“I love the comedy here but I also can't talk highly enough about how great the staff is, they always go above and beyond which is why it's me and my husband's favorite spot for some laughs. Good customer service is tough to find at comedy clubs but this place really strives on providing the best of the best, people seem like they enjoy working here. I also like that they really care about providing the best comedic talent. We were so happy to find this comedy club in Washington, DC a few months back.”

“Loved the atmosphere! Cozy and intimate. Food is good with a nice variety of options. Prices are good. We ate upstairs and could hear the jazz band downstairs, which is fine so we could visit. The band was excellent. I believe there is a 10.00 per person for down stairs with live viewing of the band. Reservations are a must.”

“Comfortable chill atmosphere. It got kinda hood as the night went on. Good hookah and decent drinks. I didn't like the fact that they had a minimum of $90 for two people if you wanted to table. I thought that was ridiculous. So I just sat at the bar with my date and we had a good time. Maybe the required 90 was after a certain time so I would recommend getting there early.”

“Fun atmosphere and friendly service. We went after a Georgetown game and they were super busy but our order was taken quickly and our food came out fast. The fish and chips, fish tacos, and voodoo sandwich were great! The tater tots were overdone and we had to wait a bit for our bill but they were swamped and we were impressed with how well they handled the crowd. We enjoyed our visit!”

“The place is fun and has atmosphere and the service is very nice. However, the restaurant does appear on number of to-go gluten free places. IT IS NOT A gluten free restaurant! As a gluten allergic person you can have max 20% of the menu - after adjustments. There are several options for gluten free beer, but those as well come from one or two producers.”

“Great service, the hours are weird . This beautiful place is not always open! They have weird days and hours. But its a great Rooftop in DC with happy hour.”

“I like this club. Get a ticket on eventbrite and show up early before 11 or 12 to get in free. Don’t wear sweat or track pants. And no hats. I only go on Tuesdays and Thursdays when they have $2 and $3 drinks specials!! Most of the women look good. Never had a table. But $20 on Tuesdays will get you 10 drinks! Quality drinks like Hennessy and Ciroc. No one will pressure you to tip although some dancers will ask u for a dance which I believe is like $10. It’s fun. Great music. Follow these rules so you don’t spend a lot.”

“This place is a hidden gem, came here on a rainy night while passing through the area visiting a cigar buddy who lives in Bethesda. Looked this place up, came here to enjoy a nice night out to relax with a good cigar, cocktail, and some espresso. The service was great and the staff is on point. Their smoked Manhattan I had was impressive. Definitive give it try if you intrigued to, you won't be disappointed.”

“Located at a convenient location! It’s a two floor restaurant bar that has a great variation in their menu and great atmosphere! Food and drinks are very affordable. Staff is friendly! I have organized several events here and it’s my number one place to do private events. Parking is easy to find and there is enough street lights that make it even safest.”

“The rooftop has great views and a really nice atmosphere. It seems that they're renovating or something so they've revamped the lobby into a nice bar area in the meantime. I can't wait until the rooftop opens back up.”

“I’ve had really good experiences. Friendly staff and very fancy design— both the interior and exterior. The Next Whiskey Bar and Rooftop are marvelous. Zachariah, the head bellman, is a very knowledgeable individual who is great to talk to and is very professional. The only downside is the exuberant prices, but you are paying for quality.”

“Had an absolutely amazing time. Extremely attentive servers, incredible atmosphere and steak and a Mac and cheese that I'm pretty sure pushes the limits of the amount of dopamine taste buds should trigger in the brain. Couldn't recommend this place more. Also I think the butter rum I tried may be the start of a dangerous habit.”

“Fantastic food. Get the meat sampler if it's your first time for Ethiopian. They say it's for 3 but could easily feed 4. Great service, very attentive. Low prices. I left full and happy!”

“Visited here for drinks while family was in town. Nice atmosphere with small couch areas to relax and have drinks. I wish they has a few more low carb options on the menu but I know bar food isn't usually low carb.”

“I stayed at the historic Churchill hotel and dined at the Chartwell Grill twice. The service on both occasions was excellent, the food less impressive. Breakfast for standard fare was good and served well, Dinner however had some disappointments. I started with the Crab Bisque which was tasty but felt assembled as the textures of the components felt that they had bed cooked to different levels, leaving some with crunch and others nearly falling apart. For my entree I had the "Tenderloin tips", the textures where wrong telling that these were sirloin tips being over sold. If the "caramelized" onions saw the grill for 3 minutes I'd be shocked, they were little more than raw. The mushrooms, fingerling potatoes, and demi were very tasty and all told the dish could be sold this way, however a skilled dinner will see through the farce vs reality off the menu and what is delivered.”

“Really enjoyable food and cocktails. Dining room is upstairs and very cozy. Menu is small but the food is very well-made. I highly recommend the salad. Although not inexpensive, prices were reasonable for 14th st/U st.”

“After a nice dinner at Busboys and Poets... The place is good for a quick hookah and drink if you are around. However it stinks a bit (piss?), and the drinks are just ok. When it got busy, the server even forgot we existed. Isn't there a really nice and decent hookah place with a good bar and clean corners in town?? I have come to believe that this is the standard for hookah places around here.”

“I went to this restaurant for Happy Hour for a friend's birthday. I was a little skeptical because it was a pretty far commute for me but it was worth it! The happy hour deals were good but what was even better was how good the food and margaritas were from the Happy Hour menu! The margaritas were delicious yet fairly strong. I ordered a cheese quesadilla from the Happy Hour menu and it looked small but after I ate it I realized it was very filling and so good! I would definitely go again!”
