“My boyfriend and I had the Taco Pizza last night and it was phenomenal! The side sauce was excellent too. I would highly recommend their pizza and onion rings. The inside has been remodeled and it's much more welcoming, cozy and clean.”

“I order from this location during the week while working and I really can’t complain with service times. Usual delivery time is between 15-20 minutes from the time I send my order in via the app though I order during lunch rush. They have yet to disappointment me on my order. On occasion they don’t cut my sandwich in half but with them not just throwing my sandwich together, it’s manageable and not messy regardless.”

“I stopped in for a Whopper and fries and shake. I asked for fresh hot fries and was told no problem. I was told the order would take couple minutes longer cause they just dropped my fries and they would wait to make my sandwich just before the fries were done. I thanked her and found out she was the night time manager. The food was fresh and hit and the service was the best. I will and I have gone back to this location”

“Oh my, what a hidden gem. The food here is amazing! I went in not know what African food is, but everything I tasted was amazing. This place is easy to miss, it is tucked away in a little strip mall. The restaurant is nothing fancy, but the food speaks for itself. I ordered the goat and rice. Let's start with the rice pilaf, it was so flavorful, great texture and more than enough to fill even the hungriest of patrons. The goat is on bone, but that gives flavor to the meat. It had a great flavor and they also provide two different types of hot sauce to go along with it. Not too spicy but totally different flavor profiles, one being more citrus based. I also had a fried sweet rice cake that was so good. I also had a taste of a friend's chicken leg and it was so tender, I have to order this next time. Unfortunately, for some reason my phone didn't save any pictures. I guess I will have to go back to get more photos. One suggestion, it would be nice if you provided a knife. The service was also top notch.”

“Your staff does an awesome job every single time. Never once have I had a bad food experience or service with your location. I always look forward to your service and quality every time. One minor adjustment is maybe a little more sauce on you sweet habanero wings but other then that keep doing all that you doing. Great job guys.”

“I really enjoyed this restaurant. It has the very genuine feeling of real people sharing their culture and food. It was very comfortable and welcoming with marvelous flavors and great cooking. I highly recommend it and will be back for sure. It IS a bit hard to find- they are still making a front sign which should improve find-ability. It is on the north side of Douglas Av. around 29th. Try it out!”

“Loved Taco Casa. I always get the enchiladas. My kids and I think the cheese tastes different than from other places. Not a bad thing, just different. It's been there since 1973.”

“Great variety, overpriced, so-so quality. The menu is pretty extensive. We ordered oysters on the half shell. They were small and a few were gritty. Served with lime and hot sauce. The red snapper was quite good. The fries were undercooked, the shrimp, again, small. All in all, given other area options, we'll stick with Waterfront (WDM), and Seafood Trap. Their quality is superior to Alegrias.”

“Great place to take pictures. This place is at a very busy intersection but there is large space to sit, stand and walk around to be able to take great pictures. This is an iconic statue.”

“I cannot speak highly enough of this restaurant. The food was delicious! The salad bar was awesome! I love how they have the lounge to wait in so you aren't waiting in a small hall or entry. Our waitress was very friendly and the service was quick and we were checked on often. I would recommend this place to anybody.”

“My family and I decided to try something new and chose Chucks! We came in last Saturday, while the restaurant was quite busy we were offered the choice of the music room - the room was fairly busy but we were seated immediately. Our server Kelsey greeted us right away with waters and assured us wait times may take a little longer. We weren’t sure what to order, she recommended several of her favorites, we chose mozzarella sticks and wings to get started. They were DELICIOUS. Great portions. Kelsey continued following up with us, refilling our drinks & making sure we were happy, she had a great attitude, kept smiling (which is a big deal to have a continuous smile and bubbly personality to me). She was very busy, having several other tables and rooms. We ended the night with a chicken fettuccine, a spinach ravioli, and a large buffalo chicken pizza. All was worth the wait! Very great tasting food, good pricing and great people!! Will be back soon!”

“We loved the food here! We got here too late for the beef but our chicken and broccoli and cashew chicken were awesome! We loved the huge portions as we got two meals out of one entree and the complimentary kimchi was delicious! Our meals were made to order and the owners are very nice. We are definitely coming back soon!”

“Ordered the nachos with pork. Nachos were really tasty and they were generous with cheese and chips but skimped on the meat. Overall, they were a great value and I would definitely recommend. I'll have to come back and try their ribs. They have a few choices for bbq sauces. They were all pretty good. Definitely worth a trip!”

“Where do I even begin with how fantastic the Embassy Club was for our wedding. From the first tour to our wedding day Emily was absolutely amazing. She had brilliant ideas about how to maximize the space and how to work with our budget. She was always responsive to emails and questions and she made our event everything we dreamed of and more! Tyler was our venue coordinator on our wedding day and he went above and beyond to work behind the scenes but to always make sure the wedding party was happy. He checked on us multiple times and our event was flawless with his help. The food and service were fantastic as always and the view was truly the star of the show. If you want an elegant affair where you can take a seat and let them handle all of the fine details, Embassy Club is the place! I can’t recommend the Embassy Club enough. It truly is one of the best wedding venues in the metro!!”

“This place has unique food you don't find at a lot of other restaurants in Des Moines. It is made well and is all quite filling. Not as much bar food as a hearty meal, but their food and lagers pair well. This place has been around a long time for a reason! Authentic food, generally stays pretty busy and amazing selection of beers/ciders/etc!”

“This was my first visit to a potbelly so didnt know what to expect. Their sandwiches were very good, fast service, they had a lot of additional options, 3 types of soups, salads etc I would say a little more upscale than your average Subway or Jimmy Johns. Pricing was as expected.”
