“Passing through the area and stopped at the onion bar and Grill in downtown Spokane. Warm family style restaurant with an extensive menu and decent beer selection. We only had appetizers so cannot comment on entrées. However, they looked incredible as servers walked by. I did have one of their milkshakes, which was very good. We would definitely stop by and eat there again.”

“Nice, fun local place. I really liked the Mediterranean salad, the vinaigrette was strong which I like. I also had the Meat City pizza, it was good. The crust was great on it, fully loaded with toppings. Almost too many toppings, more meaty flavor than pizza flavor. Still delicious, I would've liked meat cut up into slightly smaller cubes for ease of eating. Known for their calzones, the one we had was a bit underdone with the dough. Cheap beer!”

“Atmosphere was good, it’s kind of old but has a good sense of traditional Japanese style. We ordered Sukiyaki & Tempra from combos for two and Wafu Steak. It comes with Osumashi soup and small plates salad which has mayo-miso-ish taste dressing. All the food was great The reason I didn’t give them five stars is the service. We went there for weekday dinner time and there was only one employee who did host, took orders and served food. Because of that, we had to wait for everything.(before and after seated, order, checkout..). The waitress was really nice and worked hard. I hope they will have more employees next time.”

“A great local hamburger joint that I tried for the first time today. The staff were friendly and fun. The burgers were juicy and tasted great. Something I hadn’t experienced before was the choice of whether I wanted my onions cooked or raw. I thought that was a nice touch because I actually like my onions uncooked.”

“This was the first time I had been to a Carusos. I have their signature sandwich and my guest had the chicken pasta. The sandwich was very good although I would’ve liked to seen more condiments on it. Maybe honey mustard, or a horseradish mustard. But that is my personal preference not a reason to complain. Not sure that was an option but if you’d like a little more zest or pep in your sandwich, definitely ask for something. Not a complaint just something to be aware of. The pasta dish was definitely filling and was very good. Since I am a fan of all things cream soda, I have to mention this is one of the soda options.”

These coupons expired, she said they still work. I only got 3 instead of 5. So they don't. So not bad but 20 bucks later, there should be better side offers and a free drink maybe.”

Asked the kind lady at the counter and she said it was raspberry so whatever. It wasn't but it was still good so who really cares. The homeless were not as bad as expected. “Amazing food, great atmosphere. We must have come at a peak hour though because the inside was buzzing, but the outside patio was amazing, and the patio is dog friendly! Got the greek chicken bowl, and it was so flavorful, the rice was warm but the toppings were fresh and cold. Usually you have to salt, pepper, and hot sauce things for them to taste good, but this was perfect by itsself. Super refreshing. And the sangria was a delight. Will absolutely be back!”

“Bright and clean space with friendly and fast service. I had the whole Veggie Nooner. It was a great meal, and it's one of my favorite sandwiches from anywhere. The veggies were very fresh, and the bread was delicious. I had one of these sandwiches a year ago when passing through Spokane and couldn't wait to come back and have one again. “Phenomenal service, phenomenal food. You really get your bang for your buck. My favorite appetizer was the Black Rose, the sauce and texture were so yummy, perfectly savory and crispy. Our server has the sweetest, kindest soul. My boyfriend's entree had miso included, mine didn't, so she gave me miso soup on the house. She also gave us two rolls extra on the house. My boyfriend's only complaint was the selection isn't as big as most other sushi places. Overall loved the experience, the food just kept coming, and we left with our bellies full and happy hearts.”

“Fantastic place!!! Great drinks and the food was delish! The pickle plate is amazing, the pimento cheese was creamy and just the right amount of spiciness and the grilled Ceasars was pure goodness.
