“Beautiful place and everyone was extremely nice and welcoming .Food was delicious and very good prices. We had the chicken tostadas and they were delicious. We also had the chicken mofongo we asked if they could make it without the pork and they did and it was delicious as well ,very good portions and price. We were extremely excited to see the robotic servers. Very cool place to come to , we will definitely come back here with the whole family . Very friendly staff.”

“Had dinner and drinks after sailing all day. Ordered the lobster roll, $28 I Believe. Came hot buttered with fries and slaw. The lobster tasted great. Seemed fresh and was sweet. Fries were crispy and the slaw was good. It may have been the beer after all day in the sun but this was a great lobster. Way better than crabby Al's and better than Oar Weed in Maine, at 60% of the price. No need to ever go back to Oar Weed. Also had the crab cakes, they were good too, but I don't get them enough to critique. Sat out on the deck, overlooking the Niantic river, watching the sun set. Perfect atmosphere for me, and plenty of parking with by boat trailer.”

“Went here for an early dinner and a couple of beers a few days back. Prices are about average. Beers selection was pretty good, and I think they’re all from Five Churches Brewing. We were seated facing the entrance corridor and our view was of a wooden barrier which I thought was odd. Service was pretty good. The pretzel was better than the entrees”

“My husband and I went for dinner today. It was our first time at the restaurant. We were greeted, seated & served by a very sweet young lady named Kate. (I hope I got that right) We got there about 4pm so it wasn't busy & had a chance to have a sweet conversation with her in-between here taking care of other guest that starting coming in. I had the Bolognese and my husband had Lasagna both of which were very delicious. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back.”

“So thrilled to have it back open - and with amazing food! We are incredibly privileged to live nearby. I grew up coming here and just brought my daughter for her first experience. Service was excellent, the food came out quickly and all 7 of us had excellent meals and appetizers. Our kid was even eating handfuls of clams linguini. Great vibe, very laid back and friendly with delicious food. Looking forward to seeing how they continue to grow! We came early at 5:30pm because we had a kid with us and it was still starting to get very busy by the time we left. Definitely a destination spot in New London already.”

“Been going here since it originally opened for as long as I could remember. Food was always good. Then when it closed it was upsetting. When I heard it was reopening as well as the lighthouse inn(later on in possibly 2023 in late summer) I was thrilled. So I had gone a few days after opening. The food was alright and they only had some beer and wine options. Now as of the time of reviewing and returning after several trips since reopening, they gave their liquor license and the food has significantly improved. I'd suggest the clam chowder, tavern burger, NY Strip, their salads, and the brownie cheese cake. Obviously they have many other good options. The one I'd suggest to maybe pass on it the fried chicken sandwich. The crust holds onto to much grease and it a off putting taste. Maybe they will try a different flour or breading for it but for that item I'd suggest to pass. Their adult liquor drinks can be on the strong side so be for warned. If that's okay with you then great. I don't mind it especially after a long day/week. But the staff and all who work there is fantastic from the hosts to the servers especially the people that make the drinks like Liz and Steve. So next time your in the area please give them a try. The prices vary from about $10-$32 I believe which is the NY strip steak. You won't be hopefully disappointed. Tell them I sent ya.”
