“Eating mexican food from a gas station wouldn't normally be on your list of "good ideas" but their food is BOMB.COM. My mom always makes it a point to stop at Aztec when in the Humboldt area. We had the chilie rellenos burrito and it comes with all the fixins. The guac is tasty and I had mine with the green fire sauce which isnt too spicy and adds a nice kick. I think the cost was a little less than $11”

“Family road trip and we returned here because the food is delicious. The smoked salmon sandwich was incredible and so were the fish and chips. Sweet potato fries are the best ever. The homemade ice cream was fantastic. We also enjoyed the mashed potato in a cone. A really fun and delicious place to eat.”

“Headies Pizza and Pour is located right off 101 in Trinidad, in the same parking lot as Murphy's. Their thin crust pizza hits the spot every time. They have an amazing deal...2 slices and a beer for 11.99. Each day brings a new special pizza, along with regular favorites. You can also order whole pies, and customize according to their available toppings. The walls are filled with art from local artists. It keeps the interior looking fresh. I will keep coming back to headies!”

“Visited the Beachcomber Cafe in Trinidad, CA on a Sunday morning. First time. The cafe was open for outdoor seating on a nice patio area. The menu was posted on the wall and we ordered at a walkup window. Service was awesome, friendly and helpful with menu selection advise. Our food tasted good and the mocha we ordered was great! A very nice cafe worth visiting, in my opinion.”

“We decided to take a trip down northern California coast and wanted some Pacific seafood. The locals steered us toward this place and we were very happy with our decision. The eatery had some good choices. The service and atmosphere was very friendly. The clam chowder was excellent along with my tuna. We were very happy with the experience except for the baby oysters. I still don't understand why they were so small. Just one of those things! I would recommend visiting if your in the area.”

“Love the view from where we were seating . Servers were all friendly and our particular server was attentive. We dont have to call him for any refills , he just knows when we needed him. Their fried artichoke was lightly battered which was really good. The steelhead dish was also amazingly good. My husband ordered the beef tritip burger , it was juicy and tender good too”

“Beautiful views! Lovely craft beer and the nest tartar sauce ever. Weird thing to rave about, but it was special. Chowder was top notch and so was the service”

“One of the most beautiful places Ive eaten dinner in my life but the experience left a bit to be desired. Took us a while to be seated, then took us even longer to be served. Must have waited 30 minutes to get a waiter and another 45 to get our food. We also ordered a dessert which was forgotten and we had to remind the waitress about it. The appetizer was not really bursting with flavor and the fish and chips I had were very bland for a $35 dish. Clam chowder was ok but had another down the road that blew the doors off this at a much more affordable price.”

“I lived in New York City for 4 years before moving here and I have to say this is the best pizza I have had. Easily beats New York pizza. And you can buy by the slice which I like.”

“Best burger and fries in Humboldt county. Period! For a way better price. Super cool place with interesting people and atmosphere. Place uses good ingredients. (no Cisco nonsense) lots of local organic vegetables, local organic grass-fed beef, fresh cut fries, craft beers/ciders etc. Definitely call in your order, because it can get busy! Can't go wrong!”

“I love this taco truck! When I first moved here 8 years ago & they still have same great, good food and service. :) Best guacamole I have ever had. I need to see if they sell it separately.. reasonable prices. They faster than taco bell and more quality product real food”

“We had an orientation event this week and Central Sandwich did an AMAZING job catering the event! They put together an excellent assortment of sandwiches, chips, and drinks. They were lovely to work with and even accommodated a big menu change an hour before they were set to deliver (not that I would want to ever do that to them again)! They will definitely be my go-to place for catering in the Arcata area from now on.”

“It's cheap pizza so I shouldn't expect much, but this location really phones it in. There was more crust than toppings. I mean, it's still tasty and cheap, but they could at least try to make it a little more worth the trip.”

“Phenomenal fish and chips and fish sandwich. Looking at the menu I really don't think you can go wrong. Very crispy with a nice buttery fish center. Their fries and hush puppies were amazing also.”

“Having lived in the Central Valley all my life, I feel like I've been pretty spoiled by great Mexican food. Since moving to Humboldt County, we've been struggling to find one that approached the same quality of what we're used to--but I think Carmela's might be The One. The service was wonderful and the food was amazing. My friend swore up and down that their mole sauce was some of the best he's had. It also just had a really chill vibe. Basically, we'll probably be making return trips!”

“They have these "grab n' go" breakfast burrito's you can get, quick and delicious for sure. However if you have about 10 minutes to wait, you can order one with the stuff you like and they are literally 2 times the size for almost the same price. Love this place when I am hungry and filling my gas tank.”

“The brew with a view was great. I got the Chicken Fried Steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. It was delicious. To drink I got the 10 beer sampler. Six Rivers has so many unique and tasty beers that this was a great way to try most of them. I sat outside and the environment was great. A friendly person at the next table even let me have a slice of their pizza which was also fantastic. Would highly recommend this place.”

“The location of this restaurant is prime, ambiance is good but the food was just okay. We tried enchiladas- tasted okay 5.5/10 Tamale - not up to the expectations 3/10 Pork bean soup- 3/10 Some cocktails Best part about the restaurant was that it’s open until 9:30-10 and their salsa 😅 Very spicy (which I loved ) and chips.”

“My husband really wanted to go here while we were on vacation a couple of weeks ago because we don't have Round Table back home. I was really excited to try it but we left pretty disappointed. I got an iced tea out of the fountain and it tasted like the concentrate was past due to be changed and the bathroom was a disaster. I generally don't like to complain about cleanliness but it was bad, one toilet was clogged with a wad of TP and a half flushed seat protector, the other stall had trash overflowing from the can and strewn on the floor. While the cleanliness aspect was disappointing, we did enjoy the food. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, which was not only delicious but was also served promptly. If I had to do it again, I'd probably just order takeout but the staff was friendly and the food was good.”

“This place is so family friendly, and comfortable as soon as you walk in the door! The food is amazing as well, my kids got Mac and cheese and pop corn chicken (I may have sampled some haha) it was really good! I got myself the crab fettuccine and it's some of the best I've had in a while❤️ It wasn't over powered by to many different flavors. I will stop by here every time I'm in town”
