“Pretty consistent location. Sometimes it gets a bit backed up, and slow. It's not as clean as it should be all the time. Would love to see them get a five star review in the future. Definitely still one of the better Panera locations.”

“Great place for great sandwiches and sides. Pastrami flown in from NJ. Coleslaw and pasta salad terrific. Best onion rings in town. Comfortable and absolutely delicious. Battinellis have done it again.”

“Ted’s Most Best is okay...but that’s all. Two employees were okay, nice but not very talkative. The rest of them seemed very stuck-up. I’m not very impressed with the customer service. The food isn’t bad, but remember the prices aren’t bad either, and you get what you pay for. It’s no gourmet meal, but it was still good. The outdoor area is nice, it has a sandbox which is great for kids to play in, however it’s not SUPER well kept. The seating is fairly plentiful to be downtown, so that’s another plus. Overall, it’s not somewhere I would recommend or strive to go to, however if I’m with someone who really wants to go, I would consider returning”

“The options at this local haunt are many, and all that we sampled were awesome. You order at the cash register and the food is brought out to you - be ready with your order when you get to the register because the lines are long and the options are many! It was to chilly to take advantage of the great patio seating during our visit, but it looked very nice and casual. The gumbo was excellent, as was the chicken feast salad. Make sure to try some of the baked goods (brownie was outstanding.)”

“Always good wings from JR Crickets an Atlanta institution. I anticipated the Athens location would be just as good as the 1 on Ponce and I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the 50 piece, 25 lemon pepper 25 buffalo bbq. Fries included with my order. Full bar available with TV screens viewable from every seat. JR Crickets will definitely continue to get my business.”

“The food at the Grit is incredible. You almost do not notice that there is no meat. Vegetarians and non-vegetarians would love this place. The service is always amazing and the atmosphere is great. One of my absolute favorite places. I have never gotten something here that I did not love!”

“While possibly not traditional (I've not real clue) I say it's some of the best food in Athens. This little gem is one of Athens best kept secrets. Food is always superb with bright, vibrant and refreshing flavors. Staff well mannered and very reasonable pricing. Definitely a foodie must.”

“Nice all around stop at any time of day. I stop in for coffee or beer or a snack after meetings to wait for the #8 bus. I also stop in the late evening after other events. It's usually a quiet place and good for reading. There are some live shows.”

“While visiting in the Athens area, we had the chance to visit Taziki's for a very nice evening meal. The menu is extensive, prices are reasonable, the servings are generous - all the signs of a strong-performing restaurant. Taziki's was busy with college students the evening we were there - another sign that this is a good place to eat. I just wish we had Mediterranean equally accessible in our own area. Enjoy.”

“Amazing seafood. The best I've had in many years. $2/oyster is definitely steep, but they are easily the best oysters I have ever had. Everything was very fresh and perfectly done. Except maybe the French fries. They were probably only average. I also hated the ambiance of the place with a passion. It was incredibly loud and the tables were so big, you had to lean way in to have a conversation without yelling. Most other people seemed to be ok with yelling. Still, the food was good enough that I really didn't care much about the horrendous atmosphere.”

“Best happy hour in Athens if you like oysters. Out door seating is available. Indoor is loud and people will hang over your shoulder at the bar to get a seat. Tasty oysters.”

“As my favorite Burger Wendy's has always been my favorite spot for juicy burgers. Those restaurants are always clean, no matter where I go, they're always clean. Great job guys! ????✝️????️”

“Excellent tacos with a rotating weekly special. The fried fish taco, Memphis taco, and rice/ beans are excellent. Try the weekly lunch/ dinner special or special taco and be amazed. Some of the weekly fish dishes are stunners! The drinks are excellent, staff/ manager is efficient and a long line will dissipate quickly like a certain fast food restaurant with chicken we all love! Go give it a try!”

“Living in Athens 2+ years. Heard about Taco Stand early, and have since been a regular. Extremely decent burritos, and the fish tacos are fish generous & terrific alone/with whatever. Easy on the wallet, never disappointed with food quality. Folks at Prince Ave/Milledge locay take care of business. Nothing special as far as ambience- it's a joint. Is clean enough, tables aren't sticky (we usually do take-out). Love it. Our go-to comfort thing. Absolutely an Athens asset.”

“I love this place, they have good breakfast prices, and good lunch prices. I prefer lunch, but they always accommodate me with lunch before lunch hours. Breakfast ends at 10:30am, I wanted lunch items, so the nice lady told me if i didn't mind waiting She would cook what I wanted. It was 9:15am. I don't mind. Thank you guys for being so nice.”

“I could eat fried chicken every day and Popeye's has some of the best. I can't really eat the sides cause they tend to be too hot...but the mac and cheese and green beans are usually pretty good if fresh. Workers can be very helpful and friendly or crabby and rude. I think the manager has a lot to do with that and how they run the team.”

“Place is amazing! I'm weird and don't like cheese. Told them no cheese on my sandwich and they didn't even question my weirdness, which is very rare!!! GREAT PLACE!!”

“I ordered inside and it took a little while to get but man the wait was so worth it. My burger was super fresh, the cheese melted and it was so juicy. Just wish the drive thru would try and do the same. I understand their in a rush but quality is important.”

“Nice employee's. There's a lot of homeless people that hang around late at night but for the most part they don't bother you and are relatively nice.”

“I dined at the Niche today. I can’t understand what all the hoopla about this dinning hall is about. Definitely not a four or five star eatery. Typical college food. Mostly high carbohydrates like potatoes, rice, pasta and bread. Very low on meat dishes, and don’t call pizza or lasagna a meat dish. Also the meal was overpriced for the quality of the food, and don’t make a big deal over “all you can eat dinning”. I’ve ate at better college cafeterias.”

“It's a cozy and stylish place. I really like the simplistic interior. However there is not too much variety for vegetarian and vegans. All in all it is a basic breakfast place that is good to visit if you are close by and just need a bite. I rated it down from 4 stars to three because the coffee quality is not great all.”

“Their pizza is the best I've had in Athens. The crust is perfect it has just the righr chew to it. Their sauce is great and allows you to taste the toppings. They serve cold beer and it's great place to sit outside and people watch in Normal Town. On top of the food and the view the service is pretty near perfect.”

“Had the pleasure of being welcomed into Georgia from Montana. She is an amsolute pleasure and her food is fantastic! The gumbo was bold and delicious and the "James" sandwich is spectacular. I love that they use actual spiral cut ham instead of deli meat. It's an experience all on its own. We will be back!”
