“Loved this place! The french onion soup was awesome. I got their lobster and shrimp alfredo. It was really yummy with a generous portion. It has a spicy kick to it but not too bad. My husband got the catch of the day and he loved it as well. He said the cooked spinach was great too.”

“A friend who lives in Port St Joe recommended TIGF to us.. After entering I found it spacious and warm. There is not a lot of seating which is nice. This is your typical quaint European restaurant with amazing food. My wife and I had the chicken panini with salad and a side of fries. For dinner we had the lasagna. This will be a regular stop for lunch and dinner for sure. Highly recommend!!!”

“Food was good, but not great. I had fried chicken special and my wife had fried mullet. The mullet was fried with the skin on. The fried okra was really good and the onion rings were really tasty although the breading crumbled off of most of them. The Dr. Pepper was a little flat.”

“This restaurant has been one of the best places I have eaten at since I have been on vacation! The service was magnificent and the owner was one of the nicest people you can meet. If you come I definitely recommend the shrimp and corn nuggets all of the food was hot and delicious. 1000/10 I definitely recommend! The restaurant was clean and amazing if you are nearby I would definitely come by.”

“Lovely atmosphere. Chaz greeted us immediately and seated us. She and AC were our servers and were top notch. Nice selection of craft beers on tap and a decent wine list although they were out of my first choice. Full bar is available so I started with a vodka gimlet which was passable. Warm goat cheese appetizer was incredible. Two different pizzas from their wood fired oven and both were absolutely delicious. Got dessert to go.”

“We were looking for Chinese on goggle and this place came out. When we first arrive to the place, we thought the place was close. There was no body seating at the tables and we couldn't tell if there was anyone at the counter. One of the doors was locked and other door needed an extra pull to open it. We placed our order and waited about 30 minutes. I thought that was fast considering that we ordered for 14 people. While waiting, people came in and out to pick up their orders. For my meal, I had Lo mein noodles, coconut chicken, sweet and sour soup. My least favorite was the nooodles. They were over cooked and mushy for my taste. I like them chewy and smoky. There was nine of that. The seasoning was good, otherwise wouldn't had ate them. I thought the chicken coconut was good. The sauce was rich and creamy. A little bit goes a long way. Chicken was crispy with the right ratio of breading and meat. The coconut shaving added another layer of texture when combine with everything else. In my opinion, the sweet and sour soup was the best. It wasn't eggs or too spicy. Tofu pieces weren't too big or too small and they will hold together. The ratio of ingredients and broth was perfect. The broth was so umami that it will feel like a gentle hung in your mouth. Wife had Mongolian beef with rice. According her, it was good. The beef had too many onions and a hint of sweetness was missing on her dish. Wife and I shared crab rangoons and one steam dumplings. The dumpling was very good. Crab rangoons had more cream cheese than crab. Kids had sesame chicken with rice, lo mein, and honey chicken. Honey chicken was the less favorite for them. It didn't have much taste, it was bland. I think this could be a good option for someone that doesn't eat food with much seasoning. They really enjoyed the sesame chicken. However, they had to settle for rice since there was no lo mein noodles option with that meal. For the kids that really wanted noodles and chicken, we bought lo mein noddles and honey chicken trays. I think if they had sesame chicken trays, it will make their menu more kid friendly. In conclusion, if you are looking to eat a meal at the comfort of your house or place you staying at, this could be an option. If I have the opportunity to try this place again, I will get the sweet and sour soup with steam dumplings. One thing that I would really wish is that they had sesame chicken trays available.”

“Our party of six came on a Monday evening and we were welcomed by the friendliest hostess with a warm smile. From the moment we stepped through the door, we felt extremely welcome. We were seated immediately. The menu has something for everyone (not just oysters!) and I thought the prices were pretty reasonable. Our server Sam was amazing; she was friendly and attentive. The food was also so good. It came out pretty quickly and it was steaming hot. I had the blackened shrimp skewers (amazing!) and my husband had the stuffed shrimp (also great!). My sister-in-law had the low country boil and we all wished we had ordered that. Overall, this place had everything: friendly staff, great atmosphere, and great food. I think we will definitely go back before our trip is over!”

