“I love good BBQ and it’s hard to find in the north. This is the real deal for slow smoked goodness! The smoke ring on the ribs and the dry rub were perfection. They don’t cover their great work with sauce so there is no hiding the truth. It’s just plain good! True to honest BBQ they do sell out quickly so get there and get some! I had heard great things about their former location and they were in transition last time I was in town, so I FINALLY got to try Joe’s! Brisket, rib tips & pulled pork all perfectly cooked and the mac&cheese, beans and cornbread were excellent too!”

“Jason was an amazing bartender. He greeted me and was very friendly while also multi tasking because of how busy he was. I will definitely be coming back to visit him. Good bartenders are hard to find. Make sure you keep that guy around! I ordered a simple vodka soda and he asked if I wanted Tito’s or rail. I’m glad he asked because I always drink Tito’s. I didn’t even think to ask for it! Solid!”

“Narrow and quaint restaurant. Beautiful decor with cloth dressed tables and cute center candles. Small plates with good flavor and flair. I always enjoy this restaurant. On my birthday they give me the Spanish version of a boot that is filled with sweet wine to drink with my group. It is classy but relaxed with nice options for wine. Definitely recommend for any date night or special occasion!”

I had high expectations for the burger and it didn’t disappoint. They know what they’re good at and they stick to it. Will definitely be back! I like a great burger but I hate when it’s just simply grease dripping. Good flavor doesn’t need to be running down my arm. I recommend Al’s for that reason. Delicious flavor. And their crinkle cut fries are wonderful.”

“I've never stayed at the Inn myself, but have heard from a number of friends that it is wonderful. My review is just about the food & drink portion of the establishment, as that I'm quite familiar with. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great as is the room itself, with lots of comfort and charm built in. The staff is friendly and accommodating, with lots of recommendations of what to try on the menu. The bartenders are friendly and can whip up anything you can think of and do it with style. Here's my hint, it's all great! My favorite are the lamb shanks, they are brilliant! If your thing is soup, try the the root soup, on a cold Winters day nothing could be better.”

“Had a wonderful time and a nice meal. The service was very good as well as the drinks and food. I wasn't keen on going here because the music is always way too loud whenever I have eaten at the Appleton location. I was pleased that it wasn't as loud at this location. My friend and I were able to hold a nice conversation. My friend is disabled and the staff was very accommodating and helpful in getting us seated even though it was very busy.”

“The service was decent at this location. I took a star off because we got here at 3:38 and they told us that we had to wait until 4 to be seated because the kitchen opened at 4. No big deal but was something I had never dealt with before. The variety of steaks was impressive and the fact that you can cook your own steak to your liking and on top of a charcoal grill is something unique for the line of restaurants. A tip I would leave for all of you is that you should make sure to have your phone flashlight handy because the lights in the restaurant are pink and they can make the steaks look undercooked.”

“Male bartender with tie dye head band was quick, efficient, and on top of things. Ladies that followed his shift left me waiting empty for roughly 20minutes per drink. I sat trying to break a 20 to tip for 20 minutes at the end of my night and ultimately just left. Those ladies did a VERY poor job with 15-20 people at the bar.”
