here. Thanks for existing Cafe Solstice- you make living in Seattle that much better!”

“I do not traditionally drink boba but I enjoy the smoothies. I brought my daughter here who thoroughly enjoys them and we both had fun with the experience of making them ourselves. Parking is not so bad when it's not busy it is all street pay to park. We had a good experience and enjoyed ourselves. They were quite busy so I'm sure lots of people enjoy it.”

“I went here with some friends to catch up from college, and it was perfect. They have a cool digital ordering thing where you order digitally with everyone at the table on the same tab, but you can also pay separately if you’d like. The food is good pub fare, and there were lots of cocktail options. Obviously beer and cider too, as well as mystery shots for $4. Great place to meet friends, especially if any of them are at the university.”

“I dined here in June of 2022. In general, the food was very delicious and fresh. The staff were super kind and attentive, and the food was prepared expertly! I ordered the salad with salmon poke, while my friends ordered the sushi burritos. The burritos were definitely large enough to split, or make for a great second meal! The salad was the perfect size for a meal. There was lots of seating space, and I would highly recommend checking it out if you are looking for a delicious, quick spot (the food was slightly expensive, but worth it for its freshness!)”

“Best place on Lake Union in Seattle for an outdoor Lunch for about $20. Watch boats sailing from lake Washington to Lake Union as you dine on Fish n Chips. The Smoked Salmon Chowder is especially good. On the day of our visit, we spotted the Seattle Fire Boat "Chief Seattle" passing by. Kenmore Air Float planes can be seen in the distance. They cut a take off path on the Lake to alert boaters of intended take departure. Free guest parking across the street. Property also offers a 100 feet boat dock and free tie up while dining at restuarant. Pick up your order, then access the dining dock by walking around the Salmon House Restaurant entrance and continue about 10 feet past totem poles to the outside ramp leading to dock where there are tables and chairs. Crank up umbrellas offer shade. If you prefer a historic spirit inspiring setting, dine inside Salmon House for Lunch or Dinner. The Bar offers a large Happy Hour Menu which rates a separate review.”

“Our server was knowledgeable of the menu and had great recommendations. Our table on the water was beautiful, though a little noisy with the local freeway, but still a fun, relaxing atmosphere. My wife had the king salmon and loved it. I had the strip steak, which can be a throwaway item on a seafood menu, and it was bonkers food. So tender. It’s a nice place. Check it out.”

“Absolutely incredible experience. Did not think their first spot next door was possible to top but they did it again! Great vibes, conversation, clean, fair prices …. Oh, and the food is absolutely incredible. Gyro in the form of a burger is the next stage of food evolution. Cannot recommend highly enough!!”

“My husband and I discovered this wonderful brew pub on a recent hot Friday afternoon. It didnt look particularly special from the outside, but was very nice inside with some fun, quirky, decorative items. We sat at the bar and were immediately welcomed by a very friendly barman. He gave us a couple of samples in addition to the delicious IPA and cider we ordered. We commented on the lovely "tree slice" bar tables and learned he was the pub owner who had also made all the uniquely turned legs of the smaller bar tables. We took our son there for supper two days later and had very delicious food (burgers, turkey bacon sandwich, onion rings and fries). We already knew the brews were excellent and they were matched by the quality of the food, and the staff. If we are ever back in Seattle, we will definitely come back to this fantastic pub - Highly Recommended!”
