“I'm in town for work and have eaten here twice in the last week because it's SO GOOD!! Perfectly buttery lobster rolls were on special one night and on the other night I had one of the best burgers of my life (and I explore great burgers everywhere)! It was just a basic black and blue burger, I had to ask for lettuce and tomato since veggies on burgers is unusual here, but the meat was so juicy and flavorful - I couldn't put it down and I was sad when it was gone. Just writing this I feel like I need to go get another one. The atmosphere is great too with its old brick tavern feel.”

“Been coming here for years and the staff and food are still great. i was there recently when the customer who left a negative review was being extremely disrespectful to one of the staff, insulting her intelligence and belittling her, claiming that she would no longer be a manager after he had the chance to speak to the owner. after listening to him degrade her for over 5 minutes i couldn't hold my tongue anymore and let him know he was acting like a child very straightforwardly. he made a scene embarrassing himself in the store, then came online to continue doing so; saying i was an employee, which is false, and that i called the police, which is also not true. that said, i appreciate the staff for keeping their cool, even though they were very visibly uncomfortable with the entire situation, and i greatly look forward to my next visit!”
