“Really good quality food with excellent service. All staff are kind and nice. This restaurant is real authentic Japanese izakaya not Californized fake one.”

“Watch out for the spicy sauce! I thought I could tolerate spicy but be careful what you ask for. The food is delicious, no wonder they have a line. I recommend the bowl and with the bread!! The only con is finding a parking spot but it is worth the wait.”

“My husband and I were recently staying overnight in the city, and I could not wait to grab a sandwich and treat from Specialty's while we were in the area. Sadly, the excitement was quickly (and perhaps permanently) derailed. Though the downtown space is now much larger (and tastefully decorated), the staff were not as friendly or helpful as our previous trips, and the quality of the food has definitely suffered in whatever transition has taken place within the company. I was disappointed with the experience and will probably have to find a new favorite treat place in the city for our next visit.”

“I'm a fan of dive bars, personally. So, Garf's is right up my alley... But it's not only a dive bar. It's also a restaurant & has see pretty good food... Pool tables, lots of TVs, shuffle board, outdoor seating (&smoking area) & service has always been good. I love the dive bar feeling along with food. Great place to have drinks w friends or watch a ball game. And, it's conveniently located right near the 55, 405 & 73 Frwys. If you're looking for a nice place, go elsewhere. If yr looking for a good place to have fun, play some bar games, watch a game &/or just get drunk... Garf's is a perfect Go-To.”

“My wife and I were on a business trip and had a free evening to spend with another couple. My wife did a little research and found the Water Grill. We were blown away by the experience. The food and ambiance were top notch, but what separates the good and great restaurants is the service and the Water Grill hit that out of the park. Stephanie our waitress was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, gave great recommendations, and was incredibly kind to us. The manager Eliza stopped by and was also fantastic. We greatly enjoyed and were appreciative of such a fantastic experience.”

“I absolutely love the sourdough bread from here! I live sourdough in general but this place sets the gold standard for sourdough! I live all the way in Riverside and every time I'm in Orange County I make it a point to stop and get some to go. I always get the light baked oval. I take it home, toast it and then spread some Kerrygold Irish butter on it and let it melt.....OMG! I'll also use it to make Avocado toast for breakfast. BEST BREAKFAST EVER!”

“Having eaten Din Tai Fung more or less weekly when I lived in Singapore I was a tad concerned about whether the taste would match and I wasn’t disappointed in the least! I took 3 friends with me as they wanted to experience what I’d raved about for years. We arrived before opening and consequently queued for a short time but nothing like the wait we were expecting having read many reviews. I have to say I’ve read some very negative reviews and disagree with every single one of them. Please remember this is not a Dim Sum restaurant, it is a dumpling restaurant!! Very different concept. Nothing disappointed at all. The food was as delicious as in Asia. The staff were very efficient, very friendly and couldn’t have been any more helpful. We tried absolutely everything we’d been drooling over on our copious menu readings prior to our visit and for four of us the bill came to £160 so we were most happy to pay that. I cannot recommend enough that you make the effort to visit Din Tai Fung, we will certainly be back!!!”

“This is probably the best Claim Jumper location I've been too. Food was great, they're bacon-bacon ribeye is really good. Service was excellent. Our server, Eric, was friendly and prompt. Parking can be a bit difficult since it is in the South Coast Plaza but other than that it was great.”

“If you like Japanese BBQ, you will love it here. The wait can be lengthy so be prepared but in my humble opinion it is worth it. I love the miso chicken leg the best. The staff is always kind and attentive. I have not had anything bad.”

“Tasty, flavorful and simply delicious!! The quality of their ingredients along with broth and noodle is top notch! They are always busy even in the late evening hours. You have a variety of choices and also sides!!! I highly recommend getting their fried chicken! Also, they do have Sapporo Happy Hour Specials from 9-11p. GO CHECK THEM OUT!!!”

“I've been to plenty of Poke spots, which use the subway/chipotle model of "build it yourself", but this place stands out because although they do offer a build your own menu, they also have poke bowls that you can order and they make for you while you sit. I tried 3 and they were all delicious. Fish was fresh. When I walked in, a gentleman was cutting up a tuna in the kitchen! Will definitely come back. Shaka brah”

“Wonder why this place doesn't have 5 stars. Just the bread alone is 5 stars! I've had the Butternut Squash and the Tomato Soup on Bread Bowl (not pictured, I had it on a diff day) and both were so good and so filling. I've also had the Grilled Brie with Apple and Fig Jam and the Tuna Sandwich. Delicious. Can't wait to be back and try the other grilled sandwiches. I also want to mention, the service is great. The staff walking by checked on us maybe twice to see if we needed anything else.”

“Sept. Dear chef the salmon is Wonderful, always fresh and cooked rare just as I ordered melts in your mouth salmon. Good job. Keep it up. And the service is always on point. Thank you so much. ************ Aug. Good atmosphere good service. They tend to overcook their fish. Good food but I would like the salmon a little rare. Nail that chef and I'll keep coming back.”

“Pesto shrimp is absolutely delicious! Fresh with the right amount of seasoning. Shrimps are the perfect size. One thing I would like is a bit more pasta to compliment the savory taste. Best one eve!!”

“As always ... a perfect meal. Ambiance, service, and food were all excellent. Our waitress was delightful. We had the brunch burger, scallops with goat cheese risotto, and salmon salad. The desserts were particularly amazing (we shared six!).”

“This wasn't our first time and it never disappoints. Waited a few minutes for a table (didn't have lunch reservations). Our waitress was great. It seems she knew the right time to stop by our table, great service. The food was amazing. Our steak was amazing. The menu has great variety and everything we tried was great. The ambiance is nice, it's comfortable, upscale, but not over the top. Not you tipical "shopping mall lunch", it's nicer than that. Once can easily become a frequent visitor, it's really good. Valet is free if you are eating here (validation). Reservations are recommended.”

“Pretty cool looking McDonald's. it's not as big as most off the others I've been too it's actually quite small. They do have a lot more outdoor seating which I think is done on purpose ton make up for the limited indoor seating. They have a drive through which was a but slow but it was pretty busy when we went.”

“This is my second time at AnQi, and I honestly can say I am not impressed with their food. Service is impeccable and ambiance is top notched. However, I wouldn’t recommend the food. Both dishes I got was okay, nothing extraordinary that can’t be purchased at smaller Asian restaurant. Food presentation is sub par, for something they charged 20$ or more. You can get the same exact dish at places like Jumpa Thai for half the price, and twice as good. The chow fun noodle dish is by far the worse dish of it’s kind. This dish typically comes with Chinese broccoli. And lots more beef . They were skimping on the beef as well!!!”

“Going here for dinner, I was fortunate enough to get an outdoor dining seat. The location is in a mall area, although the entrance is off to the side. There is very limited parking immediately adjacent to the restaurant; you will likely have to park in the mall area, and walk a quick 5-10 minutes to get here. I ended up with a beer sausage plate. This was a good dining option, and a bit larger portion size than I was expecting (a good thing). The sweet potato fries and sauce had a little bit of a pleasant "kick" to them. The beer here was good; nothing that stood out as extraordinary, but solid and tasty.”

“What a fun place! We really enjoyed helping to create our specialized pizza. The person who was helping us with our order was great! He took the time to explain the process of how to create our own pizza. What can I say, we love coming here! I highly recommend trying this restaurant especially if you like to help create your own personalized food. (However, there's no way to go wrong since they also have options for people who just want to order from the menu).”
