“My visit there was.. just okay. Seeing the name, was expecting something else. When my boyfriend and I got there, it took the lady at the bar quite a bit to notice we were there. There were these two ladies that came in after us and sat next to us (regulars maybe? because the lady at the bar took shots with them) and that's when she finally noticed us. Once she finally saw us, it was okay. She was nice and got our order and drinks. Felt a bit of the favoritism towards her regulars. I had a burger but the patty didn't have much taste to it. We were in the middle of a shift change and the girl who we had afterwards was pretty awesome. Very attentive and super nice. The Spinach Artichoke dip had way too much onion in it, for my taste.”

“My family stops by here fairly often. We usually pick up some juice, then go eat at yoshinos around the corner. We used to bring the food and eat here, but they stopped allowing non vegan food in the eating area.”

“Very cool concept of pouring your own beer. You pick the beer, you pick how much you want. Nice atmosphere, but can get crowded. The food was OK, but I need to sample more items to review the food better. Staff was friendly.”

“This place has both a cozy bar and elegant table seating. In addition, there is a light sofa and two very comfortable chairs if that is what you are feeling. I am mostly at the bar. The staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient. The place's decor will appeal to your universal yearning for beauty with a nice paint scheme and interesting lighting. Beer and wine selection usually hits the spot as well as their eats although, as a vegan, there is hardly anything for me to choose from other than avocado toast.”

“So I have lived in oceanside my whole life tried numerous sushi places and for the price and the quality he is in my top 5. I own a shop around the corner and eat there 2 or 3 times a week never been disappointed gladly give it 5 stars. Reading the comments of people saying it lacks service well this is not a sushi restaurant it's a quick bite you dont go there to be waited on, you get your sushi to go or you sit at the table with what you bought simple as that. Enjoy this great place !”

“Mike was exceptional! Seriously the best guy! He cares so much, you can see it in his eyes. The food was delicious! Prices reasonable! I ordered the gnocchi and it didn’t turn out the best BUT they were so nice about it and brought me ravioli which tasted delicious!!! I also got to meet another sever named Justin who was very funny and just made the experience better!”

“Fine dining at it's best. Good food, great service. Made us really feel special. We showed up 5 min before closing. Yet accommodated us perfectly. We were the last table to leave. But no pressure to leave or no sign of lesser service. Few items ran out. A sign that they actually get limited but exclusive ingridients and freshly prepared food. The manager offered to switch preparation to satisfy our initial selections. Good choices in the menu. Seafood was excellent. Good selection of wine. Excellent overall. Definitely go there again.”

“Stoked to find this little oasis of peace and warmth on a rainy January afternoon in Southern California. Stopped in on a friend's recommendation for coffee, and was pleasantly surprised that they had a generous food menu in addition to the chalkboard items listed behind the board. The Turkey Bake sandwich hit the spot if you like those classic mustard and sauerkraut deli-style flavors. The latte was smooth and strong, just the right balance. Lots of seating arrangements, from counter style, to group tables, to quiet smaller tables for getting work done. Great food and drink, great ambiance, and great service...what more do you want?”

“This place has great food and a expansive menu for teas to all day breakfast. If you cant find something on there main lunch menu the breakfast menu is there. The outside seating is covered and a nice place to sit. Even though the close early they have great service and is a good place to eat. The atmosphere is great here and it's close to the beach which is easy to get there from the restaurant.”

“This place should be renamed CAMPFIRE-WHERE THE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE EAT. We were just going for a drink or two at the bar and meet up with some friends. The drinks are like artwork and were very good. We decided to stay for dinner which was excellent. Service was great. It's a really fun place to go and delicious. It's a very hip scene for sure”

“Lovely French restaurant. Stunning presentation of food. I could tell they had spent a lot of time on the presentation. And taste was as good as the looks. Server was very friendly and cultured. Various flavored blended perfectly for the palate. I took the Chefs Menu - they pick what they bring - and it was fantastic. Favorites were the Oyster, Scallops. Dessert was a stunning finale to the whole meal. Was seated outside - the heater was pretty good in winter - didn’t feel too cold.”

