“I have been here twice so far. Both times what I've tried has been better than good. The villager i had on wheat toast and even though I received it with no condiments it was still good. I also had turkey delight and I meant to hold the tomatoes but even with the tomatoes it lived up to its name. It had a good amount of sprouts, tomato wasn't soggy, and the herb and garlic spread was a great touch. I also tried their cinnamon buns, coffee cake (one of the best i ever had), and raspberry rugalach (sp?) and all were good. I mean pricing is high especially for the portions and sizes but it definitely is quality. The customer service leaves a little to be desired but not complaint worthy. I'll be back.”

“We experienced Mexicue for the first time at their new Westport location! The fusion of Mexican and BBQ is super unique and something that I think works really well together. We absolutely loved the nachos we had for an appetizer - plenty of toppings spread throughout, and the burnt ends added on was a game changer. The guac was tasty too, and I really liked the bacon. We enjoyed our tacos, but I was a little disappointed in the lack of ground beef filling on the El Americano (folded taco in the pictures, I probably should've taken a pic of it opened), especially considering the taco goes for over $7. The birria platter was a great size, and we liked the pulled pork tacos. However, we did find the consome broth to be a bit too salty, and I would've been happier with less pickled red onions on the rice and beans. Loved the street corn ribs though, it made it very easy to eat! Overall, I was impressed with the service and how quickly the food came out for such a newly opened restaurant, they were definitely on the ball. We had a nice date night here, and I think we'll both be thinking about those nachos for a while!”

Reservations at this point in time are all done over the phone and the last time I was there (about a week ago or two from this review post date) they do not accept reservations between the 6:30-7:30 time frame but accept all walk-ins during this time frame. My go-to dish is their Hamachi Crispy Rice and Hungarian Stuffed Cabbage.”

“We had the most wonderful dinner at this new Restuarant! I had one of their specials, jumbo scallops & a veggie medley. The scallops were perfectly cooked and the veggie medley was heavenly! My husband had shrimp & scallops with a side of polenta. He was very happy with his choice, although too much polenta for him. The desserts were divine too! The service was super and we liked the cosy atmosphere. It was especially nice with their two fireplaces going. We highly recommend Bora Restaurant in Bethel. We will need back soon!”
