“I love this place and it's not far from my house. I like their produce better than Safeway. I got a really good deal on tri-tip in bulk and went home and trimmed the fat off myself-saved lots of money$$$. They have a bakery and I can get fresh rolls for sandwiches. The cashiers are super friendly and helpful.”

“The deli and taphouse have a variety of vegan & vegetarian food options to choose from. We tried enchiladas for dinner and plant based chorizo burrito for breakfast. Both were delicious. The portion size is quite large. Their little general store has souvenirs, basic grocery and camp supplies.”

“Parkfield Cafe is more than just a cafe it is a destination. A very popular destination indeed. And that's because of the great food great atmosphere and great surroundings and wonderful drive to get out to Parkfield. where else can you stand on the continental plate and be right next to the Pacific Plate and say wow this is earthquake City but they happen so rarely you'll be lucky if you get to indulge in one. But don't let this scare you the people are friendly the town is nice it's just a little Western destination that you can also stay at the hotel that's across the street and come out to trail rides or even spend the night in the hotel and see the wonderful stars that are out there but wait this is about a restaurant the Parkfield Cafe. some of the best burgers in the state are served right here and it comes from the cows that they raised on their Ranch so it's really a local Burger from a local Source at the local restaurant right here in Parkfield. I encourage everyone to take the drive to Parkfield and enjoy the drive I enjoy the scenery sometimes wild flowers sometimes not sometimes cows and ranches everything is visible and you want to have a little peace and quiet and privacy this is the drive. what do you come in from Paso Robles off Highway 46 or whether you come in from San Miguel via 13th Street it's up to you. don't wait too long to go oh, it's not that far oh, and be sure you want to come again and again I know I do and I love the drive. See you in Parkfield. home of really good burgers really good sandwiches and that apple dessert with the ice cream is just marvelous come on out and spend the afternoon enjoy. And be sure and look up their website for the events that are out there and you can schedule yourself to be there with an event and maybe even have even more fun. Add Bluegrass Festival is coming up soon.”

“Very polite staff. I ordered a salmon and onion omelet. It was wonderful! The view of the ocean is blocked quite a bit by the decorations, but still a nice place for a meal. Outdoor seating is available.”

“This is a great spot. They have awesome food and live music on the weekends! I had the O’Calllaghan’s Burger which was one of the best burgers I have had in a while. They have happy hour daily from 4-6pm. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed!”

“Nice, clean shop. My mother got a BLT here and said it was some of the best she’s ever had. We both also enjoyed our pastries, although I wish they’d offered to heat them up for us, considering our meals were dine-in. The reason I removed two stars is because I ordered their house soup, which comes in one size and costs nearly $10. What I received was a bowl of clear, unseasoned broth with boiled chicken, onions, and cabbage. I truly paid $10 for the kind of food you would find at a local soup kitchen. This was war camp soup. TLDR: get a pastry, skip the soup.”

“This was such a fun and delicious food tour! It’s so nice to discover little restaurants in the Carmel by the Sea area. Our guide, Amber, was really great. She was cheerful, knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Carmel by the Sea. Whether you’re here as a tourist or a local looking to discover something new!”

“Absolutely fantastic dinner! We sat outside, which may have been chilly at 7:30 but they're well appointed with heaters, and you can choose to sit at a fire pit which also looked really nice, though we did a table since we were getting a full dinner with lots of sharing. There's big privacy hedges so you're nicely isolated from the road. The waiter, who looked to be taking care of all of the porch area, was absolutely delightful and super attentive. And of course the good was incredible, don't miss the crispy potatoes! And the drinks were out of this world, the Yellow Parrot is amazing if you like absinthe. Absolutely give this a try if you're in the area!”

“So wonderful!! This hotel (and restaurant and bar) are cozy by themselves, but the staff here made the experience even better. Very attentive, and will even help you plan your trip! Make sure you take time to check out the rooftop and beautifully maintained garden. A+, will be back again if I’m in Monterrey. Thanks, Esau & Dr. Nick!”
