“The Green Acre prises itself for serving organic food, but they fail on another aspect of being eco-friendly — they use plastic utensils and plastic water cups like a cheap eatery at a freeway runoff. Considering that they are managed by Alexandria and somewhat related to the more upscale Farmer & The Seahorse, they should pay more attention to plates and utensils. I can live with paper bowls if they don't want to bother washing real ceramic bowls, but I absolutely abhor disposable plastic items like forks and cups. Customers just throw them away, and even those who throw them in a recycling bin cannot hope for these items to be recycled — we all know that recycling used to mean sending junk to China, but since 2017 China does not accept it anymore. I suggest to the management to provide real metal utensils and reusable water cups if they want to support their message of upscale eco-friendliness. As for the food, it was OK. The chicken in my salad was a bit dry, but overall it was an interesting and reasonably-sized combination of greens and meat.”

“My friend ordered Greek burrito. They didn't have the ingredients & recommended chicken burrito instead. It was made with chicken sandwich cold cuts... pretty pathetic. I ordered breakfast burrito. I ate part of it before I noticed it was missing black beans and salsa. The guy at the counter rolled his eyes when I mentioned it. Instead of making a new one he opened my partially eaten burrito, added the missing ingredients, and rolled it back up... not cool. I dont recommend.”

“Blue Box has really good bagels and quite a lot of different options for bagel sandwiches. We come here often for lunch and it usually isn’t crowded. What we really like about this place is that they serve kombucha and other drinks like coffee and smoothies. Also, we really like the cookies that they have at the register, they are probably the best cookies I’ve ever tried, definitely recommend!!”

“The food was really good and it’s a cool place. Service is a little too attentive though. Waitress nabbed my drink before I had a chance to finish it to “get it out of the way” and different people kept interrupting our conversation to see if we wanted anything else.”

“I received excellent customer service from this Panera and I will be back. One of the servers realized I had ordered the wrong salad, took back my order and replaced it before I could even get to the front to tell the person I ordered it from. I felt very well attended to and cared for.”

“Love Coffee Cup. Great fresh ingredients and very vegan and vegetarian friendly. Right in downtown LA Jolla. Food is great. a little pricey but it is worth it to me. Parking can be tough as it is mostly street parking but if you park far enough away, it isn't that bad. Beach is walkable from here so it's a nice stroll to walk off all the food you just ate. I would highly recommend this brunch spot.”

“This is the absolute best McDonald's ive ever been to. Its SUPER clean. The staff all seem happy to work there and the food is so fresh. Im not usually a fan of fast food but i find myself looking forward to picking up some McDonald's”

“This is the McDonald's at the border crossing in San Ysidro. The food is ordinary McDonald's and the people are friendly. The place itself is unusual, the confluence of various activities having nothing to do with eating. Tourists eat and rest there. People wait there for transport across California. Border inspectors and others from the Customs house eat there. Between 1 am and 5 am tourists accumulate there waiting for the San Diego Trolley to resume service. In the past you could arrange a border jump there with coyotes. Bathroom costs 25 U.S. cents. It's warm in winter.”

“The food was inexpensive and really good. You better be hungry when going there because the amount of food you get is a large portion. We didn’t have to wait long to order and get our food. That said you should get there at a decent time otherwise it fills up. All the employees where very kind and got our food to us in less then 10 min. Would recommend this to everyone. The food and atmosphere was fantastic.”

“Wonderful spot for a BIG or a LITTLE dinner party. We celebrated two birthdays with about 20 people and ordered a large variety of dishes. We decided the FOUR (?) Cheese Pizza was the BEST. We also brought our own wine. Waved the corkage fee for our party. VERY NICE.”

“Easily one of the best brunch places on the coast! Try the Tahitian French Toast with grilled pineapples! To back up this great restaurant with more emotional impact, my wife and I checked into our hotel and were treated less than desirably by the hotel staff. So when we wake up in the morning still grumpy trying to figure out what we're going to do for breakfast we were walking down towards the beach to see what there was and it Shorehouse Kitchen was the first thing we see. It was so inviting, all of the employees are smiling we must have caught him on a really good day, changed our entire trip!”

“Delicious food (I had the butternut squash panini with potato salad), affordable pricing, quick service and incredible ocean views. Parking can be a bit tricky (the lots require UCSD parking permits on weekdays), but Caroline’s is worth hunting for a parking spot on the street. Plus, they have beer, wine and cocktails! Just don’t tell too many people about this gem...”

“My only complaint is the lack of parking near the front door. Food was fine, service was good, but we had to park away from the building in order to get a space. It was a but confusing but it's just a badly set up lot.”
