“Favorite hand roll place ever. First time I had this, i couldn't believe my taste buds. I couldn't believe something as simple as seaweed, rice, and fish could taste so good.. and without needing it to be dipped in soy sauce either. The best part of the hand rolls here is that the rice is warm and the filling is somewhat salty which I love. This place is kind of pricy but soo worth it. The first time I came here, I had the 5 hand roll option. It was so delicious, I wanted more. My favorite rolls are the toro and yellowtail hand rolls.”

“Loved our visit!! I ordered the ceasar wrap with a glass of the Black Cap chardonnay and highly recommend! It was absolutely delicious and the perfect light & healthy lunch. My boyfriend had the bacon cheeseburger and Figueroa beer and practically finished it all in seconds, it was that good. Fast and friendly service and a beautiful patio with a lot of space to stay distanced from other customers. Will definitely be coming back next time we’re in town!”

“Simply charming you are El Rancho Market! So welcoming that you are always a must stop for me whenever in Solvang! Although a tad more expensive than other local supermarket moguls, what El Rancho offers is worth the money. Fresh, organic produce, grass fed meats, natural foods, vast selection of local wines, cheeses, cutesy home decor and lets not forget about the deli and bakery section. Fresh in house sandwiches, rotating hot dishes for breakfast, lunch or dinner meals, great sushi and oh my on their desserts! Baked daily, their wide arrangements of cakes and pastries are simply delightful! The atmosphere, the goods, friendly service and overall experience is truly enjoyable. So enjoyable it's probably the only time you will catch me inside a market.”

“Nice to sit down and be waited on, albeit outside. Nice menu, very tender filet skewers, sweet scallops. Excellent salad. Service was a bit slow, my meal was missing its sauce - wouldn't have noticed except another diner ordered the same thing. Craft cocktail was good. Outdoor seating looked out over rooftop utilities and you could hear AC compressors. Still, it was very nice to get out of the house!”

“Came here on Saturday July 21, 2018 around 6:30/7pm. My friend and I arrived to enter through a door with fig growing all over the outside walls. It was hidden. It set the perfect scene for what was inside. You walk in and are greeted by a gorgeous and intimate bar and tables with low lights for ambiance.”

“Ordered: 2 Sliders & 2 Tenders with cheese fries, extra hot - Nashville hot at its finest! - 2 Sliders with fries combo is definitely enough for 2 as a small meal. Sliders is a misnomer - these are full on chicken sandwiches! - Even after sitting on a counter and in a car for almost an hour, the chicken was more than delicious. Juicy, tender, and importantly perfect heat without sacrificing flavor. - After an hour, cheese fries were less than ideal but they were still nicely seasoned!”

“This is one of our favorite local haunts. The owners and staff are absolutely wonderful and the food is fantastic. I love their falafel, hummus, kebab, soup, etc. My absolute favorite is the Greek Salad with chicken. My teenagers love the hamburgers as well as the lamb kebab. Great selection of IPA. They have my favorite Topa Topa as well... Chief Peak! Highly recommended by our entire family.”

“I’ve had breakfast at the Longhorn 8 or 9 times over the past 5 months. The food is good but about a dollar or two over priced per plate for what it is. The coffee is horrible, reminds me of Folgers if you skimped on the recommend amount per pot. The last two times I’ve eaten there with this morning being no exception the service leaves a lot to be desired. On one instance the misses and myself went there for breakfast, ordered our food and waited and waited and waited. Tables of bigger parties ordered after us and received their meals before us, some time before us I might add. When we finally got our food it was cold. I’m an understanding person so I didn’t make fuss about it we just ate and left. I had intended to say something when I paid once the cashier asked “ how was everything?” But she never asked simply stated what I owed and that was it. She didn’t ask, I didn’t say. This morning I order my meal, it arrived in a timely fashion and was hot. I asked for a condiment and the waitress quickly brought it to me but it was empty. Not only empty but dried remnants of the sauce remained on the cap and down the side, the bottle had clearly not been sanitized let alone clean. But these things happen so I politely tell her it was empty she apologized and went to grab me another, it too was empty and had the remnants of dried sauce on the lid. She never returned to our table after this until she brought the check. I’m sorry Longhorn I wanted to support you. The food is made in a good Ol’fasion way, the location is timeless but the service and quality especially for the price just leaves too much to be desired.”

“My wife and I are regular boaters up at Lake Cachuma. We have had many items on the HOOK'd menu and they ALL have been delicious! We especially love getting a breakfast burrito and taking it with us on the boat! Today I had the sirloin sandwich. The roll was fresh and toasted and the sirloin was grilled outdoors on oak to perfection and sliced thin--best sandwich I've had in some time! I most highly recommend the food at HOOK'd--a well deserved 5 stars!!!”
