“This is a nice place, little small. Service was very good, nice waitress. We came with no reservation but they were able to seat us. Ordered shrimp cocktails and oysters shooters. Shrimp was fresh and very yummy. Shooter was in shoot glass with salsa, again very yummy and Fresh warm ciabatta bread and butter, also yummy. I'll definitely go back if in the area.”

“Adorable breakfast/brunch spots. We ordered there omelette with avocado and cheese. We also ordered their scones with tea. The omelette was very fluffy and delicious. The scones are different from the typical stones that you see. By itself it is kind of bland. You have to use their jams which are homemade. The staff there was very friendly and kind. We sat out in the patio which had about three or four tables. Inside looks very cozy. I love their teapots, it was so pretty. They also sell their jams by the jar and their pre mixed scones box so you can make them at home.”

“Had a lovely day trip to Carmel and decided to eat at La Bicyclette. Very cute and since I was early before the lunch rush no wait and service was great, very attentive and, was training someone new. Reviewed daily specials but I ended up ordering the Rainbow Beet Salad which was very tasty. Love the decor and will definitely return”

“Great, personable service! Attention to detail on every level. I had the half roasted chicken masala plate. It was delicious- I could have appreciated the chicken to be a little bit more charred on the skin and little more seasoned. However, combined with the arugula and masala sauce - it was great. I also tried the pepperoni pizza- amazing! Simple, light but savory.”

“Charming club with better than expected food. Occasionally have a live band during happy hour, the lamb chops when available are a can't miss! Evenings are a low key, local affair, this is a private club however, so one needs to be a member or invited guest.”

“Best sandwiches and breakfast burritos in Monterey, but cash only! And be prepared to wait in line, this place gets busy. You can call in an order if you are getting more than 3 sandwiches.”

“For years they would not remove the onions from the burgers on request. Not on purpose, I just don't think the cook understood or cared. But things have improved and they seem to listen to customers. Now if we can just stop them from mass producing their breakfast burritos and letting them get soggy, this would be my place for food.”

“Decent food with a very limited menu. I had fried chicken which was good however it only came with fries. Fried food on top of fried food. We also had the salmon croquettes which were just ok. Excellent drinks from the bar.”

“We were here on a trip from the Midwest so we obviously had to stop here to see what everyone raves about. I have to say overall it didn't live up to the hype. The burger was pretty good, but if you compare it to Culver's it missed the mark. The fries in my opinion are nothing special. Overall it was okay, but Culver's reigns supreme!”

“Good $5 drink specials. We had the two for 2 $25 appetizer two entree's and a shared dessert. It was well worth it. Not enough servers though we spent an extra 30 minutes waiting for service. Luckily they have the option to pay at the kiosk at your table.”

“I ordered the Macho Burrito with chicken and my niece got the quesadilla. The food was SO good. The service was fast as well. The burrito is very big. If you’re really hungry then this is the perfect burrito. Otherwise I would share it. But the burrito is moist and flavorful. I highly recommend it. The restaurant is small and cozy, perfect for smaller families. It’s clean and taken care of.”

“My wife and I split the Halibut entree. They brought two plates with the shared servings of veggies and pasta. A nice touch. We shared a dinner salad, which they brought on two plates. Again, much appreciated. The Halibut was excellent; lightly topped with a touch of pesto. Delicious. The veggies were well cooked, still with some body, and flavored just right. The pasta was a super side dish. Each split plate had its own meal ready to be enjoyed. Even if you have a reservation at 5:00 get there before and wait in line. Doors open at precisely 5 pm.”

“The legs and thighs are delicious with both the regular and extra crispy. But when we ordered the chicken sandwiches they came cold so we sent them back to get actual warm chicken ???? sandwiches but they still were not hot and barely warm. So for that I only give them 3 ???? instead of 4.”

“Stumbled into this place just searching for sushi near us. We wanted to try something new. Friendly service, not to mention easy on the eyes. Our bill was surprising less than expected too. I don't remember the 2 rolls we ordered, but they were fresh and tasty.”

“Hands down the best sandwich place. I've been going here for about 3 years. The sandwiches are top notch. More meet than anywhere else. The staff is amazing. I'm a bus driver and I go here on my lunches I can always find a place to park my bus. So parking is not an issue. Yesterday I had a minor issue with my sandwich, for the first time in three years mind you. And Jenny was amazing. She fixed my order no questions asked. She was polite, respectful, and willing to make it right. Regulars know the importance of a good place and this one gets my top marks. Thanks Jenny u need a raise.”

“I went there for the Beyond Burger and wasn't disappointed. I hope more fast food joints start using it. The drive thru service was somewhat slow the two times I have gone.”

“Big food. Friendly staff... I've always been a fan of this place, and their burgers are quality in the way that you know you'll get good ingredients rolled into a filling and serviceable burger. Odd hours though, so outside of lunch and breakfast, you're going to have to look elsewhere. PS They have fun little additions sometimes. Free pumpkins on Halloween, coffee tray outside when it's busy, things like that. Update 03/04/2019: The Breakfast Club is still a solid go to for the area. Been loving the omelets lately. Big plate, good food.”

“It's what you would expect. Sort of clean. Fast service. I give it the 3 stars because almost every time I order I get a cold burger, the large fries are more like a large small. It a fast food place don't expect much and you'll be ok.”

“Loved it. We all shared a dinner for four (soup, egg rolls, wantons, pineapple chicken, pepper steak, almond chicken) and added chicken chow main and a plate of garlic chicken. The food was delicious. Not too much breading on the dishes that were breaded. The meats were well seasoned, vegetables were cooked well without being too soft. I highly recommend a visit for great dinner, great service, and a really cool atmosphere. Prices aren’t cheap, but also not overpriced. I think the quantity and quality was just right for what we paid.”

“I love this place for a great weekday lunch special. Teriyaki steak and chicken are great as is the CA roll and spicy tuna. Nice older lady is the hostess and waitress and I think her hubby is the chef. Super nice people, very reasonable, close to my work and always yummy!”

“Decent western chain. Lots of food, which was served slightly cooler than I would expect for a breakfast. Just two of us eating but lots of people who were seated after us were served well before us. No apology for the delay. My father's biscuit was cold, but was replaced quickly when it was pointed out. I'll try it again, just to see if my first impression was an anomaly.”
