“Went during winter carnival, so the place was packed. you order the food and find a table and patiently wait for food. Was hard to find a table but it was a busy day. Food took a while but was worth the wait. very delicious. Be ready to pick your own utensils and water and bus your table when you are done.”

“A must stop while in McCall. We had a few birthdays this month to celebrate, so why not do it at Ruperts. Also, on Friday night they do some spectacular fish dishes. Steak and wine were excellent as well. The staff is very friendly, views of the lake are special, a great dining experience.”

“Looks like it could be a great place to eat, but we never actually got seated. Restaurant was empty. We were greeted promptly and told to wait to be seated. We got a little impatient and ended up around the corner at another restaurant. We will try again, and I will update my rating.”

“Very good mexican food, great view and very reasonable prices. Service is good, although the place is generally very busy. The complimentary chips, beans and salsa was a good start, meal was fresh and delicious.”

“The fresh squeezed orange juice is just an amazing touch! The orange juice is that good, combined with very friendly staff and an amazing atmosphere, this place is everything we were looking for in our visit to McCall! Very generous portion sizes for the country fried steak and classic Benedict and both were amazing. If we lived local this would be our go to spot, we will be coming back!”

“Of all the visits to McCall, we have not eaten here. The wait was half an hour for a party of 5 and 1 child. Feels more like a European eatery with course meals rather than timed meal placement. They did forget 1 entry order. However, the bison steak was delicious!!! Seafood all around for everyone else. Lamb, bison and fish had good flavor. After a two hour meal we all left satisfied.”

“OMG!!! Had pizza there tonight! Best pizza I have had in a long time!! The thin crust was perfect! We did a half pepperoni, half artichoke, sun dried tomatoes, Italian sausage, and Parmesan cheese. The crust was so well done it held up the heaviest yummy packed slice! The service was great and the guys working were super nice!! I’m stoked and will definitely be back!!”

“Stopped off to get a beer and some food from the River Grill cart… the picture speaks for itself, so good!”

“Went there on a Saturday afternoon. Easy to find a table and the view and service is good. Food quality and taste was ok. The tuna as fresh but the charcuterie board meats and bread tasted a bit stale. The ambience and view are good and likely justify the price. overall, an ok place to try out one”

“Authentic Thai with fresh ingredients made to order, this was a great surprise in Macall, Idaho! My son loved it, we had the chicken fried rice and Thai Beef Salad with sticky rice. We tried to come back the next day before leaving but sadly missed opening hours! Highly recommend!!”

“Wonderful little place! We brought our two little kiddos and we all enjoyed every bit! There was a changing station for our son and our daughter felt comfortable going to the bathroom like a big girl! They had a menu for the kids and some crayons to keep them busy while we waited. Everyone of us enjoyed our perfectly prepared meals, especially me and my giant Mushroom Swiss Burger! With a great bar to wash that great meal down, this is a full service location we will definitely be coming back to!”

“Not bad, just not good. Ordered brisket and pulled pork, got a 3-meat plate. Don’t know if that’s their way of up selling, but since we were charged for 3-meat we tried all 3. Extra item was ribs. Very tender, fall off the bone tender. Brisket was a bit thick cut, completely dry and not really even warm. Pulled pork was a generous helping, cool, not even room temp. The serving of jalapeño pinto beans were bland, having only 1 tiny bit of green in the bowl, possibly jalapeño but couldn’t prove it. The corn in the cob was dry and old. Don’t think it was even held in hot water. 5 stars? Sorry no even close. If you need BBQ and can’t make your own, I guess you could go here.”

“I really didn't want to give this place a good review because I don't want everyone to know about it. Can't deny however that this is a great destination for a good meal with good atmosphere and you can walk right through the building to the bowling alley for even more fun. We had a 10-person group and they took great care of us all of our needs were met, everything was super fresh and from what I understand all the beef is local from Wilder. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the portions were very good. I had the 16-ounce prime with the loaded baked potato and it was top notch. I swear the loaded baked potato had a half a pound of bacon on it! We had onion rings as a appetizer and they were phenomenal! If you live in homedale you already know about this place! If you don't live in homedale it's worth the trip, great homestyle cooking with good people bringing it to the table. The bowling alley is a classic style lots of fun, computer scoring and I hear they have midnight blacklight bowling, and league bowling for all those dedicated bowlers. If you're in homedale go support a local business. You won't be disappointed.”

“Authentic Mexican Food restaurant, meat market and grocery store. The super burrito is amazing. 1. It is huge and 2 it is delicious with steak, cilantro, beans, rice, sour creams and the onions. The chili rellenos are also delicious. Fresh made chips and awesome salsa. Friendly people here”

“Remember back when the menu had this big story on the back, or maybe it was just posted somewhere in the Fairview store about how they would NEVER branch out? Yeah. Cute story. And I’m glad they did. The Nampa store is everything I have come to expect out of the Pie since I started going in the 90’s. Sourdough to die for, perfect spices and flavorings, as always an eclectic beer selection. (COVID’s gone, bring back by the slice and the salad bar, we’ll be okay. Promise ya.) Love this place.”

“Everything I've tried has been good. They even let you mix and match. French Dip with the Sweet Crunchy Candied Bacon burger toppings is amazing. My wife's the Spicy Chicken Linguine. Everything is good.”

“You know there's just something great about a Blimpie sandwich...especially made the Blimpie way. If you haven't tried one, I highly suggest you do. This location is always quick and the ingredients are always fresh. Great lunch location.”

“This is a good Maverick! The staff helped me as soon as I walked in. It's in a great location too! I love the picnic tables they have on the side of the store. They are even covered! The gas prices are good. The bathroom was clean too.”

“Got there at 8:45 and they gladly took our order and cooked the food fresh even though they were cleaning and getting ready to close. Bigger portion than other places, I had some left over for lunch! The chicken teriyaki is probably the best I've had in Idaho so far.”

“Kate's Country Kitchen is a great family-run (and family friendly) restaurant. They are open for breakfast and lunch, and have a wide variety of menu options. The staff is friendly and helpful. Always check the specials! They are amazing! (Specials are posted on a blackboard to the right of the breakfast counter).”

“Best Mexican food around. 100% recommend it. Homemade chips and some nice homemade salsa that has a bit of a kick to it. Massive stuffed burritos that can act like an entire meal in a tortilla. Great people, great food, great service. If you are a local that hasn't been before or if you are in from out of town this is a MUST visit. My personal favorite being a deluxe chicken burrito (no guacamole[personal preference]), with a side of chips and salsa. The burrito is thick, filled to the brim with chicken, rice, cilantro, beans, sourcream, cheese, onion, and absolutely DELICIOUS. My ONLY complaint with Tacos El Dorado is that they aren't open more than they already are, their food is just that good.”

“Wish they'd open back up the dining room. Soda was cold and refreshing and we didn't have to wait long in the drive through for it to be ready. (Edit January 2024 The dining room is now open! I've been back several times now! Food is still great!)”