“First time in Carlsbad and we were hungry for a good burger. Saw some good reviews and decided to try it . So glad we did! We chose the Bleu craft with added mushrooms and the BBQ craft burgers, both cooked medium, along with the Late Night Fries. Seriously good food. Tasted so fresh and the meat was quality ! And those fries, delicious ! Even when we were full , we could not stop with those fries! The people working were awesome . Highly recommend!”

“Cool place. Good music. Most happening place in Carlsbad village area. Good service, great appetizers, great drinks. Loud but yet does not impede a conversation. Pretty packed usually in the weekends. Valet parking on the other side is very convenient and and not too expensive. We always meet here to have appetizers and drinks then move on to other spots for dinner. But dinner here is also good by the looks of what is being served in other tables.”

“Rotating Menu, fun cocktails & excellent service. I really don't drink cocktails but these are fun and the server/bartender helped me find a drink with little sugar. The salads are bomb and you can add protein which is helpful when trying to have a good time out with low sugar and carbs. I went for lunch today and plan to check out the dinner menu next weekend with friends.”

“Been here numerous times for the lunch special which is a very good deal. And, it's some of the best Indian/Nepali food I've ever tasted. Truly delicious, flavorful food. Tried most of the entrees on lunch menu and all are good. I look forward to having dinner here soon. Good service and ambiance too! 5 stars for quality and flavor.”

“Small little place tucked away. Went for my bday ( don’t expect any free desert ) and was disappointed that they do nothing for birthdays. It’s a great place to go with some friends to have a bite to eat and some drinks. I don’t drink but my husband loved their beer choices. Food was pretty good. We both had veggie burgers. Was pretty loud cause it’s so small. People constantly walking by. But not good for a quiet romantic dinner, if that’s what your looking for. Glad we went but probably won’t be going back together.”

“I’ve been here so many times i can’t believe I am just writing a review. Love this specific location because the staff is so nice and puts a smile on your face. I have tried a few different menu items and I am always pleased. I think my favorite by far is the Steak Benedict! I also love that they have freshly made juices. I highly recommend Swami’s in Carlsbad!”

“Wonderful food! This is a place we wouldn't miss coming to when we are in the area. Their chicken cream soup is amazing, their homemade chips are melt in your mouth delish! And that is just the beginning! Everything we've had there has been worth coming back for again! Everyone is friendly and helpful there as well.”

“It has been my all time favorite pizza place since I was 8. I returned here to try it again 10 years later and it is still as amazing as I remembered!!! I just returned her again today. My family was driving from San Diego to LA on our spring break and stopped in Carlsbad just to have knockout pizza again! Still just as good as I remembered it when I first had knockout 12 years ago. Knockout pizza is and will forever be my favorite pizza place. Every time I’m in California I make it my personal pilgrimage to go to knockout. Thank you!!”

“Wing Wednesday is a great deal! The wings are really good too, get all the sauces. The pizza however fell short. We got the Roma to share and it was under cooked, and soggy- like a steak pizza type of thing. The crust wasn’t even crispy... so soggy. So unsatisfying! Next time we’ll get a personal pizza- hopefully it’ll be cook better. The beers are always good. The place is big, nice big patio area too- but always packed!”

“The organic buckwheat pancakes were very good, but had to ask for butter. The buttermilk pancakes were good with blueberries. Service was very slow, received coffee after a long wait and had to ask for creamer and was half done with coffee when it came. Most likely will not return.”

“Stopped in to try out the happy hour specials. We were seated in the bar area, which had booths and tables in addition to the bar. The happy hour menu was affordable and had a lot of choices ranging from 4$-8$. We had the fish tacos, Cajun fish bites and the new England chowder fries with cheddar and bacon. Cajun fish bites didn't have a lot of "Cajun" flavor. And the chowder fries didn't have have a lot of chowder, mainly bacon & cheese, regardless everything tasted good. Would definitely come back to try out some other menu items.”