“This is the ONLY fine dining establishment in town thus far! We are honeymooning and this made for a superb date night experience! We travel all over the Country and therefore eat out frequently so we know good food. Staff was very professional and they seemed to have a nice flow for such a new restaurant. It was a beautiful presentation with beautiful views and phenomenal food. Chef knows what he's doing. Everything seemed fresh and that's a must if you are near the sea. We recently went to another restaurant in town based off the "fine dining and 5 star" reviews and were so disappointed. Everything had been frozen even the bread. The scallops there were the size of Kix cereal nuggets so we were thrilled with our experience here and will be returning next week. Also a big shout out to our waitress Caitlin last night. She was lovely and did so well helping me navigate through my allergy issues. I often get sick after eating out but had 0 issues.”

“Exactly what I expected from low country boil. Awesome shrimp and the gumbo was great as well. Take out only or eat out front at one of 6 picnic tables. It is Cash Only so be prepared. Beer and sodas are free and the owners are very nice. I will definitely be stopping by again next time I am in town.”

“Had the grouper sandwich with fries and coleslaw. Everything was great. The fries are seasoned, so if you have salt restrictions you might want to ask for less/no seasoning. Coleslaw was perfect. Def coming back here.”

“A cool place to check out if you're already in the area, but not a destination spot. Great view of the water and a great place to watch an ocean sunset. They serve only beer and wine, but said they should be getting their liquor license in the next few weeks. Service was good. We came during off season, so the place was pretty empty and no wait. Crab cakes had good flavor, but were too moist and soggy. Onion strings were really good (light and crispy. Not greasy at all). The bbq ranch is their best dipping sauce. Limited wine selection.”

“This brisket was the bomb. Some of the best I’ve ever had. We went when they first opened so I assume it was fresh. It was super juicy and the seasoning blend was awesome. Also, the fries aren’t anything “special” but they were cooked perfectly. My husband really liked the white cheddar Mac and cheese which I thought was fine. Sweet tea is pretty good too—and that’s coming from a former sweet tea addict. Would 10000% go again and order just brisket and be happy.”

“I love this place! The food isn't the same as other places I've had the same dishes but it's good. I've asked for spicy and extra spicy and it always tastes the same as no spice. The owners and associates are always a pleasure to communicate with.”

“What’s not to LOVE about this place! I enjoy the fast service and the wide selection of smoothies and healthy energy drinks. Every time I come here, I never know what to order because they have so many options! There are over 30 options with plant-based protein for your smoothie! So far my favorites are Captain America Tea-Bomb and Blueberry Muffin Shake but I have yet to try more. In my opinion, the smoothies are super "healthy" because they are really low sugar, high in vitamins as a meal replacement and they are definitely super tasty. The staff is always friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a tasty smoothie as a post gym snack, or a nice treat to catch up with a friend!”

“We celebrated the grand opening of Pomodoro, last evening. What excellent Italian food! The bruschetta appetizer had just the right amount of garlicky zip to balance the tomato and Italian bread. The fettuccini fruiti di mare was the best we’ve had, ever. The shrimp scampi has a tasty tomato twist. Friends who saved room for dessert gave the tiramisu and the cannoli two thumbs up. Service was friendly and efficient—even with a very full house. Looking forward to our next dinner at the Pomodoro!”

“We've heard about this place from friends and decided to check it out. Place is on the side of the road and has a "rural rustic" vibe. There is a gaming area with a band playing live music to enjoy while waiting to be seated. Place was crowded and waiting was very long. We've waited 2 hours before we were seated. Some people even brought some chairs with them. After I saw that, I had the feeling this was going to be a long wait. Haha. Menu options are very few. You get 2 sheets, one to keep track of your drinks and another one to order food. That made it fast, easy, and convenient when you are ordering food and drinks. We just wish menu was more kids friendly. There is a big fridge in the back of the main seating area where you can get your drinks. You can find beer, juices, soda and bottled water. Wife and I ordered steamed and stuffed shrimps. The stuffing on the shrimps was tasty but shrimps were over cooked. I was put off by it. Only had 2 shrimps. On the other hand, steamed shrimps had the right amount of seasoning and cooked just fine. The portion was good as well. See pictures for more details. Kids mainly ordered burgers and chicken fingers. Taste was more like microwaved food. They don't eat seafood at all. Staff was very friendly and professional. Some of our food took too long and waitress was very apologetic. Despite them being super busy, they handle the situation very well. Overall, I think experience could being a lot better if the few dishes on the menu were executed better and waiting time wasn't too much. In the future, we will give it another try and we will report.”

“This is was a great find! We are Floridians and this is REAL fresh seafood! The grouper sandwich was delicious with plenty of real thick flaky grouper. The oysters were fresh as could be. The homemade ranch was yummy. Ask for Anna. She’s the sweetest and so attentive. This is where you should spend your money!”
