“My wife and I went to Crested Butte for a weekend getaway and a buddy recommended this place..... And I am so glad he did. If you want some amazing food, unbelievable service this needs to be atop your list. Fletcher has an extremely creative menu, the picture below is the "Sloppy Philly" and it was the best thing I ate all weekend. I would drive back to South Crested Butte just for the food.”

“So, it's just an awesome view. Used to be they had an ice bar, now not. It's expensive because it's right on the slopes. The only way to get there is to ski in. Food isn't great, but it'll do. The beer selection is good but limited. All in all, you should stop by. Makes for great pictures and good memories.”

“José delivers on every level, despite the obvious challenges of operating a seasonal restaurant. The location simply cannot be beat (that view!), the management staff is professional, friendly, and obviously does whatever they can to keep the place running smoothly, the food is far better than what you normally would find next to the lift at the base of a ski mountain, and the ambiance and vibe are chill/fantastic. Do yourself a favor, grab a margarita, a Mexican shrimp cocktail, and a blanket, and park yourself at the fire pit. You might make a new friend over some live music! A+ all the way around.”

“Great small ice cream place. Portions are good sized and ice cream prices are definitely a good value. The ice cream (sorbet, actually) I had wasn't too sweet and had plenty of fruit bits in it. I'd say it tastes like homemade ice cream as advertised, especially with the lower sweetness. Indoor seating was good, but I have to deduct a star for the frankly dilapidated outdoor seating. The paint is chipped on all of the outdoor furniture, and they don't appear to be tended to for cleanliness.”

“Stopped in for lunch. Place was not busy and the staff was friendly. Inside was dimly lit, so eyes had a bit to adjust. Menu was quaint, but they had good options. Cool ideas for recipes. The food came out wonderfully. Lots of flavor packed into each sandwich. Hit the spot after a day on the slopes. The drink options were vast, but I chose a beer with the sandwich. Not terrible for mountain food on price.”

“Very cute and tasty lunch spot. We ordered the tomato bisque with added crab, the seasonal chef salad, and the burger, finishing with the two tasty dessert bites. Everything was very high quality and extremely delicious, and staff was attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for high class establishment, just be aware that people may line up before they open at 1130, so it doesn’t hurt to be a little early.”

“This place is really cool if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle. The restaurant had good food and the waitress was very helpful when we asked where to go to see wildlife. I would love to go back and snowmobile the trails in the winter. Very clean!! Nice sized rooms. Cool atmosphere including a shared outside deck area. Bands planned on the weekends with a nice outdoor area to enjoy it all. Would definitely stay here again if in the area!!”

“Consistently great food and service (everything we've had has been top notch) our meals are regularly followed by hot from the oven chocolate chip cookies. Due to the increasing popularity and demand for GREAT BBQ (best in the state as far as we're concerned) the wait time for a table has increased and you really should have more than 1 unisex restroom. Most foodies don't mind the drive and as a photographer, it's not a hardship to travel to this beautiful location for fantastic food! We have been fans of Slow Groovin' BBQ since the beginning and will continue to anxiously await their opening every year... planning as many trips as we can to visit before their season ends. Thanks to the owners and crews who work so hard doing what they love! Keep it up!! (Dined again 7-2-22) 17 year Anniversary for us.. I think it's 9-11 years for SG BBQ. “The food was amazing, I had the make you own omelette with toast and fries. They staff was pretty nice and helpful but in order to get through to the back porch you had to walk through the mess that was the kitchen. The back of the restaurant seemed run down and needed an update! The kitchen staff was not friendly and any time I took the trek from the back porch to the front through the kitchen they just stared at me. This alone ruined the neat rustic environment for me.”

“Stopped in to try some of the beers from Irwin since the main brewery is production only. The beers were pretty good. I especially liked the Mexican Lager. The cask condition pulls weren't my thing, but wanted to try them since there aren't many cask conditioned ales out there. We were still pretty full from lunch that we ended up back there a few hours later. The roasted beet salad with blackened trout was good. It was a massive portion too! Bartender was really cool as well.”

“My friend and I arrived around 4:30pm on a Friday evening and was seated right away. Our waitress, Martha K, was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered the House Hot Sake, Kimchi, Chinese Dumplings, and Orange Chicken. Everything was delicious! I must admit – they have the best orange chicken! It was very satisfying! Ryce Asian Bistro is very popular in town and can get super busy in the evenings. I highly recommend arriving a little before 5pm if you want to avoid a long wait. Surely give this a place a try if you are in Crested Butte!”

“Genuinely one of the best -- if not the best -- restaurants I've ever eaten at. Everything, from the menu itself to the plates and glasses the food was served in to the decor of the restaurant to the overall atmosphere, was chosen with great care and a lot of thought. The food on the menu is original and creative (which is not something I come across very often) and made by people who obviously know what they're doing and know food. not to mention that everything was so fresh and tasted absolutely delicious. wish more restaurants like this existed.”
