“Wow. Amazing flavor. The jerk chicken was mind blowing smoky goodness and paired perfectly with sweet habanero sauce. Everything else was excellent - rice and peas, cabbage stir fry, candied yams, collard greens, reggae rice, fried plantains, and porridge.”

“Was fortunate to see their tent at the Capital Harvest at the Plaza. We tried the chicken kebab salad and beef kebab. Everything was so flavorful and FRESH! The salad was delicious. Even the bread is really good! And their portions are generous- especially on the salad. I highly recommend!”

“What an absolute gem! It’s a wonderful new place in Georgetown. The burger was fantastic, the desserts were good as well. Service and atmosphere are fantastic. The bartender is very funny and all the servers are very nice. They really made us feel welcomed. Definitely recommend the Au Poivre burger.”

“Friendly and fast services. They must have really good chef . Everything tasted fresh and well seasoned. Ordered food for family dinner on my way home . I arrived at Aladddin house of kabob 20 min later everything was ready to go. 5 stars all the way. Highly recommended.”

“There are variety of options, offering something for every taste. The bagel sandwiches are a delightful treat, with a crunch on the outside that adds an extra layer of satisfaction. The flavors are on point, creating a delicious harmony. The friendly atmosphere and prompt service make this place a good option for anyone looking to start their day with a tasty breakfast.”

“Impressed. Marketing themselves as true Greek food v. American Greek, Boston-born Greco is more Greece than America. The loukoumades (Greek doughnuts) on the menu prove it. Walk inside Greco’a first location in D.C. and find a large dining room with a glass side room. The menu is clear and you order like at Chipotle. There are pitas and platters. Pick one of five meats, a vegan option, and two vegetarian options and add toppings. The pitas come with seasoned fries inside and the platters come with sides like Greek slaw or bean salad. The pork pita with tzatziki and onions was a delight. It was flavorful and perfectly filling. Their pitas are warm and soft. The classic loukoumades were hot and just a tad sweet. They sell a variety of bottled drinks but go for the orange blossom lemonade or Greek mountain tea. Those come with free refills and taste refreshing. There are restrooms, the space is clean, and service is friendly and efficient.”

“Really cute cafe with a cozy and rustic yet chic atmosphere. My sister and I had lunch here and ordered the farro salad and turkey club sandwich. The food was not anything particularly special but it was really delicious! This is the type of place where you want to just sit and soak in the vibes. I only wish I had had room for dessert because all the pastries looked so delectable!”

“We had a divine four-course tasting at La Bohème. Everyone loves to tout a "hidden gem," but this was truly a wholly unique and well-hidden experience. We entered through Apéro, where we were received warmly and led upstairs. What used to be the landlord's apartment is now an intimate dining space with music, decor, and a menu thoughtfully curated to fit the current theme: Shakespeare. Our server was fantastic, walking us through the inspiration for the dishes as they came out. Each was elegant, flavorful, and fun, but the gnocchi was a standout! While any tasting menu is a special treat, we'd love to regularly try each new menu crafted by the team at La Bohème.”

“I had passed by this place many times and was always interested to check it out. My first meal was at home through a delivery app. The food was good. It was fresh and clean. The next day, I ended up heading to the restaurant to dine in. Ordering is simple because they have touch screens available where one can order and pay (credit card, mobile pay…). The interior is simple and enough for dining quick on your way to another plan. The second time, the quality was still good and everything was tasty. I’ll certainly continue heading here regularly. Thank you.”

“Potentially the past super negative reviews were warranted, but I just went for the first time today and had a great experience. For the price you cannot beat the selection and the crab fried rice and the Peking duck was super solid and presented nicely. Would go back just to order that again multiple times. Service was a good pace, some items came out quickly while others took a bit longer. To address some of the criticism about service, today’s staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. They even changed out our plates a few times and were super quick to top off bottomless drinks. There is something for everyone here, and given location, price, variety I’d say well worth it. Looking forward to going back.”

“We LOVE this restaurant. Get the kebabs.... They are.EXCEPTIONAL. I don't usually say that about a restaurant. The chef is from Morocco and the lamb kebobs are the BEST we've ever had (and we lived in that region)! Our server Connor was friendly and the service was great. The restaurant is roomy and it feels cozy at the same time. Alley Cat has a long fancy bar for those who want a drink. We reserved through Google Assistant for a table of 7. Our table was ready when we arrived. It was our first time at this new place. We'll be back Alley Cat!”

“Delicious goat cheese and fig ice cream! Rich, but no too rich. Big chunks of fig. Mmmm. Nice outdoor seating area. Service was quick and friendly on a Tuesday night. I would leave 4.5 stars if I could only because there weren’t many flavors that felt compelling but she said it was her first week so she’ll figure out what people what. (Hint:more chocolate!).”

“What a beautiful experience! Upscale cafe with excellent sandwiches, breads, pastries and also offers a fantastic selection of wines. Definitely a bit of a European feel. The place is very clean and calm and a lovely spot to spend an afternoon! Evelyn is amazing and we truly enjoyed our time here, looking forward to returning!”

“So nice place found surprisingly! I loved that they have a Ukrainian cook and some of the dishes were so well-known and so tasty! My salmon avocado croissant was so huge, that I had to share it with my daughter))) Tasty fresh food, cozy atmosphere, friendly and kind personnel - I truly recommend to visit this place if you’ll be close by the United railway station in Washington Good luck guys and will see you next time when I’ll be in the city!”

“We really enjoyed our food at Pupatella. They use Italian flour to make their pizza crust. The pizza has a very thin crust, so it does not support more than 4 toppings including sauce and cheese. Our toppings were flavorful- the meatball was our favorite. The regular size pizzas each are about one serving. Service was fast- It was busier and took about 10 minutes to get the custom pizzas we ordered. While efficient, our wait staff was extremely direct and short. A bit like Italy, I felt as if I was bothering them. More saying this for management and improving not because it impacted our food.”

“Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by the friendly cashier. She helped me order the NY street platter and party wings. The customer service was excellent. The food quality was outstanding and delicious. I highly recommend anyone to visit the Dolphin restaurant, as they have a great menu and a variety of selection of seafood, chicken, fish platter items. I give it a 10/10.”

“My friends and I had such a GREAT experience during our visit on a Friday night! Marvin our server was Fantastic !! He was attentive, professional, and very personable The food and drinks were perfect and came out fast! The restaurant was clean all the way down to the bathrooms. Marvin even allowed me to use a phone charger as my phone had died and didn’t have a charger. :) 10/10 I Will definitely come here again.”

“I’ve never had Koshary before. I wanted to try it on a recent trip to the Middle East but I wasn’t able to make it to the restaurant I picked out so when I got back to DC I was determined to find a place that serves it. So glad I found this place. The dish is so delicious and the flavor and texture combination is addicting. I am already planning to go back next weekend. I love that it’s vegan too but feels substantial enough to keep you full. Inshallah they open a brick & mortar at some point so I can have it more often. I also got the hibiscus drink which was somewhat similar to how they make it in Mexico. Highly recommend with the Koshary it goes well.”

“Genuinely some of the best vegan food I've ever had. There used to be a place in DC called Sweet & Natural that had really great comfort food, so I was worried when it closed I might not find anywhere else - Zoe nails it! Had the jerk tofu, Mac and cheese, and collard greens, and loved all of it!”

“Food is not what I expected from such a chef. Sweet potato fries so salty and over seasoned to be inedible. Detracts from natural flavor. Pretzel greasy and underwhelming. Wish they had a better beer draft selection. Hoping things get better as they are new.”
