“It was just ok. Garlic knots were fantastic, probably the best thing we had. The 10" Gluten Free sausage was decent but not great. The 10" bacon had good flavor but not great and the meatball sub was good, but not great. It always baffles me that restaurants still use wooden handled utensils. They are dirty and dingy looking and more likely than not filled with bacteria. You can see the cracks and separating along the edges. Get some durable plastic or something that looks nicer. The restaurant and bar area are very cool looking and give off the New York vibe. So much so the waitress even took our fries away without asking if we were done!”

“A lovely change to the original Country House, Lisle location. We were a party of 10 in the dining room. Super inviting atmosphere & our server/bartender was very pleasant and informative. Nice menu with plenty of different options. Beet salad was delicious.Brisket sliders and pulled pork sandwiches were enjoyed. grilled cheese & tomato soup was looking lovely, we would suggest adding more cheese to make it even better 😉 Bloody Mary’s were enjoyed. “Had a wonderful time at the renewed Galewood Pub! Great beer selection, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. We ordered the cheese curds and mini sliders for an app… both were in point! For dinner we had the crispy chicken sandwich and the Mac and Cheese w a side salad. It was so good, we had nothing left on the plate to rave about! High five to the new owners! You can tell Jeff and Sarah put their heart into this place. We will definitely be back!”

“1/21/19. My first day at work and a friend from out of state was kind enough to venmo me some money to treat myself to some coffee. Stopped through the drive thru at this location the way home and was craving some iced coffee. The employee apologized that their machine was down. I truly wasn't upset - I didn't plan on the coffee to begin with so I was happy with pretty much anything. I opted for a hot chocolate. Drove over to pay, and the employee again apologized, and offered a free donut in return. I said a jelly donut would be great. I paid and collected my drink and bag and drove home, happy to enjoy my spontaneous treat after a good long day. Only then did I see that I was given two jelly donuts. Sir, I never got your name but you are truly one of a kind.”

“Went here with my sister and husband during lunch time to celebrate a special occasion. Quick to be seated, very efficient and helpful staff; the food was incredible! They brought out chips and salsa right away (we each got our own bowl of salsa! No worrying about everyone double dipping!) We got some huge burrito, different types of tacos, and I got the enchiladas with red sauce. My husband and I both commented on how it was the Most authentic tasting Mexican food We have had in a while! Loved the atmosphere, the food, and the staff. I’ll definitely be back!!”
