“Yum yum yum! Perfect fit for the costa mesa community! I was craving seafood but had zero desire to gussy up to head down to Newport or south coast for it. Simply fish is casual, fit for a quick date night or taking the family out. Food is in my opinion fresher and made with the seafood as the highlight of the dish instead of sauces masking the flavors. In other words Simply Seafood. The business is own by a independent small family which just adds to my love of the place. We must continue supporting small businesses! We were there Sunday night we started with the brussel sprouts and let me tell you its a game changer. I had the clams and the cl chowder my husband the white fish plate. We were so impressed we came back Tues night for taco Tuesday. We were very happy we did. For $10 we got 2 tacos fries and a soda. I recommend the shrimp, steak and the grilled white fish. I had to try the lobster bisque and it was delish but for my pallet (lighter) I prefered the clam chowder. One of the best chowders ive had in a long time. Service was impeccable Kim made us feel like family.”

“Great quality fish, amazing taste, nice and attentive staff. I came here expecting full moon sushi to be open. Full moon was always my solid “B-grade” sushi and beer spot. Decided to give the new place a try and I’m glad I did. The quality of the fish at Takumi is much better than Full moon. It’s absolutely worth the cost. I had the 10 piece sampler and had to back for seconds of the halibut with yuzu sauce on it. The staff were attentive and friendly. Some feedback: Get Spotify premium. The 15 minute long radio commercials were annoying… but I’m also sensitive to that. More music. Less audible advertising.”

“Celebrating a co-worker's birthday, we stopped at French's Bakery in Costa Mesa to pick up a cake for a surprise birthday party. The staff took care of me, making sure the cake was ready to go and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. They have a wide selection to choose from and if you have enough time, you can have custom cakes made. Great prices. Definitely will use again.”

“Came in for lunch and there were plenty of tables to sit. I took a bar seat and ordered the Tokyo, being my first time the server Hannah was quite helpful in explaining what the whole experience was like. If you were to forget on the wall the steps were painted with visual aids. The bowl was extremely filling, so do expect to be full and then some. The flavors started from savory, to sour, to all mellowed out by the end. Definitely would recommend if you would like a good filling meal!”

“Great food, very fresh tasting fish. Excellent value for your money. You definitely don't feel like you're in a strip mall once inside. The decor is top notch. Plenty of servers and everyone was very welcoming and friendly. I'm going back for sure.”

“After being there for a Sunday brunch, we wanted to come back for dinner, and we were glad we did. Good service and good food. Small selection but well done. The soups were delicious. Side dishes are tasty. The dry aged rib eye is good. We sat at the bar, and got a good view of actions in the kitchen. For brunch, definitely recommend outdoor seating for the lovely view of Soco fountain.”

“Me and my fiancé would go to their original location all the time, when we saw this one was open we had to drop in. This is a great spot for an elevated quality Thai food experience. The guys and girls there are some of the friendliest staff as well. They really make the whole experience.”

“Love this spot. Love the vegan corn muffins. Wish their prepared foods were more consistent. I'm a huge fan of the vegan buffalo cauliflower pizza but half the time the arugula looks moldy or they sell a pizza with broken/thin crust that won't hold up for eating. Overall I find the staff very helpful and they have good produce excluding the oyster mushrooms which unfortunately always look too beat up to purchase.”

“Their cold Brew is excellent! Sweet staff and quality coffee. Fun Mexico gift's and theme. Also seems like the seating situation isn't too bad for a small shop. Next time I plan to try their variety of baked goods since they looked so yummy!”

“Black Market always has yummy breads and treats. The tomato and cheese croissant was good and the chocolate chip cookie was very tasty and not over baked. Their sandwiches all look good however it appears the hot mess we ordered was poorly made. The bread seemed too squished almost like somebody left it under the press for too long. Bread was crumbling apart. Still had a good taste.”

“Just amazing, Small dark 1,000 different wines the cook is the owner and wine guy and was born in Italy, came out and talked to us about all 4 courses and explained the wine that was selected for hs and had this amazing accent I couldn't understand him half the time so it was sexy and the food WAS AMAZING. Worth the drive and cost...”

“Breds was pretty good ! Reminded me of Dave's hot, but they had their own style. Loaded fries are perfect to share for 2 & the tender sliders. It can get a bit messy so be ready ! Mild was just right but if you like a bit of spice order a side of spicy sauce or get medium. Friday around 1ish is a great time to go since it was empty & after theunch rush. Strawberry lemonade to wash it all down.”

“This place is Amazing! I had the chance to order food each of the 2 weeks I was on vacation. Yes I know to cook but why? When this place puts it all together for you. Delivery was excellent, my order was on point with everything. The Food was fresh and ready to serve anytime. Throw it 2 minutes into the microwave and all set! I ended getting like a variety pack which was Great! I always comeback to ARM! They are the best at what they do! Thank you very much for the Great & Delicious Meals as well as the excellent customer service every time! Marlito De Assis”

“We went to try this new restaurant and it was a big hit with all 10 in our group. The katsu was hot and fresh and the flavors in the shrimp, chicken and pork were all good. I had mine don style which is served with a special sauce, egg and onions on top of rice and I loved it. The portions were very generous! Perfect place for parties of 2 or 10 with bottles or pitchers of beer, easy parking and amazing food! We'll be back!”

“Ordered the Falafel Bowl with rice and it was delicious. They also made this garlic type horse radish that was light and had the right tang. Their service was also great!”

“The best fried chicken spot in Costa Mesa. We had chicken sandwiches and they were super delicious 😋 . They were not too greasy, not too dry, just perfectly crispy. I also love their Dave’s sauce . It is a must try! The crinkle cut fries is very tasty too and it goes perfectly with the Dave’s sauce. For the first time we have tried their mac and cheese and it was delicious. When you are ordering a chicken sandwich you get to select how spicy you want the chicken, we got it lite mild which was perfect, not to spicy but not blend either. Perfectly seasoned chicken and so juicy and delicious 😋. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is very vibrant and inviting. The restaurant is clean and very nicely decorated with some cool artwork on the walls. Highly recommended!!! A must visit!”

“If you're looking for quality pie this is the place to go. Everything from the environment to the first and last bites of each slice radiates positivity. The owner hand delivers each pizza and comes back around to get your honest opinion. He is constantly working to perfect his craft and it shows in each pizza they bring out. The crust is light a crispy and the ingredients are fresh and delicious, making every bite better than the last. I highly recommend the arugula and prosciutto pizza. The arugula's so fresh it takes me to the safety Mother Nature's womb, with prosciutto so good I feel like I'm dancing drunk with Salvador Dali a glass of Sangria away from bliss, only for the pesto to guide me to the pearly gates of pizza heaven. What can I say, I'm a genuine fan of the food and the people making it happen inside. Each pie is truly a work of art.”

“Taste of Nashville in SoCal. Nashville Hot Chicken has been spreading around the country the last few years so just about everywhere has their own take on it. Baba's is a solid offering and they do an excellent job of capturing the crisp skin coated with spices while keeping the chicken tender and moist. Lots of other places tend to dry out their chickens overcooking it, but Baba's hits the sweet spot. The menu consists of chicken tenders. Either as a basket, or on a sandwich, and sides include mac and cheese, grilled cheese, fries, etc. The chicken can be ordered at various heat levels. The seasoning has a hint of sweetness which is true across mild through hot. I did not try the extreme this time. The hot was decently spicy but certainly not a killer.”
